1 Yesu alonga nawo kwa miliganyo, akagamba.
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Useuta wa kwembingu uligana sa vino. Kwendaga na seuta amdamanyize mwanawe wa chilume nyinka.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Kasigila wandima wakwe wawetange wadya wagonekwe kwe nyika, nawo niyo walemela kwiza.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Ivyo asigila wandima watuhu akagamba, ‘Ngasu yangu yajika, ng'ombe zangu na vinonile vichinjwa kale, na vyose viheza kale. Soni kwe ngasu ye nyinka!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Mna awajeni wagonekwe hawaitolotoze niyo wadamanya zawo, yumwenga kaita kwe nkonde yakwe, mtuhu kwediyombe dyakwe,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 wasigale niyo wawagwila wadya wandima wakwe, wawahuta na kuwakoma.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Yudya seuta niyo ehiwa vidala, egala wankondo wakwe wakomile wadya wakomi na kuutimpa moto umzi wawo.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Akaheza awagamba wandima wakwe, ‘Inyinka yemalanya kale, mna sawo wadya wagonekwe nawo wawagile kudya.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Hitani kwe zisila mpanda muwetange wose mkunga muwabwile weze kwe nyinka.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ivyo wandima waita kwezisila wawachisanya wantu wose wawawone, wehiye na wedi, nyinka niyo yamema wajeni.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Mna seuta eze engile kukaula wajeni, niyo abunkula mntu hevikile suche ye nyinka.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Amuza, ‘Mbuyangu, kwingila vivihi hano hwivikile suche ye nyinka?’ Mna uyo mntu halongile dyodyose.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Niyo seuta awagamba wandima wakwe, ‘Mtalizeni mwe mikono na mweviga, mumdule kuse kwe chiza. Uko naile na kusiginta meno yakwe.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu akomeleza, “Kwaviya wagonekwe ni waloza, mna wasagulwe ni wajeche.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Mafalisayo niyo waita wakaike ubala wa kumgwila Yesu mo ulosi wakwe.

16 Wasigila wanampina wakwe hamwenga na wantu wa Helode. Wagamba, “Mhinyi, chimanya kugamba weye walonga chindedi. Wahinya ichindedi mwe viya akunga Chohile kwa chausa cha wantu, kuno hwikogoha viya watuhu wakufanyanya, kwaviya hukusinya viya mntu eli.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Chigambile, wafanyanya vihi? Ni vyedi mwe sigilizi yetu kuliha kodi kwa mkulu ywa Chilumi hegu bule?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Mna Yesu, niyo amanya ubala wawo wihiye, agamba, “Nyuwe wasongaganyi! Ni mbwani mkunijeza?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Nilagisani hela yo kulihila kodi!”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 awauza, “Sula ne dizina ni vya yuhi?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Wahitula, “Ni vya Mkulu ywa Chilumi,”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Weze weve ivyo, niyo wehelwa, wamleka wahalawa.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Mwe dizuwa idyo Masadukayo wamwenga wamwitila Yesu wakalonga kugamba wantu hawauyuke.

24 Wagamba, “Mhinyi, Musa alongaga kugamba mntu hena mwana akabanika, mlukolo ywakwe ampale mnamuwe, chani amwelekele wana.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Haluse, kwendaga na walukolo mfungate. Ywankongo asolaga, niyo abanika. Kwaviya na hena cheleko, niyo amwasiza mlukolo ywakwe mkaziwe.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Chintu icho kimlaila ywa kaidi na ywa katatu, vita ivyo kubula ywa mfungate.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ko uhelo yudya mvyele niyo abanika.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Haluse chigambe mwe dizuwa dyo uyuso, mvyele yudya na atende wa yuhi? Woseni nawamsola.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu awahitula, “Mwagilisa! Nikwaviya hamyamanize mawandiko hegu nguvu za Chohile.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kwaviya mwe zuwa dya uyuso wantu, hawasole hegu kusolwa, nawekale saviya wandima wa kwembingu.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Mna mwe wabanike uyuso, hamsomile viya Chohile awagambilaga?,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Miye nuyo Chohile ywa Bulahimu, nuyo ywa Isaka, naho nuyo ywa Yakobo.’ Ni Chohile ywa wajima, suyo ywa wabanike.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Idifyo dya awantu dize dive vino, wehelwa amahinyo yakwe.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Mafalisayo weze weve kugamba Yesu kawatenda Masadukayo wanyamale waswese dya kulonga, Mafalisayo niyo wekala hamwenga,
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 yumwenga mwawo, mhinya Sigilizi, amjeza Yesu kwa kumuza.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Amuza, “Mhinyi, Isigilizi nkulu ni ihi?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu ahitula, “ ‘Munge Zumbe Chohile ywako kwa moyo wako wose, kwa ujima wako wose, na kwa umanyi wako woseni.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ino niyo Isigilizi inkulu naho niyo yankongo.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Sigilizi ya kaidi ya kusinyisa sa iyo, ‘Munge mtuhu saviya ukweunga mwenye.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Sigilizi yose ya Musa na mawandiko ya wawoni ikala mwe zisigilizi mbili zino.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Umo Mafalisayo wamwenga weze wadugane, Yesu niyo awauza,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Mwafanyanya vihi mwa Kulisito Mkombola? Kalaila mo ulukolo lwa yuhi?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu auza, “Ni mbwani naho, Muye wa Chohile ukamwingila Daudi kumwitanga ‘Zumbe’? Daudi agambaga,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Zumbe alongaga kwa Zumbe ywangu.
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Uneva haluse Daudi kamwitanga ‘Zumbe’, Kulisito Mkombozi atenda vivihi mlukolo ywa Daudi?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Hahalaile adahile kumhitula Yesu, kulaila mwe dizuwa idyo, hahali ajezize kumuza naho.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
