1 And it was don in that yeer, in the bigynnyng of the rewme of Sedechie, kyng of Juda, in the fourthe yeer, in the fyuethe monethe, Ananye, the sone of Azur, a profete of Gabaon, seide to me in the hous of the Lord, bifor the preestis, and al the puple,
1 No quinto mês daquele mesmo ano, o quarto ano, no início do reinado de Zedequias, rei de Judá, Hananias, filho de Azur, profeta natural de Gibeom, disse-me no templo do Senhor, na presença dos sacerdotes e de todo o povo:
2 `and seide, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue al to-broke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.
2 "Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel: ‘Quebrarei o jugo do rei da Babilônia.
3 Yit twei yeeris of daies ben, and Y schal make to be brouyt ayen to this place alle the vessels of the Lord, whiche Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, took fro this place, and translatide tho in to Babiloyne.
3 Em dois anos trarei de volta a este lugar todos os utensílios do templo do Senhor que Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, tirou daqui e levou para a Babilônia.
4 And Y schal turne to this place, seith the Lord, Jeconye, the sone of Joachym, the kyng of Juda, and al the passyng ouer of Juda, that entriden in to Babiloyne; for Y schal al to-breke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.
4 Também trarei de volta para este lugar Joaquim, filho de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, e todos os exilados de Judá que foram para a Babilônia’, diz o Senhor, ‘pois quebrarei o jugo do rei da Babilônia’ ".
5 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, bifore the iyen of preestis, and bifore the iyen of al the puple that stoden in the hous of the Lord.
5 Então o profeta Jeremias respondeu ao profeta Hananias diante dos sacerdotes e de todo o povo que estava no templo do Senhor:
6 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, Amen! so do the Lord; the Lord reise thi wordis whiche thou profesiedist, that the vessels be brouyt ayen in to the hous of the Lord, and al the passyng ouer fro Babiloyne, to this place.
6 "Amém! Que assim faça o Senhor! Que o Senhor cumpra as palavras que você profetizou, trazendo os utensílios do templo do Senhor e todos os exilados da Babilônia para este lugar.
7 Netheles here thou this word, which Y speke in thin eeris, and in the eeris of al the puple.
7 Entretanto, ouça o que tenho a dizer a você e a todo o povo:
8 Profetis that weren bifore me, and bifor thee, fro the bigynnyng, and profesieden on many londis, and on many rewmes, of batel, and of turment, and of hungur.
8 Os profetas que precederam a você e a mim, desde os tempos antigos, profetizaram guerra, desgraça e peste contra muitas nações e grandes reinos.
9 The profete that profesiede pees, whanne his word cometh, shal be knowun the profete whom the Lord sente in treuthe.
9 Mas o profeta que profetiza prosperidade será reconhecido como verdadeiro enviado do Senhor se aquilo que profetizou se realizar".
10 And Ananye, the profete, took the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye, the profete, and brak it.
10 Então o profeta Hananias tirou o jugo do pescoço de Jeremias e o quebrou,
11 And Ananye, the profete, seide in the siyt of al the puple, `and seide, The Lord seith these thingis, So Y schal breke the yok of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, aftir twei yeeris of daies, fro the necke of alle folkis.
11 e disse diante de todo o povo: "Assim diz o Senhor: ‘É deste modo que quebrarei o jugo de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, e o tirarei do pescoço de todas as nações no prazo de dois anos’ ". Diante disso, o profeta Jeremias retirou-se.
12 And Jeremye, the profete, yede in to his weie. And the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye, aftir that Ananye, the profete, brak the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye; and the Lord seide,
12 Depois que o profeta Hananias quebrou o jugo do pescoço do profeta Jeremias, o Senhor dirigiu a palavra a Jeremias:
13 Go thou, and seie to Ananye, The Lord seith these thingis, Thou hast al to-broke the chaynes of tre, and thou schalt make yrun chaynes for tho.
13 "Vá dizer a Hananias: ‘Assim diz o Senhor: Você quebrou um jugo de madeira, mas em seu lugar você fará um jugo de ferro.
14 For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue set an yrun yok on the necke of alle these folkis, that thei serue Nabugodonosor, the king of Babiloyne, and thei schulen serue hym; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of erthe.
14 Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel: Porei um jugo sobre o pescoço de todas essas nações, para fazê-las sujeitas a Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, e elas se sujeitarão a ele. Até mesmo os animais selvagens estarão sujeitos a ele’ ".
15 And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, Ananye, here thou; the Lord sente not thee, and thou madist this puple for to triste in a leesyng.
15 Disse, pois, o profeta Jeremias ao profeta Hananias: "Escute, Hananias! O Senhor não o enviou, mas assim mesmo você persuadiu esta nação a confiar em mentiras.
16 Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal sende thee out fro the face of erthe; in this yeer thou schalt die, for thou spakest ayens the Lord.
16 Por isso, assim diz Senhor: ‘Vou tirá-lo da face da terra. Este ano você morrerá, porque pregou rebelião contra o Senhor’ ".
17 And Ananye, the profete, diede in that yeer, in the seuenthe monethe.
17 E o profeta Hananias morreu no sétimo mês daquele mesmo ano.
