1 And I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, a flying roll.
1 Então me virei, levantei os meu olhos, e olhei; e eis que vi um rolo voador.
2 And he saith unto me, `What art thou seeing?` And I say, `I am seeing a flying roll, its length twenty by the cubit, and its breadth ten by the cubit.`
2 E ele me disse: O que vês? E eu respondi: Eu vejo um rolo voador; o seu comprimento é de vinte côvados, e sua largura de dez côvados.
3 And he saith unto me, `This [is] the execration that is going forth over the face of all the land, for every one who is stealing, on the one side, according to it, hath been declared innocent, and every one who hath sworn, on the other side, according to it, hath been declared innocent.
3 Então disse-me: Esta é a maldição que avança pela face de toda a terra; pois todo aquele que rouba será cortado conforme está de um lado, e todo aquele que jura será cortado conforme está do outro lado.
4 `I have brought it out -- an affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts -- and it hath come in unto the house of the thief, and unto the house of him who hath sworn in My name to a falsehood, and it hath remained in the midst of his house, and hath consumed it, both its wood and its stones.`
4 Eu a farei sair, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos, e ela entrará na casa do ladrão, e na casa daquele que jurar falsamente pelo meu nome; e permanecerá no meio da sua casa, e a consumirá juntamente com a sua madeira e com as suas pedras.
5 And the messenger who is speaking with me goeth forth, and saith unto me, `Lift up, I pray thee, thine eyes, and see what [is] this that is coming forth?`
5 Então o anjo que falava comigo saiu, e disse-me: Levanta agora os teus olhos, e vê o que é isto que sai.
6 And I say, `What [is] it?` And he saith, `This -- the ephah that is coming forth.` And he saith, `This [is] their aspect in all the land.
6 E eu disse: O que é isto? E ele disse: Isto é um efa que sai. Ele disse ainda: Este é o seu aspecto em toda a terra.
7 And lo, a cake of lead lifted up; and this [is] a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.`
7 E eis que foi levantado um talento de chumbo; e isto é uma mulher que se assenta no meio do efa.
8 And he saith, `This [is] the wicked woman.` And he casteth her unto the midst of the ephah, and casteth the weight of lead on its mouth.
8 E ele disse: Esta é a perversidade. E a lançou dentro do meio do efa; e lançou o peso de chumbo sobre a boca deste.
9 And I lift up mine eyes, and see, and lo, two women are coming forth, and wind in their wings; and they have wings like wings of the stork, and they lift up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.
9 Então levantei os meus olhos, e olhei, e vi que saíram duas mulheres, e o vento estava nas suas asas, pois tinham asas como as de uma cegonha; e levantaram o efa entre a terra e o céu.
10 And I say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, `Whither [are] they causing the ephah to go?`
10 Então eu disse ao anjo que falava comigo: Para onde elas levam o efa?
11 And he saith unto me, `To build to it a house in the land of Shinar.` And it hath been prepared and hath been placed there on its base.
11 E ele me disse: Para lhe edificarem uma casa na terra de Sinar; e ela será estabelecida, e ele será colocado sobre a base dela.
