1 In the five|strong="H2568" and twentieth|strong="H6242" year|strong="H8141" of our captivity|strong="H1546", in the beginning|strong="H7218" of the year|strong="H8141", in the tenth|strong="H6218" day of the month|strong="H2320", in the fourteenth|strong="H0702" year|strong="H8141" after|strong="H0310" that the city|strong="H5892" was smitten|strong="H5221", in the selfsame|strong="H6106" day|strong="H3117" the hand|strong="H3027" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was upon me, and brought|strong="H0935" me thither.
2 In the visions|strong="H4759" of God|strong="H0430" brought|strong="H0935" he me into the land|strong="H0776" of Israel|strong="H3478", and set|strong="H5117" me upon a very|strong="H3966" high|strong="H1364" mountain|strong="H2022", by which was as the frame|strong="H4011" of a city|strong="H5892" on the south|strong="H5045".
3 And he brought|strong="H0935" me thither, and, behold, there was a man|strong="H0376", whose appearance|strong="H4758" was like the appearance|strong="H4758" of brass|strong="H5178", with a line|strong="H6616" of flax|strong="H6593" in his hand|strong="H3027", and a measuring|strong="H4060" reed|strong="H7070"; and he stood|strong="H5975" in the gate|strong="H8179".
4 And the man|strong="H0376" said|strong="H1696" unto me, Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", behold|strong="H7200" with thine eyes|strong="H5869", and hear|strong="H8085" with thine ears|strong="H0241", and set|strong="H7760" thine heart|strong="H3820" upon all that I shall shew|strong="H7200" thee; for to the intent|strong="H4616" that I might shew|strong="H7200" them unto thee art thou brought|strong="H0935" hither: declare|strong="H5046" all that thou seest|strong="H7200" to the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478".
5 And behold a wall|strong="H2346" on the outside|strong="H2351" of the house|strong="H1004" round about|strong="H5439", and in the man’s|strong="H0376" hand|strong="H3027" a measuring|strong="H4060" reed|strong="H7070" of six|strong="H8337" cubits|strong="H0520" long by the cubit|strong="H0520" and an hand breadth|strong="H2948": so he measured|strong="H4058" the breadth|strong="H7341" of the building|strong="H1146", one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070"; and the height|strong="H6967", one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070".
6 Then came|strong="H0935" he unto the gate|strong="H8179" which looketh|strong="H6440" toward|strong="H1870" the east|strong="H6921", and went up|strong="H5927" the stairs|strong="H4609" thereof, and measured|strong="H4058" the threshold|strong="H5592" of the gate|strong="H8179", which was one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070" broad|strong="H7341"; and the other|strong="H0259" threshold|strong="H5592" of the gate, which was one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070" broad|strong="H7341".
7 And every little chamber|strong="H8372" was one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070" long|strong="H0753", and one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070" broad|strong="H7341"; and between the little chambers|strong="H8372" were five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520"; and the threshold|strong="H5592" of the gate|strong="H8179" by|strong="H0681" the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179" within|strong="H1004" was one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070".
8 He measured|strong="H4058" also the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179" within|strong="H1004", one|strong="H0259" reed|strong="H7070".
9 Then measured|strong="H4058" he the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179", eight|strong="H8083" cubits|strong="H0520"; and the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, two|strong="H8147" cubits|strong="H0520"; and the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179" was inward|strong="H1004".
10 And the little chambers|strong="H8372" of the gate|strong="H8179" eastward|strong="H1870" were three|strong="H7969" on this side|strong="H6311", and three|strong="H7969" on that side|strong="H6311"; they three|strong="H7969" were of one|strong="H0259" measure|strong="H4060": and the posts|strong="H0352" had one|strong="H0259" measure|strong="H4060" on this side and on that side.
11 And he measured|strong="H4058" the breadth|strong="H7341" of the entry|strong="H6607" of the gate|strong="H8179", ten|strong="H6235" cubits|strong="H0520"; and the length|strong="H0753" of the gate|strong="H8179", thirteen|strong="H7969" cubits|strong="H0520".
12 The space|strong="H1366" also before|strong="H6440" the little chambers|strong="H8372" was one|strong="H0259" cubit|strong="H0520" on this side, and the space|strong="H1366" was one cubit|strong="H0520" on that side: and the little chambers|strong="H8372" were six|strong="H8337" cubits|strong="H0520" on this side, and six|strong="H8337" cubits|strong="H0520" on that side.
13 He measured|strong="H4058" then the gate|strong="H8179" from the roof|strong="H1406" of one little chamber|strong="H8372" to the roof|strong="H1406" of another: the breadth|strong="H7341" was five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520", door|strong="H6607" against door|strong="H6607".
14 He made|strong="H6213" also posts|strong="H0352" of threescore|strong="H8346" cubits|strong="H0520", even unto the post|strong="H0352" of the court|strong="H2691" round about|strong="H5439" the gate|strong="H8179".
