1 And|strong="G2532" I saw|strong="G1492" a new|strong="G2537" heaven|strong="G3772" and|strong="G2532" a new|strong="G2537" earth|strong="G1093": for|strong="G1063" the first|strong="G4413" heaven|strong="G3772" and|strong="G2532" the first|strong="G4413" earth|strong="G1093" were passed away|strong="G3928"; and|strong="G2532" there was|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" sea|strong="G2281".
2 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" John|strong="G2491" saw|strong="G1492" the holy|strong="G0040" city|strong="G4172", new|strong="G2537" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", coming down|strong="G2597" from|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316" out of|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772", prepared|strong="G2090" as|strong="G5613" a bride|strong="G3565" adorned|strong="G2885" for her|strong="G0846" husband|strong="G0435".
3 And|strong="G2532" I heard|strong="G0191" a great|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456" out of|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772" saying|strong="G3004", Behold|strong="G2400", the tabernacle|strong="G4633" of God|strong="G2316" is with|strong="G3326" men|strong="G0444", and|strong="G2532" he will dwell|strong="G4637" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" shall be|strong="G2071" his|strong="G0846" people|strong="G2992", and|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" himself|strong="G0846" shall be|strong="G2071" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846", and be their|strong="G0846" God|strong="G2316".
4 And|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" shall wipe away|strong="G1813" all|strong="G3956" tears|strong="G1144" from|strong="G0575" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788"; and|strong="G2532" there shall be|strong="G2071" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" death|strong="G2288", neither|strong="G3777" sorrow|strong="G3997", nor|strong="G3777" crying|strong="G2906", neither|strong="G3777" shall there be|strong="G2071" any more|strong="G2089" pain|strong="G4192": for|strong="G3754" the former things|strong="G4413" are passed away|strong="G0565".
5 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G3588" that sat|strong="G2521" upon|strong="G1909" the throne|strong="G2362" said|strong="G2036", Behold|strong="G2400", I make|strong="G4160" all things|strong="G3956" new|strong="G2537". And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G3004" unto me|strong="G3427", Write|strong="G1125": for|strong="G3754" these|strong="G3778" words|strong="G3056" are|strong="G1526" true|strong="G0228" and|strong="G2532" faithful|strong="G4103".
6 And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G2036" unto me|strong="G3427", It is done|strong="G1096". I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" Alpha|strong="G0001" and|strong="G2532" Omega|strong="G5598", the beginning|strong="G0746" and|strong="G2532" the end|strong="G5056". I|strong="G1473" will give|strong="G1325" unto him that is athirst|strong="G1372" of|strong="G1537" the fountain|strong="G4077" of the water|strong="G5204" of life|strong="G2222" freely|strong="G1432".
7 He|strong="G3588" that overcometh|strong="G3528" shall inherit|strong="G2816" all things|strong="G3956"; and|strong="G2532" I will be|strong="G2071" his|strong="G0846" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" shall be|strong="G2071" my|strong="G3427" son|strong="G5207".
8 But|strong="G1161" the fearful|strong="G1169", and|strong="G2532" unbelieving|strong="G0571", and|strong="G2532" the abominable|strong="G0948", and|strong="G2532" murderers|strong="G5406", and|strong="G2532" whoremongers|strong="G4205", and|strong="G2532" sorcerers|strong="G5332", and|strong="G2532" idolaters|strong="G1496", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" liars|strong="G5571", shall have their|strong="G0846" part|strong="G3313" in|strong="G1722" the lake|strong="G3041" which|strong="G3588" burneth|strong="G2545" with fire|strong="G4442" and|strong="G2532" brimstone|strong="G2303": which|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2076" the second|strong="G1208" death|strong="G2288".
