1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,

3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Nekztanaqui yekja piyunanaca cuchanchizakazza, tuz̈ cjican: “Invitta z̈oñinacz̈quin mazca, ‘Chjeri lujlz tjacztac̈ha. Wejt wacanaca conkatchinc̈ha, niz̈aza cjew animalanacami. Tjappacha listuc̈ha, jaziqui pjijstiquin tjonla’ ”.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Jalla nuz̈ chiyanami nii invitta z̈oñinacaqui ana cazquichic̈ha. Tsjiiqui zkal yoka ojkchic̈ha. Tsjiiqui tuyz̈tan ojkchic̈ha.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Parti invitta z̈oñinacaqui kjawzñi cuchanta piyunanaca tanzic̈ha. Nekztan kitchic̈ha, conañcama.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Jalla nekztanaqui nii chawc jiliriqui ninacz̈ quintra z̈awjzic̈ha. Nekztan zultatunaca cuchanz̈quichic̈ha, nii piyuna conñinaca conz̈cajo. Niz̈aza, ninacz̈ watja ujz̈cajo.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Jalla niz̈ta paaz̈cu chawc jiliriqui piyunanacz̈quiz cjichic̈ha: “Tjappacha zalz pjijstac listuc̈ha. Nii primir invitta z̈oñinacaqui ana tjonz waquizic̈ha.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Jalla niz̈tiquiztan anc̈hucqui pajk calliranz̈ ojklayz̈ca. Jecnacz̈tanami zalac̈haja, jalla ninacz̈quiz tjonajum cjequic̈ha tii zalz pjijstiquin”.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Jalla nekztanaqui piyunanacaqui call kjutñi ulanchic̈ha, niz̈aza tjapa niiz̈ zaltanaca kjuyquiz ajcskatz̈quichic̈ha, zuma z̈oñimi, ana zuma z̈oñimi. Jalla nekztanaqui pjijsta paaz kjuyaqui chjijpsi cjissic̈ha.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ‛Jalla nekztanaqui chawjc jiliriqui luzquichic̈ha invitta z̈oñinaca cherzñi. Tsjii z̈ejlñi z̈oñi naychic̈ha, ana pjijsta paaz zquiti cutchi z̈elatc̈ha.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Jalla nuz̈ nayz̈cu nii chawjc jiliriqui niiz̈quin paljaychic̈ha tuz̈ cjican: “Jila, ¿kjaz̈tiquiztan amqui ana pjijsta paaz zquiti cujtchi luzquichamtajo?” Nii z̈oñiqui ch'uj quirchic̈ha.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nekztanaqui chawjc jiliriqui pjijsta atintiñi z̈oñinacz̈quiz mantichic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican: “Kjojchanacami kjaranacami c̈hejlz̈ina. Zawnc zumchiquiz tjojta, jalla nicju kaala, niz̈aza niiz̈ iz̈ke kjojla”.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Jesusaqui cjichizakazza:
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Jalla nekztanaqui fariseo z̈oñinacaqui ojkchic̈ha. Ninacaqui acuerduquiz kazzic̈ha, Jesusiz̈ quintra tsjii ujchiz cjiskatzjapa. Jaknuz̈umi Jesusa tsjii ana wali chiikataquic̈ha; jalla nii ujchiz cjiskatz pecatc̈ha.

