1 And God remembered Noah, and all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
1 E Deus lembrou de Noé, e de toda coisa vivente, e de todo o gado que estava com ele na arca; e Deus fez um vento passar sobre a terra, e as águas se diminuíram.
2 And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were closed, and the pour of rain from heaven was stopped.
2 Também as fontes do abismo e as janelas do céu foram fechadas, e a chuva do céu foi contida;
3 And the waters retired from the earth, continually retiring; and in the course of a hundred and fifty days the waters abated.
3 e as águas retornaram de sobre a terra continuamente; e após o fim dos cento e cinquenta dias as águas foram diminuídas.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.
4 E a arca descansou no sétimo mês, no décimo sétimo dia do mês, sobre os montes de Ararate.
5 And the waters abated continually until the tenth month: in the tenth {month}, on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
5 E as águas diminuíram continuamente até o décimo mês; no décimo mês, no primeiro dia do mês, foram vistos os topos dos montes.
6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
6 E aconteceu que, ao fim de quarenta dias, Noé abriu a janela da arca que ele fizera.
7 And he sent out the raven, which went forth going to and fro, until the waters were dried from the earth.
7 E ele enviou um corvo, que saindo, ia e voltava, até secar as águas de sobre a terra.
8 And he sent out the dove from him, to see if the waters had become low on the ground.
8 Ele também enviou uma pomba, para ver se as águas haviam diminuído da face da terra;
9 But the dove found no resting-place for the sole of her foot, and returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the whole earth; and he put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.
9 mas a pomba não encontrou descanso para a sola de seu pé, e ela retornou para ele na arca, pois as águas estavam sobre a face de toda a terra. Então, ele estendeu sua mão e a tomou, e a puxou para si para dentro da arca.
10 And he waited yet other seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
10 E ele ficou mais outros sete dias, e novamente enviou a pomba para fora da arca,
11 And the dove came to him at eventide; and behold, in her beak was an olive-leaf plucked off; and Noah knew that the waters had become low on the earth.
11 e a pomba veio a ele à tarde, e eis que no seu bico estava uma folha de oliveira arrancada. Assim Noé soube que as águas haviam diminuído de sobre a terra.
12 And he waited yet other seven days, and sent forth the dove; but she returned no more to him.
12 E ele ficou mais outros sete dias, e enviou a pomba, que não mais retornou a ele.
13 And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first {month}, on the first of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried.
13 E aconteceu, no seiscentésimo primeiro ano, no primeiro mês, no primeiro dia do mês, que as águas foram secas de sobre a terra. E Noé removeu a cobertura da arca, e olhou, e eis que a face da terra estava seca.
14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
14 E no segundo mês, no vigésimo sétimo dia do mês, a terra estava seca.
15 And God spoke to Noah, saying,
15 E Deus falou a Noé, dizendo:
16 Go out of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
16 Vai adiante da arca, tu e tua mulher e teus filhos, e as mulheres de teus filhos contigo.
17 Bring forth with thee every animal which is with thee, of all flesh, fowl as well as cattle, and all the creeping things which creep on the earth, that they may swarm on the earth, and may be fruitful and multiply on the earth.
17 Traze toda coisa vivente que está contigo, de toda carne, tanto das aves, quanto do gado e de toda coisa rastejante que rasteja sobre a terra; que eles possam procriar abundantemente na terra, e sejam frutíferos, e se multipliquem sobre a terra.
18 And Noah went out, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him.
18 E Noé foi adiante, e seus filhos e sua mulher, e as mulheres de seus filhos com ele.
19 All the animals, all the creeping things, and all the fowl-everything that moves on the earth, after their kinds, went out of the ark.
19 E saíram da arca todo animal, toda coisa rastejante, e toda ave, e tudo que rasteja sobre a terra, segundo as suas espécies.
20 And Noah built an altar to Jehovah; and took of every clean animal, and of all clean fowl, and offered up burnt-offerings on the altar.
20 E Noé construiu um altar ao SENHOR; e tomou de todo animal limpo, e de toda ave limpa, e ofereceu ofertas queimadas sobre o altar.
21 And Jehovah smelled the sweet odour. And Jehovah said in his heart, I will no more henceforth curse the ground on account of Man, for the thought of Man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will no more smite every living thing, as I have done.
21 E o SENHOR cheirou um aroma doce, e o SENHOR disse em seu coração: Eu não amaldiçoarei novamente a terra por causa do homem; pois a imaginação do coração do homem é má desde a sua juventude. Tampouco eu ferirei novamente toda coisa vivente, como o fiz.
22 Henceforth, all the days of the earth, seed {time} and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease.
22 Enquanto a terra permanecer, tempo de semeadura e de colheita, e frio e calor, e verão e inverno, e dia e noite não cessarão.