15 And from the face|strong="H6440" of the gate|strong="H8179" of the entrance|strong="H2978" unto the face|strong="H6440" of the porch|strong="H0197" of the inner|strong="H6442" gate|strong="H8179" were fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520".
16 And there were narrow|strong="H0331" windows|strong="H2474" to the little chambers|strong="H8372", and to their posts|strong="H0352" within|strong="H6441" the gate|strong="H8179" round about|strong="H5439", and likewise to the arches|strong="H0361": and windows|strong="H2474" were round about|strong="H5439" inward|strong="H6441": and upon each post|strong="H0352" were palm trees|strong="H8561".
17 Then brought|strong="H0935" he me into the outward|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691", and, lo, there were chambers|strong="H3957", and a pavement|strong="H7531" made|strong="H6213" for the court|strong="H2691" round about|strong="H5439": thirty|strong="H7970" chambers|strong="H3957" were upon the pavement|strong="H7531".
18 And the pavement|strong="H7531" by the side|strong="H3802" of the gates|strong="H8179" over against|strong="H5980" the length|strong="H0753" of the gates|strong="H8179" was the lower|strong="H8481" pavement|strong="H7531".
19 Then he measured|strong="H4058" the breadth|strong="H7341" from the forefront|strong="H6440" of the lower|strong="H8481" gate|strong="H8179" unto the forefront|strong="H6440" of the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" without|strong="H2351", an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520" eastward|strong="H6921" and northward|strong="H6828".
20 And the gate|strong="H8179" of the outward|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691" that looked|strong="H6440" toward|strong="H1870" the north|strong="H6828", he measured|strong="H4058" the length|strong="H0753" thereof, and the breadth|strong="H7341" thereof.
21 And the little chambers|strong="H8372" thereof were three|strong="H7969" on this side and three|strong="H7969" on that side; and the posts|strong="H0352" thereof and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof were after the measure|strong="H4060" of the first|strong="H7223" gate|strong="H8179": the length|strong="H0753" thereof was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520".
22 And their windows|strong="H2474", and their arches|strong="H0361", and their palm trees|strong="H8561", were after the measure|strong="H4060" of the gate|strong="H8179" that looketh|strong="H6440" toward|strong="H1870" the east|strong="H6921"; and they went up|strong="H5927" unto it by seven|strong="H7651" steps|strong="H4609"; and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof were before|strong="H6440" them.
23 And the gate|strong="H8179" of the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" was over against the gate|strong="H8179" toward the north|strong="H6828", and toward the east|strong="H6921"; and he measured|strong="H4058" from gate|strong="H8179" to gate|strong="H8179" an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520".
24 After that he brought|strong="H3212" me toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864", and behold a gate|strong="H8179" toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864": and he measured|strong="H4058" the posts|strong="H0352" thereof and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof according to these measures|strong="H4060".
25 And there were windows|strong="H2474" in it and in the arches|strong="H0361" thereof round about|strong="H5439", like those windows|strong="H2474": the length|strong="H0753" was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520".
26 And there were seven|strong="H7651" steps|strong="H4609" to go up|strong="H5930" to it, and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof were before|strong="H6440" them: and it had palm trees|strong="H8561", one|strong="H0259" on this side, and another|strong="H0259" on that side, upon the posts|strong="H0352" thereof.
27 And there was a gate|strong="H8179" in the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864": and he measured|strong="H4058" from gate|strong="H8179" to gate|strong="H8179" toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864" an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520".
28 And he brought|strong="H0935" me to the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" by the south|strong="H1864" gate|strong="H8179": and he measured|strong="H4058" the south|strong="H1864" gate|strong="H8179" according to these measures|strong="H4060";
29 And the little chambers|strong="H8372" thereof, and the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof, according to these measures|strong="H4060": and there were windows|strong="H2474" in it and in the arches|strong="H0361" thereof round about|strong="H5439": it was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520" long|strong="H0753", and five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520" broad|strong="H7341".
30 And the arches|strong="H0361" round about|strong="H5439" were five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520" long|strong="H0753", and five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520" broad|strong="H7341".
31 And the arches|strong="H0361" thereof were toward the utter|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691"; and palm trees|strong="H8561" were upon the posts|strong="H0352" thereof: and the going up|strong="H4608" to it had eight|strong="H8083" steps|strong="H4609".
32 And he brought|strong="H0935" me into the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" toward|strong="H1870" the east|strong="H6921": and he measured|strong="H4058" the gate|strong="H8179" according to these measures|strong="H4060".
33 And the little chambers|strong="H8372" thereof, and the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof, were according to these measures|strong="H4060": and there were windows|strong="H2474" therein and in the arches|strong="H0361" thereof round about|strong="H5439": it was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520" long|strong="H0753", and five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520" broad|strong="H7341".
34 And the arches|strong="H0361" thereof were toward the outward|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691"; and palm trees|strong="H8561" were upon the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up|strong="H4608" to it had eight|strong="H8083" steps|strong="H4609".