9 And|strong="G2532" there came|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G4314" me|strong="G3165" one|strong="G1520" of the seven|strong="G2033" angels|strong="G0032" which had|strong="G2192" the seven|strong="G2033" vials|strong="G5357" full|strong="G1073" of the seven|strong="G2033" last|strong="G2078" plagues|strong="G4127", and|strong="G2532" talked|strong="G2980" with|strong="G3326" me|strong="G1700", saying|strong="G3004", Come hither|strong="G1204", I will shew|strong="G1166" thee|strong="G4671" the bride|strong="G3565", the Lamb’s|strong="G0721" wife|strong="G1135".
10 And|strong="G2532" he carried|strong="G0667" me|strong="G3165" away|strong="G0667" in|strong="G1722" the spirit|strong="G4151" to|strong="G1909" a great|strong="G3173" and|strong="G2532" high|strong="G5308" mountain|strong="G3735", and|strong="G2532" shewed|strong="G1166" me|strong="G3427" that great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172", the holy|strong="G0040" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", descending|strong="G2597" out of|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772" from|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316",
11 Having|strong="G2192" the glory|strong="G1391" of God|strong="G2316": and|strong="G2532" her|strong="G0846" light|strong="G5458" was like unto|strong="G3664" a stone|strong="G3037" most precious|strong="G5093", even like|strong="G5613" a jasper|strong="G2393" stone|strong="G3037", clear as crystal|strong="G2929";
12 And|strong="G5037" had|strong="G2192" a wall|strong="G5038" great|strong="G3173" and|strong="G2532" high|strong="G5308", and had|strong="G2192" twelve|strong="G1427" gates|strong="G4440", and|strong="G2532" at|strong="G1909" the gates|strong="G4440" twelve|strong="G1427" angels|strong="G0032", and|strong="G2532" names|strong="G3686" written thereon|strong="G1924", which|strong="G3739" are|strong="G2076" the names of the twelve|strong="G1427" tribes|strong="G5443" of the children|strong="G5207" of Israel|strong="G2474":
13 On|strong="G0575" the east|strong="G0395" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440"; on|strong="G0575" the north|strong="G1005" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440"; on|strong="G0575" the south|strong="G3558" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440"; and on|strong="G0575" the west|strong="G1424" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440".
14 And|strong="G2532" the wall|strong="G5038" of the city|strong="G4172" had|strong="G2192" twelve|strong="G1427" foundations|strong="G2310", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" them|strong="G0846" the names|strong="G3686" of the twelve|strong="G1427" apostles|strong="G0652" of the Lamb|strong="G0721".
15 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G3588" that talked|strong="G2980" with|strong="G3326" me|strong="G1700" had|strong="G2192" a golden|strong="G5552" reed|strong="G2563" to|strong="G2443" measure|strong="G3354" the city|strong="G4172", and|strong="G2532" the gates|strong="G4440" thereof|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" the wall|strong="G5038" thereof|strong="G0846".
16 And|strong="G2532" the city|strong="G4172" lieth|strong="G2749" foursquare|strong="G5068", and|strong="G2532" the length|strong="G3372" is|strong="G2076" as large|strong="G5118" as|strong="G3745" the breadth|strong="G4114": and|strong="G2532" he measured|strong="G3354" the city|strong="G4172" with the reed|strong="G2563", twelve|strong="G1427" thousand|strong="G5505" furlongs|strong="G4712". The length|strong="G3372" and|strong="G2532" the breadth|strong="G4114" and|strong="G2532" the height|strong="G5311" of it|strong="G0846" are|strong="G2076" equal|strong="G2470".
17 And|strong="G2532" he measured|strong="G3354" the wall|strong="G5038" thereof|strong="G0846", an hundred|strong="G1540" and forty|strong="G5062" and four|strong="G5064" cubits|strong="G4083", according to the measure|strong="G3358" of a man|strong="G0444", that|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2076", of the angel|strong="G0032".
18 And|strong="G2532" the building|strong="G1739" of the wall|strong="G5038" of it|strong="G0846" was|strong="G2258" of jasper|strong="G2393": and|strong="G2532" the city|strong="G4172" was pure|strong="G2513" gold|strong="G5553", like unto|strong="G3664" clear|strong="G2513" glass|strong="G5194".
