Cast|strong="H7971" thy bread|strong="H3899" upon|strong="H6440" the waters|strong="H4325": for thou shalt find|strong="H4672" it after many|strong="H7230" days|strong="H3117".
Give|strong="H5414" a portion|strong="H2506" to seven|strong="H7651", and also to eight|strong="H8083"; for thou knowest|strong="H3045" not what evil|strong="H7451" shall be upon the earth|strong="H0776".
If the clouds|strong="H5645" be full|strong="H4390" of rain|strong="H1653", they empty|strong="H7324" themselves upon the earth|strong="H0776": and if the tree|strong="H6086" fall|strong="H5307" toward the south|strong="H1864", or toward the north|strong="H6828", in the place|strong="H4725" where the tree|strong="H6086" falleth|strong="H5307", there it shall be|strong="H1933".
He that observeth|strong="H8104" the wind|strong="H7307" shall not sow|strong="H2232"; and he that regardeth|strong="H7200" the clouds|strong="H5645" shall not reap|strong="H7114".
As thou knowest|strong="H3045" not what is the way|strong="H1870" of the spirit|strong="H7307", nor how the bones|strong="H6106" do grow in the womb|strong="H0990" of her that is with child|strong="H4392": even so thou knowest|strong="H3045" not the works|strong="H4639" of God|strong="H0430" who maketh|strong="H6213" all.
In the morning|strong="H1242" sow|strong="H2232" thy seed|strong="H2233", and in the evening|strong="H6153" withhold|strong="H3240" not thine hand|strong="H3027": for thou knowest|strong="H3045" not whether|strong="H0335" shall prosper|strong="H3787", either this or that, or whether they both|strong="H8147" shall be alike|strong="H0259" good|strong="H2896".
Truly the light|strong="H0216" is sweet|strong="H4966", and a pleasant|strong="H2896" thing it is for the eyes|strong="H5869" to behold|strong="H7200" the sun|strong="H8121":
But if a man|strong="H0120" live|strong="H2421" many|strong="H7235" years|strong="H8141", and rejoice|strong="H8055" in them all; yet let him remember|strong="H2142" the days|strong="H3117" of darkness|strong="H2822"; for they shall be many|strong="H7235". All that cometh|strong="H0935" is vanity|strong="H1892".
Rejoice|strong="H8055", O young man|strong="H0970", in thy youth|strong="H3208"; and let thy heart|strong="H3820" cheer|strong="H2895" thee in the days|strong="H3117" of thy youth|strong="H0979", and walk|strong="H1980" in the ways|strong="H1870" of thine heart|strong="H3820", and in the sight|strong="H4758" of thine eyes|strong="H5869": but know|strong="H3045" thou, that for all these things God|strong="H0430" will bring|strong="H0935" thee into judgment|strong="H4941".
Therefore remove|strong="H5493" sorrow|strong="H3708" from thy heart|strong="H3820", and put away|strong="H5674" evil|strong="H7451" from thy flesh|strong="H1320": for childhood|strong="H3208" and youth|strong="H7839" are vanity|strong="H1892".
