1 Jesu waenderera kugomba nao kuhumira ndarira, achiamba,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Njira ya Mlungu kutsambula atue inaelezwa ni ndarira hino. Mfalume mmwenga wamuhendera mwanawe karamu ya arusi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Achihuma atumishie akaihe atu arioalikpwa edze arusini. Ela hinyo arioalikpwa arema kpwedza.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Hipho wahuma atumishi anjina, achiaambira, ‘Aambireni hara arioalikpwa: Sambi karamu i tayari, nátsindza ndzau na ndama za kunona; chila chitu chi tayari. Ndzoni arusini!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ela hara arioalikpwa agapuza, chila mmwenga walunga shuulize. Mmwenga waphiya kpwakpwe mundani na wanjina achiphiya kpwakpwe dukani.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Anjina achiagbwira hara atumishi achiagayisa, na chisha achiaolaga.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 “Mfalume ariphosikira hivyo, watsukirwa sana. Achihuma asikarie akaolage hara atu ayi na kuocha mudzi wao.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Chisha achiaambira atumishie, ‘Chakurya cha arusi chi tayari, ela arioalikpwa kala taafwaha.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Sambi phiyani hiko mudzini na yeyesi ndiyemuona barabarani muambireni edze arusini.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Hara atumishi aphiya chila njira, achiareha atu osi, anono na ayi. Nyumba ya arusi ichiodzala ajeni.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Ela mfalume ariphoinjira kulola hara ajeni, waona mutu mmwenga ambaye kala kavwarire nguwo ya arusi.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Phahi achimuuza, ‘Msena wangu, ukainjiradze muno bila nguwo ya arusi?’ Ela yuya mutu kayagomba chitu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Chisha mfalume waambira atumishie, ‘Mfungeni mikono na magulu mukamtsuphe kondze jizani, ambako andarira na kusaga meno.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Chimarigizo Jesu waamba, “Mana atu anji nkualikpwa, ela atsambulwao ni achache.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Chisha Mafarisayo aphiya njama, achendapanga njira ya kumgbwira Jesu kpwa sababu ya manenoge.

16 Phahi ahuma afuasi aho na hara a chikundi cha Herode, nao achendamuamba, “Mwalimu, hunamanya kukala uwe u mutu muaminifu, na unafundza kpweli kuhusu Mlungu alagizago, nawe kulunga maoni ga atu mana cheo si chochosi kpwako.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Hebu huambire unaonadze. Dze, shariya zehu zinahuruhusu kuripha kodi kpwa Kaisari, mtawala wa Chirumi? Huriphe hebu husiriphe?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Ela Jesu wamanya maazo gao mai, achiaambira, “Mwi anafiki, mbona munanipima achili?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Nionyesani hira pesa ya kuriphira kodi.” Nao achimrehera hira pesa.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ariphoihewa achiauza, “Sura na dzina ni ra ani?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Nao achimuamba, “Ni vya Kaisari.” Ndipho achiaambira, “Phahi, vya Kaisari mupheni Kaisari, na vya Mlungu, mupheni Mlungu.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ariphosikira hivyo, aangalala. Phahi achimricha, na achiphiya vyao.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Siku iyo-iyo Jesu watsolokerwa ni Masadukayo anjina. Nao Masadukayo ni kundi ra Ayahudi asioamini kukala atu achifwa andafufuka.

24 Agomba achimuamba, “Mwalimu, Musa waamba mutu achilóla alafu achifwa bila ya kuphaha ana, nduguye ni lazima ahale ufwa hiye gungu, na amvyarire ana yuya mufwa.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Phahi kpwakala na ndugu sabaa ambao hwaishi nao. Wa mwandzo walóla mchetu, achifwa bila ya kuvyala naye ana. Hiye gungu achihalwa ufwa ni ndugungbwa wa yuya mufwa.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Phahi hiye wa phiri wafwa kabila ya kuphaha mwana. Wa hahu naye dza vivyo, hadi achisira osi sabaa.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Mwisho, yuya mchetu naye piya wafwa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Dze, siku ndiphofufulwa atu, yuya mchetu andakala mkpwaza ani? Mana ndugu osi amlóla.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ela Jesu waambira, “Mwimwi Masadukayo munakosera, mana tammanya Maandiko wala uwezo wa Mlungu.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Mana siku ya kufufulwa, atu andakala dza malaika hiko mlunguni ambao taalóla wala taalólwa.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Na kuhusu atu kufufulwa, dze, tamdzangbwesoma gara ambago muambirwa ni Mlungu? Iye waamba,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Mimi ni Mlungu wa Burahimu, wa Isaka na wa Jakobo.’ Kpwa hivyo, iye si Mlungu wa atu ariofwa, ela ni Mlungu wa ario moyo.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Na atu osi ariphosikira higo, aangalazwa ni mafundzoge.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Mafarisayo ariphosikira kukala Jesu waahendesa Masadukayo anyamale, akutana.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Mmwenga wao, yekala ni mwanashariya, wamuuza Jesu swali kumhega achili.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Waamba, “Mwalimu, ndani ya Shariya za Musa ni shariya iphi iriyo kulu sana?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Naye Jesu achiamba, “ ‘Mmendze Mwenyezi Mlungu, Mlungu wenu, na mioyo yenu yosi, na roho zenu zosi, na mkpwotse wenu wosi.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Iyo ndiyo shariya ya kpwandza na ya muhimu sana.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Na ya phiri yoigana na iyo ya kpwandza, ni hino yiambayo, ‘Mmendze myao dza vyo udzimendzavyo mwenye.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Shariya zosi za Musa na mafundzo ga manabii zinategemea shariya hizi mbiri.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Mafarisayo ariphokala achere phamwenga, Jesu waauza,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Kpwani mwino munamanyani kuhusu Masihi? Ni chivyazi cha ani?” Nao achimuamba, “Ni chivyazi cha Mfalume Daudi.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jesu achiaambira, “Sambi inawezekanadze Daudi wagomba kpwa uwezo wa Roho Mtakatifu achimuiha ‘Bwana?’ Mana wagomba achiamba:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Mwenyezi Mlungu wamuamba Bwana wangu,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 “Ichikala Daudi anamuiha hiye mutu, ‘Bwana wangu,’ vinakaladze akale ni chivyaziche?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Taphana ariyeweza kumjibu neno. Na hangu siku iyo atu osi aogopha kumuuza maswali zaidi.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
