1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core, a psalm.
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo para os filhos de Corá. Senhor, tu foste favorável à tua terra; tu trouxeste de volta os cativos de Jacó.
2 Lord, thou hast blessed thy land: thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob.
2 Perdoaste a iniquidade do teu povo, cobriste todo o seu pecado. Selá.
3 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered all their sins.
3 Retiraste toda a tua ira; tu te desviaste da ferocidade da tua raiva.
4 Thou hast mitigated all thy anger: thou best turned away from the wrath of thy indignation.
4 Transforma-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faz com que a tua ira em relação a nós cesse.
5 Convert us, O God our saviour: and turn off thy anger from us.
5 Ficarás irado conosco para sempre? Alongarás a tua ira a todas as gerações?
6 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?
6 Não nos reviverás outra vez; para que o teu povo possa regozijar-se em ti?
7 Thou wilt turn, O God, and bring us to life: and thy people shall rejoice in thee.
7 Mostra-nos tua misericórdia, ó SENHOR, e dá-nos a tua salvação.
8 Shew us, O Lord, thy mercy; and grant us thy salvation.
8 Eu ouvirei o que Deus, o SENHOR, falar: pois ele falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos seus santos; mas que eles não se voltem novamente à loucura.
9 I will hear what the Lord God will speak in me: for he will speak peace unto his people: And unto his saints: and unto them that are converted to the heart.
9 Certamente a sua salvação está perto daqueles que o temem; que a glória possa habitar em nossa terra.
10 Surely his salvation is near to them that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land.
10 A misericórdia e a verdade se encontram juntas; a justiça e a paz se beijaram.
11 Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed.
11 A verdade saltará para fora da terra, e a justiça olhará para baixo lá do céu.
12 Truth is sprung out of the earth: and justice hath looked down from heaven.
12 Sim, o SENHOR dará àquele que é bom; e a nossa terra renderá o seu crescimento.
13 For the Lord will give goodness: and our earth shall yield her fruit.
13 Justiça irá diante dele, e nos colocará no caminho dos seus passos.
14 Justice shall walk before him: and shall set his steps in the way.
