¹ And Joshua is old, entering into days, and Jehovah saith unto him, `Thou hast become aged, thou hast entered into days; as to the land, very much hath been left to possess.

¹ Ora, Josué era velho e acometido pelos anos; e o SENHOR lhe disse: Tu és velho e acometido pelos anos, e ainda resta muitíssima terra para ser possuída.

² `This [is] the land that is left; all the circuits of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

² Esta é a terra que ainda permanece: todos os limites dos filisteus, e toda a Gesur,

³ from Sihor which [is] on the front of Egypt, and unto the border of Ekron northward, to the Canaanite it is reckoned, five princes of the Philistines, the Gazathite, and the Ashdothite, the Eshkalonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite, also the Avim.

³ de Sior, que está diante do Egito, até os limites de Ecrom, em direção norte, que é considerada dos cananeus; cinco senhores dos filisteus, os gazitas, e os asdoditas, os ascalonitas, os gititas, e os ecronitas; também os aveus;

⁴ `From the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah, which [is] to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, unto the border of the Amorite;

⁴ desde o sul, toda a terra dos cananeus, e Meara que está ao lado dos sidônios, até Afeque, aos limites dos amorreus;

⁵ and the land of the Giblite, and all Lebanon, at the sun-rising, from Baal-Gad under mount Hermon, unto the going in to Hamath:

⁵ e a terra dos gebalitas e todo o Líbano, em direção a nascente do sol, desde Baal-Gade, debaixo do monte Hermom até a entrada de Hamate.

⁶ all the inhabitants of the hill-country, from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-Maim, all the Sidonians: I -- I dispossess them before the sons of Israel; only, cause it to fall to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

⁶ Todos os habitantes da região alta, desde o Líbano, até Misrefote-Maim, e todos os sidônios, eu os expulsarei de diante dos filhos de Israel; basta dividi-la em porções aos israelitas, por herança, tal como eu te ordenei.

⁷ `And now, apportion this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh,` --

⁷ Agora, portanto, divide esta terra por herança para as nove tribos, e para a meia tribo de Manassés.

⁸ with it the Reubenite, and the Gadite, have received their inheritance, which Moses hath given to them beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses servant of Jehovah hath given to them;

⁸ Com as quais os rubenitas e os gaditas receberam a sua herança, que Moisés lhes deu, além do Jordão em direção leste, como Moisés, o servo do SENHOR lhes deu;

⁹ from Aroer, which [is] on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which [is] in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dihon,

⁹ desde Aroer, que está na margem do rio Arnom, e a cidade que está no meio do rio, e toda a planície de Medeba até Dibom;

¹⁰ and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the Bene-Ammon,

¹⁰ e todas as cidades de Seom, rei dos amorreus, que reinaram em Hesbom, até os limites dos filhos de Amom;

¹¹ and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurite, and of the Maachathite, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

¹¹ e Gileade, e os limites dos gesureus e dos maacateus, e todo o monte Hermom, e toda a Basã até Salca;

¹² all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei; he was left of the remnant of the Rephaim, and Moses doth smite them, and dispossess them;

¹² todo o reino de Ogue em Basã, que reinou em Astarote e em Edrei, que restou do remanescente dos gigantes; pois estes Moisés feriu, e os expulsou.

¹³ and the sons of Israel dispossessed not the Geshurite, and the Maachathite; and Geshur and Maachath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

¹³ Contudo, os filhos de Israel não expulsaram os gesureus, nem os maacateus; mas os gesureus e os maacateus habitam no meio dos Israelitas até este dia.

¹⁴ Only, to the tribe of Levi he hath not given an inheritance; fire-offerings of Jehovah, God of Israel, is its inheritance, as He hath spoken to it.

¹⁴ Somente à tribo de Levi ele não deu herança alguma; os sacrifícios do SENHOR, Deus de Israel, feitos ao fogo são a sua herança, conforme ele lhes declarou.

¹⁵ And Moses giveth to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, for their families;

¹⁵ E Moisés deu à tribo dos filhos de Rúben, uma herança segundo as suas famílias.

