1 Now the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem. And the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities.
1 E os príncipes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém, mas o resto do povo lançou sortes para tirar um de dez, para que habitasse na santa cidade de Jerusalém, e as nove partes, nas outras cidades.
2 And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
2 E o povo bendisse a todos os homens que voluntariamente se ofereciam para habitar em Jerusalém.
3 These are the heads of the province who dwelt in Jerusalem. (But in the cities of Judah everyone dwelt in his own possession in their cities; Israelites, priests, Levites, temple slaves, and sons of Solomons servants.)
3 E estes são os chefes da província que habitaram em Jerusalém (porém nas cidades de Judá habitou cada um na sua possessão, nas suas cidades, a saber, Israel, os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os netineus, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão).
4 Also in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin. The sons of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;
4 Habitaram, pois, em Jerusalém alguns dos filhos de Judá e dos filhos de Benjamim. Dos filhos de Judá: Ataías, filho de Uzias, filho de Zacarias, filho de Amarias, filho de Sefatias, filho de Maalalel, dos filhos de Perez;
5 and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-Hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
5 e Maaseias, filho de Baruque, filho de Col-Hozé, filho de Hazaías, filho de Adaías, filho de Joiaribe, filho de Zacarias, filho do silonita.
6 All the sons of Perez who dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men.
6 Todos os filhos de Perez, que habitaram em Jerusalém, foram quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.
7 And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah;
7 E estes são os filhos de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulão, filho de Joede, filho de Pedaías, filho de Colaías, filho de Maaseias, filho de Itiel, filho de Jesaías.
8 and after him Gabbai and Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight.
8 E, depois dele, Gabai e Salai: novecentos e vinte e oito.
9 Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer, and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.
9 E Joel, filho de Zicri, superintendente sobre eles; e Judá, filho de Senua, segundo sobre a cidade.
10 Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, and Jachin;

11 Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.

12 Their brethren who did the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah,
12 e seus irmãos, que faziam a obra da casa, oitocentos e vinte e dois; e Adaías, filho de Jeroão, filho de Pelalias, filho de Anzi, filho de Zacarias, filho de Pasur, filho de Malquias,
13 and his brethren, heads of the fathers, were two hundred and forty-two; and Amashai the son of Azarel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
13 e seus irmãos, cabeças dos pais, duzentos e quarenta e dois; e Amasai, filho de Azarel, filho de Azai, filho de Mesilemote, filho de Imer,
14 and their brethren, mighty men of valor, were one hundred and twenty-eight. Their overseer was Zabdiel the son of one of the great men.
14 e os irmãos deles, varões valentes, cento e vinte e oito, e superintendente sobre eles Zabdiel, filho de Gedolim.
15 Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
15 E dos levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube, filho de Azricão, filho de Hasabias, filho de Buni;
16 Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the heads of the Levites, had the oversight of the business outside of the house of God;
16 e Sabetai e Jozabade, dos cabeças dos levitas, presidiam sobre a obra de fora da Casa de Deus;
17 Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, the leader who began the thanksgiving with prayer; Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
17 e Matanias, filho de Mica, filho de Zabdi, filho de Asafe, o chefe, que era quem começava a dar graças na oração, e Baquebuquias, o segundo de seus irmãos; depois, Abda, filho de Samua, filho de Galal, filho de Jedutum.
18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.
18 Todos os levitas na santa cidade foram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.
19 Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who kept the gates, were one hundred and seventy-two.
19 E os porteiros: Acube, Talmom, com seus irmãos, os guardas das portas, cento e setenta e dois.
20 And the rest of Israel, of the priests and Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.
20 E o resto de Israel, dos sacerdotes e levitas, esteve em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua herdade.
21 But the temple slaves dwelt in Ophel. And Ziha and Gishpa were over the temple slaves.

22 Also the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha, of the sons of Asaph, the singers who were over the service of the house of God.
22 E o superintendente dos levitas em Jerusalém foi Uzi, filho de Bani, filho de Hasabias, filho de Matanias, filho de Mica, dos filhos de Asafe, os cantores, ao serviço da Casa de Deus.
23 For it was the kings command concerning them that there should be financial support for the singers, a quota for each day.
23 Porque havia um mandado do rei acerca deles, a saber, uma certa porção para os cantores, cada qual no seu dia.
24 Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the kings hand in all matters concerning the people.
24 E Petaías, filho de Mesezabel, dos filhos de Zerá, filho de Judá, estava à mão do rei, em todos os negócios do povo.
25 And as for the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt in Kirjath Arba and its villages, Dibon and its villages, Jekabzeel and its villages;
25 E, quanto às aldeias, com as suas terras, alguns dos filhos de Judá habitaram em Quiriate-Arba e nos lugares da sua jurisdição; e em Dibom e nos lugares da sua jurisdição; e em Jecabzeel e nas suas aldeias,
26 in Jeshua, Moladah, Beth Pelet,
26 e em Jesua, e em Molada, e em Bete-Palete,
27 Hazar Shual, and Beer-sheba and its villages;
27 e em Hasar-Sual, e em Berseba, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição;
28 in Ziklag and Mekonah and its villages;
28 e em Ziclague, e em Mecona, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição;
29 in En Rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,
29 e em En-Rimom, e em Zorá, e em Jarmute;
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages; in Lachish and its fields; in Azekah and its villages. They dwelt from Beer-sheba to the Valley of Hinnom.
30 em Zanoa, Adulão e nas suas aldeias; em Laquis e nas suas terras; em Azeca e nos lugares da sua jurisdição. E acamparam-se desde Berseba até ao vale de Hinom.
31 Also the children of Benjamin from Geba dwelt in Michmash, Aija, and Bethel, and their villages;
31 E os filhos de Benjamim, de Geba, habitaram em Micmás, e Aia, e Betel, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição;
32 in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;
32 e em Anatote, em Nobe, em Ananias,
33 in Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;
33 em Hazor, em Ramá, em Gitaim,
34 in Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;
34 em Hadide, em Zeboim, em Nebalate,
35 in Lod, Ono, and the Valley of Craftsmen.
35 em Lode e em Ono, no vale dos Artífices.
36 Some of the divisions of the Levites of Judah were in Benjamin.
36 E alguns dos levitas habitaram nos repartimentos de Judá e de Benjamim.
