John Wycliffe Bible (WYCLIFFE) vs ARA
1 And now, A! ye preestis, this maundement is to you.
1 Agora, ó sacerdotes, para vós outros é este mandamento.
2 If ye wolen here, and if ye `wolen not putte on the herte, that ye yyue glorie to my name, seith the Lord of oostis, Y schal sende nedynesse in to you, and Y schal curse to youre blessyngis; and Y schal curse hem, for ye han not putte on the herte.
2 Se o não ouvirdes e se não propuserdes no vosso coração dar honra ao meu nome, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, enviarei sobre vós a maldição e amaldiçoarei as vossas bênçãos; já as tenho amaldiçoado, porque vós não propondes isso no coração.
3 Lo! Y schal caste to you the arm, and Y schal scatere on youre cheere the drit of youre solempnytees, and it schal take you with it.
3 Eis que vos reprovarei a descendência, atirarei excremento ao vosso rosto, excremento dos vossos sacrifícios, e para junto deste sereis levados.
4 And ye schulen wite, that Y sente to you this maundement, that my couenaunt were with Leuy, seith the Lord of oostis.
4 Então, sabereis que eu vos enviei este mandamento, para que a minha aliança continue com Levi, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
5 My couenaunt was with hym of lijf and pees; and Y yaf to hym a drede, and he dredde me, and he dredde of face of my name.
5 Minha aliança com ele foi de vida e de paz; ambas lhe dei eu para que me temesse; com efeito, ele me temeu e tremeu por causa do meu nome.
6 The lawe of trewthe was in his mouth, and wickidnesse was not foundun in hise lippis; in pees and in equite he walkide with me, and he turnede awei many men fro wickidnesse.
6 A verdadeira instrução esteve na sua boca, e a injustiça não se achou nos seus lábios; andou comigo em paz e em retidão e da iniquidade apartou a muitos.
7 For the lippis of a prest kepen science, and thei schulen ayen seke the lawe of `the mouth of hym, for he is an aungel of the Lord of oostes.
7 Porque os lábios do sacerdote devem guardar o conhecimento, e da sua boca devem os homens procurar a instrução, porque ele é mensageiro do Senhor dos Exércitos.
8 But ye wenten awei fro the weie, and sclaundren ful many men in the lawe; ye maden voide the couenaunt of Leuy, seith the Lord of oostis.
8 Mas vós vos tendes desviado do caminho e, por vossa instrução, tendes feito tropeçar a muitos; violastes a aliança de Levi, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
9 For which thing and Y yaf you worthi to be dispisid, and bowen to alle puplis, as ye kepten not my weies, and token a face in the lawe.
9 Por isso, também eu vos fiz desprezíveis e indignos diante de todo o povo, visto que não guardastes os meus caminhos e vos mostrastes parciais no aplicardes a lei.
10 Whether not o fadir is of alle you? whether o God made not of nouyt you? Whi therfor ech of you dispisith his brother, and defoulith the couenaunt of youre fadris?
10 Não temos nós todos o mesmo Pai? Não nos criou o mesmo Deus? Por que seremos desleais uns para com os outros, profanando a aliança de nossos pais?
11 Judas trespasside, and abhomynacioun is maad in Israel, and in Jerusalem; for Judas defoulide the halewyng of the Lord, which he louyde, and he hadde the douyter of an alien god.
11 Judá tem sido desleal, e abominação se tem cometido em Israel e em Jerusalém; porque Judá profanou o santuário do Senhor , o qual ele ama, e se casou com adoradora de deus estranho.
12 The Lord schal distrie the man that dide this thing, the maister and disciple, fro the tabernacle of Jacob, and him that offrith a yifte to the Lord of oostis.
12 O Senhor eliminará das tendas de Jacó o homem que fizer tal, seja quem for, e o que apresenta ofertas ao Senhor dos Exércitos.
13 And eftsoone ye diden this thing; ye hiliden with teeris the auter of the Lord, with wepyng and mourenyng; so that Y biholde no more to sacrifice, nether resseyue ony thing plesaunt of youre hond.
13 Ainda fazeis isto: cobris o altar do Senhor de lágrimas, de choro e de gemidos, de sorte que ele já não olha para a oferta, nem a aceita com prazer da vossa mão.
14 And ye seiden, For what cause? For the Lord witnesside bitwixe thee and the wijf of thi `puberte, that is, tyme of mariage, which thou dispisidist, and this is thi felowe, and wijf of thi couenaunt.
14 E perguntais: Por quê? Porque o Senhor foi testemunha da aliança entre ti e a mulher da tua mocidade, com a qual tu foste desleal, sendo ela a tua companheira e a mulher da tua aliança.
15 Whether oon made not, and residue of spirit is his? and what sekith oon, no but the seed of God? Therfore kepe ye youre spirit, and nyle thou dispise the wijf of thi yongthe;
15 Não fez o Senhor um, mesmo que havendo nele um pouco de espírito? E por que somente um? Ele buscava a descendência que prometera. Portanto, cuidai de vós mesmos, e ninguém seja infiel para com a mulher da sua mocidade.
16 whanne thou hatist hir, leue thou hir, seith the Lord God of Israel. Forsothe wickidnesse schal kyuere the closyng of hym, seith the Lord of oostis; kepe ye youre spirit, and nyle ye dispise.
16 Porque o Senhor , Deus de Israel, diz que odeia o repúdio e também aquele que cobre de violência as suas vestes, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos; portanto, cuidai de vós mesmos e não sejais infiéis.
17 Ye maden the Lord for to trauele in youre wordis, and ye seiden, Wherynne maden we hym for to trauele? In that that ye seien, Ech man that doith yuel, is good in the siyt of the Lord, and siche plesen to hym; ether certis where is the God of doom?
17 Enfadais o Senhor com vossas palavras; e ainda dizeis: Em que o enfadamos? Nisto, que pensais: Qualquer que faz o mal passa por bom aos olhos do Senhor , e desses é que ele se agrada; ou: Onde está o Deus do juízo?