¹⁶ and the border is to them from Aroer, which [is] on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which [is] in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba,

¹⁶ E o seu termo foi desde Aroer, que está na margem do rio Arnom, e a cidade que está no meio do rio, e toda a planície de Medeba;

¹⁷ Heshbon, and all its cities which [are] in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-Meon,

¹⁷ Hesbom, e todas as suas cidades que estão na planície: Dibom, e Bamote-Baal, e Bete-Baal-Meom,

¹⁸ and Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

¹⁸ e Jaza, e Quedemote, e Mefaate,

¹⁹ and Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-Shahar, in the mount of the valley,

¹⁹ e Quiriataim, e Sibma, e Zerete-Saar, no monte do vale,

²⁰ and Beth-Peor, and the springs of Pisgah, and Beth-Jeshimoth,

²⁰ e Bete-Peor, e Asdote-Pisga, e Bete-Jesimote,

²¹ and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote, with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, princes of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.

²¹ e todas as cidades da planície, e todo o reino de Seom, rei dos amorreus, que reinou em Hesbom, ao qual Moisés feriu, com os príncipes de Midiã, Evi, e Requém, e Zur, e Hur, e Reba, os quais eram xeiques de Seom, habitantes da região.

²² And Balaam, son of Beor, the diviner, have the sons of Israel slain with the sword, among their wounded ones.

²² Também os filhos de Israel mataram à espada Balaão, filho de Beor, o adivinho, que estava dentre os que foram mortos por eles.

²³ And the border of the sons of Reuben is the Jordan, and [its] border; this [is] the inheritance of the sons of Reuben, for their families, the cities and their villages.

²³ E os limites dos filhos de Rúben eram o Jordão e os seus limites. Esta foi a herança dos filhos de Rúben, segundo as suas famílias, suas cidades e aldeias.

²⁴ And Moses giveth to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, for their families;

²⁴ E Moisés deu herança à tribo de Gade, aos filhos de Gade segundo as suas famílias.

²⁵ and the border is to them Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and the half of the land of the Bene-Ammon, unto Aroer which [is] on the front of Rabbah,

²⁵ E o seu termo era Jazer, e todas as cidades de Gileade, e a metade da terra dos filhos de Amom, até Aroer que está diante de Rabá;

²⁶ and from Heshbon unto Ramath-Mispeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

²⁶ e desde Hesbom até Ramate-Mispá e Betonim, e de Maanaim até os termos de Debir;

²⁷ and in the valley, Beth-Aram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and [its] border, unto the extremity of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan, eastward.

²⁷ e no vale, Bete-Arã, e Bete-Ninra, e Sucote, e Zafom, e o restante do reino de Seom, rei de Hesbom, Jordão e o seu termo, até a beira do Mar de Quinerete, no outro lado do Jordão, na direção leste.

²⁸ This [is] the inheritance of the sons of Gad, for their families, the cities and their villages.

²⁸ Esta é a herança dos filhos de Gade, segundo as suas famílias, cidades e aldeias.

²⁹ And Moses giveth to the half of the tribe of Manasseh; and it is to the half of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, for their families.

²⁹ E Moisés deu herança para a meia tribo de Manassés; e esta foi a possessão da meia tribo dos filhos de Manassés, segundo as suas famílias.

³⁰ And their border is from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the small towns of Jair, which [are] in Bashan, sixty cities;

³⁰ E o seu termo era desde Maanaim, todo o Basã, todo o reino de Ogue, rei de Basã, e todas as aldeias de Jair, que estão em Basã, sessenta cidades;

³¹ and the half of Gilead, and Ashteroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, [are] to the sons of Machir, son of Manasseh, to the half of the sons of Machir, for their families.

³¹ e a metade de Gileade, e Astarote, e Edrei, cidades do reino de Ogue em Basã, eram pertencentes aos filhos de Maquir, o filho de Manassés, à metade dos filhos de Maquir, segundo as suas famílias.

³² These [are] they whom Moses caused to inherit in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, [by] Jericho, eastward;

³² Estas são as regiões que Moisés distribuiu por herança nas planícies de Moabe, no outro lado do Jordão, junto a Jericó, na direção leste.

³³ and to the tribe of Levi Moses gave not an inheritance; Jehovah, God of Israel, Himself [is] their inheritance, as He hath spoken to them.

³³ Mas para a tribo de Levi, Moisés não deu herança alguma; o SENHOR, Deus de Israel, era a sua herança, conforme ele lhes dissera.
