1 A son of twelve years [is] Manasseh in his reigning, and fifty and five years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hephzi-Bah;
1 Manassés tinha doze anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou cinquenta e cinco anos em Jerusalém. E o nome da sua mãe era Hefzibá.
2 and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel,
2 E ele fez aquilo que era mau à vista do SENHOR, segundo as abominações dos pagãos, os quais o SENHOR expulsou de diante dos filhos de Israel.
3 and he turneth and buildeth the high places that Hezekiah his father destroyed, and raiseth altars for Baal, and maketh a shrine, as did Ahab king of Israel, and boweth himself to all the host of the heavens, and serveth them.
3 Porque ele voltou a edificar os lugares altos, os quais Ezequias, o seu pai, havia destruído; e ergueu altares para Baal, e fez um bosque, como fez Acabe, rei de Israel, e adorou todo o exército do céu, e os serviu.
4 And he hath built altars in the house of Jehovah, of which Jehovah said, `In Jerusalem I put My name.`
4 E ele edificou altares na casa do SENHOR, da qual o SENHOR disse: Em Jerusalém colocarei o meu nome.
5 And he buildeth altars to all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Jehovah;
5 E ele edificou altares para toda a hoste do céu nos dois pátios da casa do SENHOR.
6 and he hath caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he hath multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah -- to provoke to anger.
6 E ele fez o seu filho passar pelo fogo, e observou tempos, e usou encantamentos, e lidou com espíritos familiares e feiticeiros; ele operou muita iniquidade à vista do SENHOR, para provocá-lo à ira.
7 And he setteth the graven image of the shrine that he made in the house of which Jehovah said unto David and unto Solomon his son, `In this house, and in Jerusalem, that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I put My name -- to the age;
7 E ele colocou uma imagem esculpida do bosque que tinha feito, na casa da qual o SENHOR dissera a Davi e a Salomão, o seu filho: Nesta casa e em Jerusalém, a qual eu tenho escolhido de todas as tribos de Israel, colocarei o meu nome para todo o sempre;
8 and I do not add to cause the foot of Israel to move from the ground that I gave to their fathers, only, if they observe to do according to all that I commanded them, and to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.`
8 tampouco farei com que os pés de Israel se movam novamente para além da terra que eu dei aos seus pais; apenas que eles observem para fazer de acordo com tudo o que eu lhes tenho ordenado, e segundo toda a lei que o meu servo Moisés lhes ordenou.
9 And they have not hearkened, and Manasseh causeth them to err, to do the evil thing above the nations that Jehovah destroyed from the presence of the sons of Israel.
9 Porém, eles não atentaram; e Manassés lhes seduziu a fazerem mais mal do que faziam as nações as quais o SENHOR destruiu diante dos filhos de Israel.
10 And Jehovah speaketh by the hand of his servants the prophets, saying,
10 E o SENHOR falou pelos seus servos, os profetas, dizendo:
11 `Because that Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations -- he hath done evil above all that the Amorites have done who [are] before him, and causeth also Judah to sin by his idols;
11 Como Manassés, rei de Judá, tem cometido estas abominações, e tem agido iniquamente acima de tudo o que fizeram os amorreus, os quais estavam antes dele, e também tem feito Judá pecar com os seus ídolos;
12 therefore thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, Lo, I am bringing in evil on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever heareth of it, tingle do his two ears.
12 portanto, assim diz o SENHOR Deus de Israel: Eis que estou trazendo tal maldade sobre Jerusalém e Judá, para que todo aquele que ouça sobre isso, ambos os seus ouvidos estremecerão.
13 And I have stretched out over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and wiped Jerusalem as one wipeth the dish -- he hath wiped, and hath turned [it] on its face.
13 E eu estenderei sobre Jerusalém a linha de Samaria, e o prumo da casa de Acabe; e eu esfregarei Jerusalém como um homem esfrega um prato, esfregando-o, e virando-o de cabeça para baixo.
14 `And I have left the remnant of Mine inheritance, and given them into the hand of their enemies, and they have been for a prey and for a spoil to all their enemies,
14 E eu abandonarei o remanescente da minha herança, e os entregarei na mão dos seus inimigos; e eles se tornarão presa e despojo para todos os seus inimigos;
15 because that they have done the evil thing in Mine eyes, and are provoking Me to anger from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt, even unto this day.`
15 porque têm feito aquilo que era mau à minha vista, e me provocado à ira, desde o dia em que os seus pais saíram do Egito, até este dia.
16 And also, innocent blood hath Manasseh shed very much, till that he hath filled Jerusalem -- mouth to mouth; apart from his sin that he hath caused Judah to sin, to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah.
16 Além disso, Manassés derramou muitíssimo sangue inocente, até que encheu Jerusalém de uma extremidade a outra; fora o seu pecado, com o qual fez Judá pecar, aquilo que era mau à vista do SENHOR.
17 And the rest of the matters of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?
17 Ora, o restante dos atos de Manassés, e tudo o que ele fez, e os pecados que cometeu, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Judá?
18 And Manasseh lieth with his fathers, and is buried in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzza, and reign doth Amon his son in his stead.
18 E Manassés dormiu com os seus pais, e foi sepultado no jardim da sua própria casa, no jardim de Uzá; e Amom, o seu filho, reinou no seu lugar.
19 A son of twenty and two years [is] Amon in his reigning, and two years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz of Jotbah,
19 Amom tinha vinte e dois anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e ele reinou dois anos em Jerusalém. E o nome da sua mãe era Mesulemete, a filha de Haruz de Jotbá.
20 and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, as did Manasseh his father,
20 E ele fez aquilo que era mau à vista do SENHOR, como o seu pai, Manassés, fez.
21 and walketh in all the way that his father walked in, and serveth the idols that his father served, and boweth himself to them,
21 E ele andou em todo o caminho que o seu pai andou, e serviu os ídolos que o seu pai serviu, e os adorou;
22 and forsaketh Jehovah, God of his fathers, and hath not walked in the way of Jehovah.
22 e ele abandonou o SENHOR Deus dos seus pais, e não andou no caminho do SENHOR.
23 And the servants of Amon conspire against him, and put the king to death in his own house,
23 E os servos de Amom conspiraram contra ele, e mataram o rei na sua própria casa.
24 and the people of the land smite all those conspiring against king Amon, and the people of the land cause Josiah his son to reign in his stead.
24 E o povo da terra matou todos aqueles que haviam conspirado contra o rei Amom; e o povo da terra fez de Josias, o seu filho, rei no seu lugar.
25 And the rest of the matters of Amon that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?
25 Ora, o restante dos atos de Amom, os quais ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Judá?
26 and [one] burieth him in his burying-place in the garden of Uzza, and reign doth Josiah his son in his stead.
26 E ele foi sepultado no seu sepulcro, no jardim de Uzá; e Josias, o seu filho, reinou no seu lugar.