16 Jalla nekztan ninacz̈ partiquiztan yekjap z̈oñinaca cuchanz̈quichic̈ha, Herodes parti z̈oñinacz̈tanpacha. Jalla nii cuchanta z̈oñinacaqui Jesusiz̈quiz cjichic̈ha:
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Jaziqui amqui tii tantiiz̈inalla. ¿Roman chawc jilirz̈quin impuesto pacz wali cjesaya? uz̈ ¿anaz̈ wali cjesaj? Jalla nii ziz pecuc̈ha.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Pero Jesusaqui ninacz̈ ana zuma pinsita intinzuna zizzic̈ha. Jalla niz̈tiquiztan ninacz̈quiz kjaazic̈ha tuz̈ cjican:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Jalla nii paaz cherz̈cu, Jesusaqui ninacz̈quiz pewczic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Nii quintranacaqui kjaazic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Jalla nuz̈ nonz̈cu, nii quintranacaqui ispantichic̈ha. Nekztan Jesusiz̈quiztan zarakz̈cu ojkchic̈ha.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Jalla nii noojpacha yekjap saduceo parti z̈oñinacaqui Jesusa cheri ojkchic̈ha. Saduceo parti z̈oñinacaqui ana criiñitac̈ha, ticziquiztan jacatatz, nii. Jalla nuz̈ cjenami Jesusiz̈quiz pewczic̈ha. Tii quintu quint'ican, pewczic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Jaziqui wejrnacporquiz pakallak jilazullca z̈elatc̈ha. Jilir jilaqui zalsic̈ha. Nekztan ticzic̈ha ana ocjalchiz. Jalla nekztan jilirz̈ jar jilaqui naa z̈ewatan zalsizakazza.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Nii jilaqui ticzizakazza ana zinta ocjala ecz̈cu. Nekztan yekja taypir jilz̈tan niz̈tazakaz watchic̈ha. Niz̈aza tjappach nii pakallak jilazullquiz̈quiz niz̈ta watchic̈ha.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Tjapa nii pakallak jilazullcaz̈ ticztan, naa z̈ewqui ticzinzakazza.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Jaziqui ticziquiztan jacatatz̈cu, naa z̈ewqui ¿jakziltiz̈ tjun cjequejo? Tjappacha naatancama zalzitac̈ha.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jesusaqui ninacz̈quiz tuz̈ kjaazic̈ha:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ticzi z̈oñinacaz̈ jacatattanaqui zalzqui ana z̈elaquic̈ha. Z̈oñinacami z̈oñz̈ maatinacami ana zalznaquic̈ha. Nii timpuquiz z̈oñinacaqui arajpach Yooz anjilanacaz̈takaz cjequic̈ha.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Tsjii lii maestruqui niz̈aza fariseo partinacz̈quiztan uj jwesjapa yanz pecatc̈ha. Jesusiz̈quiz pewczic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 —Maestro, uc̈hum liiquiztanaqui ¿c̈hjul mantitat juc'ant chekanaya?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Nekztan Jesusaqui kjaazic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Parti mantitanacquiztan cjenaqui jalla niic̈ha chekanaqui.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Niiz̈ jaru tii mantitaqui z̈ejlc̈ha. “Jaknuz̈um persunpachquiz okzñamz̈laja, jalla niz̈ta okzñi kuzziz cjistanc̈ha z̈oñinacz̈quizimi, liijitum maziz̈takaz”.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Jalla nii pizc mantitanacac̈ha chekanaqui. Niz̈aza tjapa Moisés tjaata liimi, niz̈aza tjapa profetanacaz̈ tjaajintanacami nii pizc mantitanacz̈ partiquiztan chiic̈ha.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Fariseo z̈oñinacaz̈ ajczi z̈elan, Jesusaqui ninacz̈quiz pewczic̈ha tuz̈ cjican:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 Nekztanaqui ninacaqui Jesusiz̈quiz kjaazic̈ha, tuz̈ cjican:
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jalla nuz̈ kjaaztiquiztan Jesusaqui ninacz̈quiz cjichic̈ha:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Davidaz̈ cjijrta Yooz takuqui tuz̈ cjic̈ha:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Jaziqui Davidaqui “chawjc Jiliri” cjichic̈ha Cristuz̈ puntuquiztan. Jalla niz̈tiquiztan ¿jaknuz̈t nii chawjc Jiliri Davidz̈ majchqui cjesajo? —Jalla nuz̈ pewczic̈ha Jesusaqui.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Anaz̈ jecmi kjaazñi atchic̈ha, ana zinta takumi. Jalla nuz̈quiztanpacha ana c̈hjulumi pewczñi atchizakazza iya. Jalla nii orquiztanpacha pecunz eksipanc̈ha nii quintra z̈oñinacaqui.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