19 And|strong="G2532" the foundations|strong="G2310" of the wall|strong="G5038" of the city|strong="G4172" were garnished|strong="G2885" with all manner|strong="G3956" of precious|strong="G5093" stones|strong="G3037". The first|strong="G4413" foundation|strong="G2310" was jasper|strong="G2393"; the second|strong="G1208", sapphire|strong="G4552"; the third|strong="G5154", a chalcedony|strong="G5472"; the fourth|strong="G5067", an emerald|strong="G4665";
20 The fifth|strong="G3991", sardonyx|strong="G4557"; the sixth|strong="G1623", sardius|strong="G4556"; the seventh|strong="G1442", chrysolite|strong="G5555"; the eighth|strong="G3590", beryl|strong="G0969"; the ninth|strong="G1766", a topaz|strong="G5116"; the tenth|strong="G1182", a chrysoprasus|strong="G5556"; the eleventh|strong="G1734", a jacinth|strong="G5192"; the twelfth|strong="G1428", an amethyst|strong="G0271".
21 And|strong="G2532" the twelve|strong="G1427" gates|strong="G4440" were twelve|strong="G1427" pearls|strong="G3135"; every|strong="G1538" several|strong="G0303" gate|strong="G4440" was|strong="G2258" of|strong="G1537" one|strong="G1520" pearl|strong="G3135": and|strong="G2532" the street|strong="G4113" of the city|strong="G4172" was pure|strong="G2513" gold|strong="G5553", as it were|strong="G5613" transparent|strong="G1307" glass|strong="G5194".
22 And|strong="G2532" I saw|strong="G1492" no|strong="G3756" temple|strong="G3485" therein|strong="G0846": for|strong="G1063" the Lord|strong="G2962" God|strong="G2316" Almighty|strong="G3841" and|strong="G2532" the Lamb|strong="G0721" are|strong="G2076" the temple|strong="G3485" of it|strong="G0846".
23 And|strong="G2532" the city|strong="G4172" had|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532" of the sun|strong="G2246", neither|strong="G3761" of the moon|strong="G4582", to|strong="G2443" shine|strong="G5316" in|strong="G1722" it|strong="G0846": for|strong="G1063" the glory|strong="G1391" of God|strong="G2316" did lighten|strong="G5461" it|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" the Lamb|strong="G0721" is the light|strong="G3088" thereof|strong="G0846".
24 And|strong="G2532" the nations|strong="G1484" of them|strong="G3588" which are saved|strong="G4982" shall walk|strong="G4043" in|strong="G1722" the light|strong="G5457" of it|strong="G0846": and|strong="G2532" the kings|strong="G0935" of the earth|strong="G1093" do bring|strong="G5342" their|strong="G0846" glory|strong="G1391" and|strong="G2532" honour|strong="G5092" into|strong="G1519" it|strong="G0846".
25 And|strong="G2532" the gates|strong="G4440" of it|strong="G0846" shall|strong="G2808" not|strong="G3756" be shut|strong="G2808" at all|strong="G3361" by day|strong="G2250": for|strong="G1063" there shall be|strong="G2071" no|strong="G3756" night|strong="G3571" there|strong="G1563".
26 And|strong="G2532" they shall bring|strong="G5342" the glory|strong="G1391" and|strong="G2532" honour|strong="G5092" of the nations|strong="G1484" into|strong="G1519" it|strong="G0846".
27 And|strong="G2532" there shall|strong="G1525" in no wise|strong="G3756" enter|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" it|strong="G0846" any thing|strong="G3956" that defileth|strong="G2840", neither|strong="G2532" whatsoever worketh|strong="G4160" abomination|strong="G0946", or|strong="G2532" maketh a lie|strong="G5579": but|strong="G1487" they|strong="G3588" which are written|strong="G1125" in|strong="G1722" the Lamb’s|strong="G0721" book|strong="G0975" of life|strong="G2222".
