1 The title of the `thre and twentithe salm. The song of Dauid. The erthe and the fulnesse therof is `the Lordis; the world, and alle that dwellen therynne `is the Lordis.
1 O Senhor é o meu pastor; de nada terei falta.
2 For he foundide it on the sees; and made it redi on floodis.
2 Em verdes pastagens me faz repousar e me conduz a águas tranqüilas;
3 Who schal stie in to the hil of the Lord; ethir who schal stonde in the hooli place of hym?
3 restaura-me o vigor. Guia-me nas veredas da justiça por amor do seu nome.
4 The innocent in hondis, and in cleene herte; whiche took not his soule in veyn, nether swoor in gile to his neiybore.
4 Mesmo quando eu andar por um vale de trevas e morte, não temerei perigo algum, pois tu estás comigo; a tua vara e o teu cajado me protegem.
5 `This man schal take blessyng of the Lord; and mercy of God his helthe.
5 Preparas um banquete para mim à vista dos meus inimigos. Tu me honras, ungindo a minha cabeça com óleo e fazendo transbordar o meu cálice.
6 This is the generacioun of men sekynge hym; of men sekynge the face of God of Jacob.
6 Sei que a bondade e a fidelidade me acompanharão todos os dias da minha vida, e voltarei à casa do Senhor enquanto eu viver.
