4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.

5 For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;

7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.

9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Goke teŋbe Al Kuruŋyen asaŋde gahade katiŋ hi:
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
11 Yeŋbe mata buluŋ yubul teŋbe mata igiŋ po teŋ hiyeŋ.
11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;
12 Gobe Doyaŋ Al Kuruŋ beleŋ al huwak po doyaŋ yirde hiyen,
12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.
13 Be, deŋ beleŋ mata igiŋ teŋ teŋ niŋ kurut yeŋ hinayiŋbe ganuŋ al beleŋ buluŋ diryeŋ? Hubu wor po!
13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?
14 Goyenbe deŋ beleŋ mata huwak teŋ hike al kura beleŋ buluŋ dirnayiŋ gobe Al Kuruŋ beleŋ guram dirde tareŋ dird dird niŋgeb, gogo forok yihi yeŋ nurde hinayiŋ. Niŋgeb al beleŋ buluŋ dird dird niŋ kafura ma heŋ hinayiŋ, irde kandukŋeŋ ma nurde hinayiŋ.
14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!

Irde wol heŋ momoŋ yirde heŋyabe bekkeŋde igiŋ mat mere yirde palap dirtek mata mat mere yirde hinayiŋ.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 Niŋgeb mata igiŋ teŋ kanduk yeneŋ hinayiŋ gobe Al Kuruŋyen dufay kenem igiŋ. Gega mata buluŋ teŋ gote kanduk bana hinayiŋ gobe igiŋ moŋ.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.

20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.

21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.

22 Esse Jesus Cristo, tendo subido ao céu, está assentado à direita de Deus, depois de ter recebido a submissão dos anjos, dos principados e das potestades.
