¹ A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.

¹ Um Salmo. Ó cantai ao SENHOR uma nova canção; pois ele fez coisas maravilhosas; sua mão direita, e o seu santo braço, lhe deram a vitória.

² Jehovah hath made known His salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, He hath revealed His righteousness,

² O SENHOR fez conhecida a sua salvação; ele mostrou abertamente a sua justiça à vista dos pagãos.

³ He hath remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All ends of earth have seen the salvation of our God.

³ Ele lembrou sua misericórdia e sua verdade à casa de Israel; todos os confins da terra viram a salvação do nosso Deus.

⁴ Shout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.

⁴ Fazei um barulho alegre ao SENHOR, toda a terra; fazei um barulho alto, regozijai-vos e cantai louvores.

⁵ Sing to Jehovah with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,

⁵ Cantai ao SENHOR com a harpa; com a harpa, e a voz de um salmo.

⁶ With trumpets, and voice of a cornet, Shout ye before the king Jehovah.

⁶ Com trombetas e som de cornetas fazei um barulho alegre diante do SENHOR, o Rei.

⁷ Roar doth the sea and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

⁷ Ruja o mar e a sua plenitude; o mundo e aqueles que nele habitam.

⁸ Floods clap hand, together hills cry aloud,

⁸ Que as enchentes batam suas palmas; que os montes se alegrem juntos.

⁹ Before Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth, He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the people in uprightness!

⁹ Perante o SENHOR; pois ele vem para julgar a terra; com justiça ele julgará o mundo, e os povos com equidade.
