Salmos 35
A Conservative Version (ACV) vs VC
1 Strive thou, O LORD, with those who strive with me. Fight thou against those who fight against me.
1 De Davi. Lutai, Senhor, contra os que me atacam; combatei meus adversários.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
2 Empunhai o broquel e o escudo, e erguei-vos em meu socorro.
3 Draw out the spear also, and stop the way against those who pursue me. Say to my soul, I am thy salvation.
3 Brandi a lança e sustai meus perseguidores. Dizei à minha alma: Eu sou a tua salvação.
4 Let them be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and confounded who devise my hurt.
4 Sejam confundidos e envergonhados os que odeiam a minha vida, recuem humilhados os que tramam minha desgraça.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, and the agent of LORD driving [them] on.
5 Sejam como a palha levada pelo vento, quando o anjo do Senhor vier acossá-los.
6 Let their way be dark and slippery, and the agent of LORD pursuing them.
6 Torne-se tenebroso e escorregadio o seu caminho, quando o anjo do Senhor vier persegui-los,
7 For without cause they have hid their net for me [in] a pit. Without cause have they dug [a pit] for my soul.
7 porquanto sem razão me armaram laços; para me perder, cavaram um fosso sem motivo.
8 Let destruction come upon him unawares, and let his net that he has hid catch himself. Let him fall in it with destruction.
8 Venha sobre eles de improviso a ruína; apanhe-os a rede por eles mesmos preparada, caiam eles próprios na cova que abriram.
9 And my soul shall be joyful in LORD. It shall rejoice in his salvation.
9 Então a minha alma exultará no Senhor, e se alegrará pelo seu auxílio.
10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like thee, who delivers a poor man from him who is too strong for him, yea, a poor and needy man from him who robs him?
10 Todas as minhas potências dirão: Senhor, quem é semelhante a vós? Vós que livrais o desvalido do opressor, o mísero e o pobre de quem os despoja.
11 Unrighteous witnesses rise up, they ask me of things that I know not.
11 Surgiram apaixonadas testemunhas, interrogaram-me sobre faltas que ignoro,
12 They reward me evil for good, [to] the bereaving of my soul.
12 pagaram-me o bem com o mal. Oh, desolação para a minha alma!
13 But as for me, when they were sick my clothing was sackcloth. I afflicted my soul with fasting, and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
13 Contudo, quando eles adoeciam, eu me revestia de saco, extenuava-me em jejuns e rezava.
14 I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother. I bowed down mourning, as he who bewails his mother.
14 Andava triste, como se tivesse perdido um amigo, um irmão; abatido, me vergava como quem chora por sua mãe.
15 But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The wretches gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not. They tore me, and ceased not.
15 Quando tropecei, eles se reuniram para se alegrar; eles me dilaceraram sem parar.
16 Like the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
16 Puseram-me à prova, escarneceram de mim, rangeram os dentes contra mim.
17 LORD, how long will thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
17 Senhor, até quando assistireis impassível a este espetáculo? Arrancai desses leões a minha vida, livrai-me a alma de seus rugidos.
18 I will give thee thanks in the great assembly. I will praise thee among much people.
18 Vou render-vos graças publicamente, eu vos louvarei na presença da multidão.
19 Let not those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me. Neither let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.
19 Não se regozijem de mim meus pérfidos inimigos, nem tramem com os olhos os que me odeiam sem motivo,
20 For they speak not peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.
20 pois nunca têm palavras de paz: e armam ciladas contra a gente tranqüila da terra,
21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.
21 escancaram para mim a boca, dizendo: Ah! Ah! Com os nossos olhos, nós o vimos!
22 Thou have seen it, O LORD. Keep not silence. O LORD, be not far from me.
22 Vós também, Senhor, vistes! Não guardeis silêncio. Senhor, não vos aparteis de mim.
23 Stir up thyself, and awake to the justice to me, to my cause, my God and my LORD.
23 Acordai e levantai-vos para me defender, ó meu Deus e Senhor meu, em prol de minha causa!
24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness, and let them not rejoice over me.
24 Julgai-me, Senhor, segundo vossa justiça. Ó meu Deus, que não se regozijem à minha custa!
25 Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it. Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
25 Não pensem em seus corações: Ah, tivemos sorte! Não digam: Nós o devoramos!
26 Let them be put to shame and confounded together who rejoice at my hurt. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.
26 Sejam confundidos todos juntos e se envergonhem os que se alegram com meus males, cubram-se de pejo e ignomínia os que se levantam orgulhosamente contra mim.
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yea, let them say continually, LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
27 Mas exultem e se alegrem os favoráveis à minha causa e digam sem cessar: Glorificado seja o Senhor, que quis a salvação de seu servo!
28 And my tongue shall talk of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
28 E a minha língua proclamará vossa justiça, dando-vos perpétuos louvores.
