¹ [A Psalm of David.] Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?

¹ Ó Senhor Deus, quem tem o direito de morar no teu Templo? Quem pode viver no teu

² He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.

² Só tem esse direito aquele que vive uma vida correta, que faz o que é certo e que é sincero e verdadeiro no que diz.

³ {He that} slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;

³ Ele não fala mal dos outros, não prejudica os seus amigos e não espalha boatos a respeito dos seus vizinhos.

⁴ In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;

⁴ Ele despreza aqueles que o mas trata com respeito os que o Ele cumpre o que promete, mesmo com prejuízo próprio,

⁵ {He that} putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these {things} shall never be moved.