35 And he brought|strong="H0935" me to the north|strong="H6828" gate|strong="H8179", and measured|strong="H4058" it according to these measures|strong="H4060";
36 The little chambers|strong="H8372" thereof, the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, and the arches|strong="H0361" thereof, and the windows|strong="H2474" to it round about|strong="H5439": the length|strong="H0753" was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" five|strong="H2568" and twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520".
37 And the posts|strong="H0352" thereof were toward the utter|strong="H2435" court|strong="H2691"; and palm trees|strong="H8561" were upon the posts|strong="H0352" thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up|strong="H4608" to it had eight|strong="H8083" steps|strong="H4609".
38 And the chambers|strong="H3957" and the entries|strong="H6607" thereof were by the posts|strong="H0352" of the gates|strong="H8179", where they washed|strong="H1740" the burnt offering|strong="H5930".
39 And in the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179" were two|strong="H8147" tables|strong="H7979" on this side, and two tables|strong="H7979" on that side, to slay|strong="H7819" thereon the burnt offering|strong="H5930" and the sin offering|strong="H2403" and the trespass offering|strong="H0817".
40 And at the side|strong="H3802" without|strong="H2351", as one goeth up|strong="H5927" to the entry|strong="H6607" of the north|strong="H6828" gate|strong="H8179", were two|strong="H8147" tables|strong="H7979"; and on the other|strong="H0312" side|strong="H3802", which was at the porch|strong="H0197" of the gate|strong="H8179", were two|strong="H8147" tables|strong="H7979".
41 Four|strong="H0702" tables|strong="H7979" were on this side, and four|strong="H0702" tables|strong="H7979" on that side, by the side|strong="H3802" of the gate|strong="H8179"; eight|strong="H8083" tables|strong="H7979", whereupon they slew|strong="H7819" their sacrifices.
42 And the four|strong="H0702" tables|strong="H7979" were of hewn|strong="H1496" stone|strong="H0068" for the burnt offering|strong="H5930", of a cubit|strong="H0520" and an half|strong="H2677" long|strong="H0753", and a cubit|strong="H0520" and an half|strong="H2677" broad|strong="H7341", and one|strong="H0259" cubit|strong="H0520" high|strong="H1363": whereupon also they laid|strong="H3240" the instruments|strong="H3627" wherewith they slew|strong="H7819" the burnt offering|strong="H5930" and the sacrifice|strong="H2077".
43 And within|strong="H1004" were hooks|strong="H8240", an|strong="H0259" hand|strong="H2948" broad, fastened|strong="H3559" round about|strong="H5439": and upon the tables|strong="H7979" was the flesh|strong="H1320" of the offering|strong="H7133".
44 And without|strong="H2351" the inner|strong="H6442" gate|strong="H8179" were the chambers|strong="H3957" of the singers|strong="H7891" in the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691", which was at the side|strong="H3802" of the north|strong="H6828" gate|strong="H8179"; and their prospect|strong="H6440" was toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864": one|strong="H0259" at the side|strong="H3802" of the east|strong="H6921" gate|strong="H8179" having the prospect|strong="H6440" toward|strong="H1870" the north|strong="H6828".
45 And he said|strong="H1696" unto me, This|strong="H2090" chamber|strong="H3957", whose prospect|strong="H6440" is toward|strong="H1870" the south|strong="H1864", is for the priests|strong="H3548", the keepers|strong="H8104" of the charge|strong="H4931" of the house|strong="H1004".
46 And the chamber|strong="H3957" whose prospect|strong="H6440" is toward|strong="H1870" the north|strong="H6828" is for the priests|strong="H3548", the keepers|strong="H8104" of the charge|strong="H4931" of the altar|strong="H4196": these are the sons|strong="H1121" of Zadok|strong="H6659" among the sons|strong="H1121" of Levi|strong="H3878", which come near|strong="H7131" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* to minister|strong="H8334" unto him.
47 So he measured|strong="H4058" the court|strong="H2691", an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520" long|strong="H0753", and an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520" broad|strong="H7341", foursquare|strong="H7251"; and the altar|strong="H4196" that was before|strong="H6440" the house|strong="H1004".
48 And he brought|strong="H0935" me to the porch|strong="H0197" of the house|strong="H1004", and measured|strong="H4058" each post|strong="H0352" of the porch|strong="H0197", five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520" on this side, and five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520" on that side: and the breadth|strong="H7341" of the gate|strong="H8179" was three|strong="H7969" cubits|strong="H0520" on this side, and three|strong="H7969" cubits|strong="H0520" on that side.
49 The length|strong="H0753" of the porch|strong="H0197" was twenty|strong="H6242" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" eleven|strong="H6249" cubits|strong="H0520"; and he brought me by the steps|strong="H4609" whereby they went up|strong="H5927" to it: and there were pillars|strong="H5982" by the posts|strong="H0352", one|strong="H0259" on this side, and another|strong="H0259" on that side.
