A Conservative Version (ACV) vs BKJ
1 O Israel, return to LORD thy God, for thou have fallen by thine iniquity.
1 Ó Israel, converte-te ao SENHOR teu Deus; porque caíste pela tua iniquidade.
2 Take with you words, and return to LORD. Say to him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good. So we will render [as] bullocks [the offering of] our lips.
2 Tomai convosco palavras, e converte-te ao SENHOR; diz a ele: Tira toda a iniquidade, e nos receba graciosamente; e ofereceremos os novilhos dos nossos lábios.
3 Assyria shall not save us. We will not ride upon horses, nor will we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods. For in thee the fatherless finds mercy.
3 A Assíria não nos salvará; não iremos montados em cavalos, e já não diremos mais à obra das nossas mãos: tu és o nosso deus; porque em ti o órfão encontra misericórdia.
4 I will heal their backsliding. I will love them freely. For my anger is turned away from him.
4 Eu sararei a sua apostasia, eu os amarei voluntariamente; porque a minha ira se apartou dele.
5 I will be as the dew to Israel. He shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
5 Eu serei como o orvalho para Israel. Ele crescerá como o lírio e lançará as suas raízes como o Líbano.
6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
6 Os seus galhos se estenderão, e a sua beleza será como a da oliveira, e o seu perfume como o do Líbano.
7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return. They shall revive [as] the grain, and blossom as the vine. The scent of it shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
7 Os que habitam debaixo da sua sombra retornarão; serão vivificados como o grão, e crescerão como a videira; a sua fama será como o vinho do Líbano.
8 Ephraim [shall say], What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him. I am like a green fir tree. From me thy fruit is found.
8 Efraim dirá: Que mais tenho eu com os ídolos? Eu o tenho ouvido e observado; eu sou como o abeto verde; de mim é achado o teu fruto.
9 Who is wise, that he may understand these things, prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them. But transgressors shall fall therein.
9 Quem é sábio, para que entenda estas coisas? Quem é prudente, para que as saiba? Porque os caminhos do SENHOR são retos, e os justos andarão neles, mas os transgressores neles cairão.
