1 Finally|strong="G3063", brethren|strong="G0080", pray|strong="G4336" for|strong="G4012" us|strong="G2257", that|strong="G2443" the word|strong="G3056" of the Lord|strong="G2962" may have|strong="G5143" free course|strong="G5143", and|strong="G2532" be glorified|strong="G1392", even|strong="G2532" as|strong="G2531" it is with|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209":
1 Por fim, irmãos, orai por nós, para que a palavra do Senhor se propague e seja estimada, tal como acontece entre vós,
2 And|strong="G2532" that|strong="G2443" we may be delivered|strong="G4506" from|strong="G0575" unreasonable|strong="G0824" and|strong="G2532" wicked|strong="G4190" men|strong="G0444": for|strong="G1063" all|strong="G3956" men have not|strong="G3756" faith|strong="G4102".
2 e para que sejamos livres dos homens perversos e maus; porque nem todos possuem a fé.
3 But|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" is|strong="G2076" faithful|strong="G4103", who|strong="G3739" shall stablish|strong="G4741" you|strong="G5209", and|strong="G2532" keep|strong="G5442" you from|strong="G0575" evil|strong="G4190".
3 Mas o Senhor é fiel, e ele há de vos dar forças e vos preservar do mal.
4 And|strong="G1161" we have confidence|strong="G3982" in|strong="G1722" the Lord|strong="G2962" touching|strong="G1909" you|strong="G5209", that|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G4160" both|strong="G2532" do|strong="G4160" and|strong="G2532" will do|strong="G4160" the things which|strong="G3739" we command|strong="G3853" you|strong="G5213".
4 Quanto a vós, temos plena certeza no Senhor de que estareis cumprindo e continuareis a cumprir o que vos prescrevemos.
5 And|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" direct|strong="G2720" your|strong="G5216" hearts|strong="G2588" into|strong="G1519" the love|strong="G0026" of God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" into|strong="G1519" the patient waiting|strong="G5281" for Christ|strong="G5547".
5 Que o Senhor dirija os vossos corações para o amor de Deus e a paciência de Cristo.
6 Now|strong="G1161" we command|strong="G3853" you|strong="G5213", brethren|strong="G0080", in|strong="G1722" the name|strong="G3686" of our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", that|strong="G4724" ye|strong="G5209" withdraw yourselves|strong="G4724" from|strong="G0575" every|strong="G3956" brother|strong="G0080" that walketh|strong="G4043" disorderly|strong="G0814", and|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3361" after|strong="G2596" the tradition|strong="G3862" which|strong="G3739" he received|strong="G3880" of|strong="G3844" us|strong="G2257".
6 Intimamo-vos, irmãos, em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que eviteis a convivência de todo irmão que leve vida ociosa e contrária à tradição que de nós tendes recebido.
7 For|strong="G1063" yourselves|strong="G0846" know|strong="G1492" how|strong="G4459" ye ought|strong="G1163" to follow|strong="G3401" us|strong="G2248": for|strong="G3754" we behaved|strong="G0812" not|strong="G3756" ourselves disorderly|strong="G0812" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213";
7 Sabeis perfeitamente o que deveis fazer para nos imitar. Não temos vivido entre vós desregradamente,
8 Neither|strong="G3761" did we eat|strong="G5315" any man’s|strong="G5100" bread|strong="G0740" for nought|strong="G1432"; but|strong="G0235" wrought|strong="G2038" with|strong="G1722" labour|strong="G2873" and|strong="G2532" travail|strong="G3449" night|strong="G3571" and|strong="G2532" day|strong="G2250", that|strong="G4314" we might|strong="G1912" not|strong="G3361" be chargeable to|strong="G1912" any|strong="G5100" of you|strong="G5216":
8 nem temos comido de graça o pão de ninguém. Mas, com trabalho e fadiga, labutamos noite e dia, para não sermos pesados a nenhum de vós.
9 Not|strong="G3756" because|strong="G3754" we have|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3756" power|strong="G1849", but|strong="G0235" to|strong="G2443" make|strong="G1325" ourselves|strong="G1438" an ensample|strong="G5179" unto you|strong="G5213" to|strong="G1519" follow|strong="G3401" us|strong="G2248".
9 Não porque não tivéssemos direito para isso, mas foi para vos oferecer em nós mesmos um exemplo a imitar.
10 For|strong="G1063" even|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3753" we were|strong="G1510" with|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209", this|strong="G5124" we commanded|strong="G3853" you|strong="G5213", that|strong="G3754" if|strong="G1487" any|strong="G5100" would|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" work|strong="G2038", neither|strong="G3366" should he eat|strong="G2068".
10 Aliás, quando estávamos convosco, nós vos dizíamos formalmente: Quem não quiser trabalhar, não tem o direito de comer.
11 For|strong="G1063" we hear|strong="G0191" that there are|strong="G4043" some|strong="G5100" which walk|strong="G4043" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213" disorderly|strong="G0814", working|strong="G2038" not at all|strong="G3367", but|strong="G0235" are busybodies|strong="G4020".
11 Entretanto, soubemos que entre vós há alguns desordeiros, vadios, que só se preocupam em intrometer-se em assuntos alheios.
12 Now|strong="G1161" them that are such|strong="G5108" we command|strong="G3853" and|strong="G2532" exhort|strong="G3870" by|strong="G1223" our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", that|strong="G2443" with|strong="G3326" quietness|strong="G2271" they work|strong="G2038", and eat|strong="G2068" their own|strong="G1438" bread|strong="G0740".
12 A esses indivíduos ordenamos e exortamos a que se dediquem tranqüilamente ao trabalho para merecerem ganhar o que comer.
13 But|strong="G1161" ye|strong="G5210", brethren|strong="G0080", be|strong="G1573" not|strong="G3361" weary|strong="G1573" in well doing|strong="G2569".
13 Vós, irmãos, não vos canseis de fazer o bem.
14 And|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" any man|strong="G5100" obey|strong="G5219" not|strong="G3756" our|strong="G2257" word|strong="G3056" by|strong="G1223" this epistle|strong="G1992", note|strong="G4593" that man|strong="G5126", and|strong="G2532" have|strong="G4874" no|strong="G3361" company with|strong="G4874" him|strong="G0846", that|strong="G2443" he may be ashamed|strong="G1788".
14 Se alguém não obedecer ao que ordenamos por esta carta, notai-o e, para que ele se envergonhe, deixai de ter familiaridade com ele.
15 Yet|strong="G2532" count|strong="G2233" him not|strong="G3361" as|strong="G5613" an enemy|strong="G2190", but|strong="G0235" admonish|strong="G3560" him as|strong="G5613" a brother|strong="G0080".
15 Porém, não deveis considerá-lo como inimigo, mas repreendê-lo como irmão.
16 Now|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" of peace|strong="G1515" himself|strong="G0846" give|strong="G1325" you|strong="G5213" peace|strong="G1515" always|strong="G1223" by|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956" means|strong="G5158". The Lord|strong="G2962" be with|strong="G3326" you|strong="G5216" all|strong="G3956".
16 O Senhor da paz vos conceda a paz em todo o tempo e em todas as circunstâncias. O Senhor esteja com todos vós.
17 The salutation|strong="G0783" of Paul|strong="G3972" with mine own|strong="G1699" hand|strong="G5495", which|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2076" the token|strong="G4592" in|strong="G1722" every|strong="G3956" epistle|strong="G1992": so|strong="G3779" I write|strong="G1125".
