1 Moreover David and the commanders of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, for prophesying with harps, lutes, and cymbals. And the number of the skilled men performing their service,
1 O rei Davi e os líderes dos levitas escolheram os seguintes grupos de famílias de levitas para dirigirem os cultos de adoração: Asafe, Hemã e Jedutum. 4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
4 Os catorze filhos de Hemã: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-Ézer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir e Maaziote.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the kings seer in the Words of God, to exalt his horn; for God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, under the hand of the king: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
6 Todos os seus filhos cantavam nos serviços religiosos do Templo, tocando pratos, liras e harpas. Quem os dirigia era o pai. Asafe, Jedutum e Hemã estavam debaixo das ordens do rei.
