1 Woe|strong="H1945" to them that are at ease|strong="H7600" in Zion|strong="H6726", and trust|strong="H0982" in the mountain|strong="H2022" of Samaria|strong="H8111", which are named|strong="H5344" chief|strong="H7225" of the nations|strong="H1471", to whom the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" came|strong="H0935"!
1 Ai dos que repousam em Sião e dos que estão seguros no monte de Samaria; que têm nome entre as primeiras nações, e aos quais vem a casa de Israel!
2 Pass|strong="H5674" ye unto Calneh|strong="H3641", and see|strong="H7200"; and from thence go|strong="H3212" ye to Hamath|strong="H2574" the great|strong="H7227": then go down|strong="H3381" to Gath|strong="H1661" of the Philistines|strong="H6430": be they better|strong="H2896" than these kingdoms|strong="H4467"? or their border|strong="H1366" greater|strong="H7227" than your border|strong="H1366"?
2 Passai a Calné e vede; e dali ide à grande Hamate; depois descei a Gate dos filisteus; serão melhores que estes reinos? Ou será maior o seu termo do que o vosso termo?
3 Ye that put far away|strong="H5077" the evil|strong="H7451" day|strong="H3117", and cause the seat|strong="H7675" of violence|strong="H2555" to come near|strong="H5066";
3 Vós que dilatais o dia mau e vos chegais ao lugar de violência;
4 That lie|strong="H7901" upon beds|strong="H4296" of ivory|strong="H8127", and stretch|strong="H5628" themselves upon their couches|strong="H6210", and eat|strong="H0398" the lambs|strong="H3733" out of the flock|strong="H6629", and the calves|strong="H5695" out of the midst|strong="H8432" of the stall|strong="H4770";
4 que dormis em camas de marfim, e vos estendeis sobre os vossos leitos, e comeis os cordeiros do rebanho e os bezerros do meio da manada;
5 That chant|strong="H6527" to the sound|strong="H6310" of the viol|strong="H5035", and invent|strong="H2803" to themselves instruments|strong="H3627" of musick|strong="H7892", like David|strong="H1732";
5 que cantais ao som do alaúde e inventais para vós instrumentos músicos, como Davi;
6 That drink|strong="H8354" wine|strong="H3196" in bowls|strong="H4219", and anoint|strong="H4886" themselves with the chief|strong="H7225" ointments|strong="H8081": but they are not grieved|strong="H2470" for the affliction|strong="H7667" of Joseph|strong="H3130".
6 que bebeis vinho em taças e vos ungis com o mais excelente óleo, mas não vos afligis pela quebra de José:
7 Therefore now shall they go captive|strong="H1540" with the first|strong="H7218" that go captive|strong="H1540", and the banquet|strong="H4797" of them that stretched|strong="H5628" themselves shall be removed|strong="H5493".
7 eis que, agora, ireis em cativeiro entre os primeiros que forem cativos, e cessarão os festins dos regalados.
8 The Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w* hath sworn|strong="H7650" by himself|strong="H5315", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* the God|strong="H0430" of hosts|strong="H6635", I abhor|strong="H8374" the excellency|strong="H1347" of Jacob|strong="H3290", and hate|strong="H8130" his palaces|strong="H0759": therefore will I deliver up|strong="H5462" the city|strong="H5892" with all that is therein|strong="H4393".
8 Jurou o Senhor Jeová pela sua alma, o Senhor , Deus dos Exércitos: Tenho abominação pela soberba de Jacó e aborreço os seus palácios; e entregarei a cidade e tudo o que nela há.
9 And it shall come to pass, if there remain|strong="H3498" ten|strong="H6235" men|strong="H0582" in one|strong="H0259" house|strong="H1004", that they shall die|strong="H4191".
9 E acontecerá que, ficando de resto dez homens em uma casa, morrerão.
10 And a man’s uncle|strong="H1730" shall take him up|strong="H5375", and he that burneth|strong="H5635" him, to bring out|strong="H3318" the bones|strong="H6106" out of the house|strong="H1004", and shall say|strong="H0559" unto him that is by the sides|strong="H3411" of the house|strong="H1004", Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say|strong="H0559", No|strong="H0657". Then shall he say|strong="H0559", Hold thy tongue|strong="H2013": for we may not make mention|strong="H2142" of the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
10 E a alguém tomará o seu tio ou o que o queima, para levar os ossos para fora da casa; e dirá ao que estiver nos cantos da casa: Está ainda alguém contigo? E ele dirá: Ninguém. E dirá este: Cala-te, porque não podemos fazer menção do nome do Senhor .
11 For, behold, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commandeth|strong="H6680", and he will smite|strong="H5221" the great|strong="H1419" house|strong="H1004" with breaches|strong="H7447", and the little|strong="H6996" house|strong="H1004" with clefts|strong="H1233".
11 Porque eis que o Senhor manda, e será ferida a casa grande de quebraduras, e a casa pequena, de fendas.
12 Shall horses|strong="H5483" run|strong="H7323" upon the rock|strong="H5553"? will one plow|strong="H2790" there with oxen|strong="H1241"? for ye have turned|strong="H2015" judgment|strong="H4941" into gall|strong="H7219", and the fruit|strong="H6529" of righteousness|strong="H6666" into hemlock|strong="H3939":
12 Poderão correr cavalos na rocha? Poderão lavrá-la com bois? Por que haveis vós tornado o juízo em fel e o fruto da justiça em alosna?
13 Ye which rejoice|strong="H8056" in a thing|strong="H1697" of nought|strong="H3808", which say|strong="H0559", Have we not taken|strong="H3947" to us horns|strong="H7161" by our own strength|strong="H2392"?
13 Vós que vos alegrais de nada, vós que dizeis: Não nos temos nós tornado poderosos por nossa força?
14 But, behold, I will raise up|strong="H6965" against you a nation|strong="H1471", O house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* the God|strong="H0430" of hosts|strong="H6635"; and they shall afflict|strong="H3905" you from the entering in|strong="H0935" of Hemath|strong="H2574" unto the river|strong="H5158" of the wilderness|strong="H6160".
14 Porque eis que eu levantarei sobre vós, ó casa de Israel, um povo, diz o Senhor , Deus dos Exércitos, e oprimir-vos-á, desde a entrada de Hamate até ao ribeiro da planície.
