1 The hows of Jacob, that ben clepid bi the name of Israel, and yeden out of the watris of Juda, here these thingis, whiche sweren in the name of the Lord, and han mynde on God of Israel, not in treuthe, nether in riytfulnesse.
1 "Escute isto, ó comunidade de Jacó, vocês que são chamados pelo nome de Israel e vêm da linhagem de Judá, vocês que fazem juramentos pelo nome do Senhor e invocam o Deus de Israel, mas não em verdade ou retidão;
2 For thei ben clepid of the hooli citee, and ben stablischid on the God of Israel, the Lord of oostis is his name.
2 vocês que chamam a si mesmos cidadãos da cidade santa e dependem do Deus de Israel; o Senhor dos Exércitos é o seu nome:
3 Fro that tyme Y telde the former thingis, and tho yeden out of my mouth; and Y made tho knowun; sudenli Y wrouyte, and tho thingis camen.
3 Eu predisse há muito as coisas passadas, minha boca as anunciou, e eu as fiz conhecidas; então repentinamente agi, e elas aconteceram.
4 For Y wiste that thou art hard, and thi nol is a senewe of irun, and thi forhed is of bras.
4 Pois eu sabia o quão obstinado você era; os tendões de seu pescoço eram ferro, a sua testa era bronze.
5 Y biforseide to thee fro that tyme, bifore that tho thingis camen, Y schewide to thee, lest perauenture thou woldist seie, Myn idols diden these thingis, and my grauun ymagis and my yotun
5 Por isso há muito lhe contei essas coisas; antes que acontecessem eu as anunciei a você para que você não pudesse dizer: ‘Meus ídolos as fizeram; minha imagem de madeira e meu deus de metal as determinaram’.
6 ymagis senten these thingis whiche thou herdist. Se thou alle thingis, but ye telden not. Y made herd newe thyngis to thee fro that tyme, and thingis ben kept whiche thou knowist not;
6 Você tem ouvido essas coisas; olhe para todas elas. Você não irá admiti-las? De agora em diante eu lhe contarei coisas novas, coisas ocultas, que você desconhece.
7 now tho ben maad of nouyt, and not fro that tyme, and bifor the dai, and thou herdist not tho thingis; lest perauenture thou seie, Lo! Y knew tho thingis.
7 Elas foram criadas agora, e não há muito tempo; você nunca os conheceu antes. Por isso você não pode dizer: ‘Sim, eu as conhecia’.
8 Nether thou herdist, nether thou knewist, nether thin eere was openyd fro that tyme; for Y woot, that thou trespassynge schal trespasse, and Y clepide thee a trespassour fro the wombe.
8 Você não tinha conhecimento nem entendimento; desde a antigüidade, o seu ouvido tem se fechado. Sei quão traiçoeiro você é; desde o nascimento você foi chamado rebelde.
9 For my name Y schal make fer my strong veniaunce, and with my preysyng Y schal refreyne thee, lest thou perische.
9 Por amor do meu próprio nome eu adio a minha ira; por amor de meu louvor eu a contive, para que você não fosse eliminado.
10 Lo! Y haue sode thee, but not as siluer; Y chees thee in the chymeney of pouert.
10 Veja, eu refinei você, embora não como prata; eu o provei na fornalha da aflição.
11 Y schal do for me, that Y be not blasfemyd, and Y schal not yyue my glorie to another.
11 Por amor de mim mesmo, por amor de mim mesmo, eu faço isso. Como posso permitir que eu mesmo seja difamado? Não darei minha glória a um outro.
12 Jacob and Israel, whom Y clepe, here thou me; Y my silf, Y am the firste and Y am the laste.
12 "Escute-me, ó Jacó, Israel, a quem chamei: Eu sou sempre o mesmo; eu sou o primeiro e eu sou o último.
13 And myn hond foundide the erthe, and my riyt hond mat heuenes; Y schal clepe tho, and tho schulen stonde togidere.
13 Minha própria mão lançou os alicerces da terra, e a minha mão direita estendeu os céus; quando eu os convoco, todos juntos se põem de pé.
14 Alle ye be gaderid togidere, and here; who of hem telde these thingis? The Lord louyde hym, he schal do his wille in Babiloyne, and his arm in Caldeis.
14 "Reúnam-se, todos vocês, e escutem: Qual dos ídolos predisse essas coisas? O amado do Senhor cumprirá seu propósito contra a Babilônia; seu braço será contra os babilônios.
15 Y, Y spak, and clepide hym; Y brouyte hym, and his weie was dressid.
15 Eu, eu mesmo, falei; sim, eu o chamei. Eu o trarei, e ele será bem sucedido em sua missão.
16 Neiye ye to me, and here ye these thingis; at the bigynnyng Y spak not in priuete; fro tyme, bifore that thingis weren maad, Y was there, and now the Lord God and his Spirit sente me.
16 "Aproximem-se de mim e escutem isto: "Desde o primeiro anúncio não falei secretamente; na hora em que acontecer, estarei ali. " E agora o Soberano Senhor me enviou, com seu Espírito.
17 The Lord, thin ayen biere, the hooli of Israel, seith these thingis, Y am thi Lord God, techynge thee profitable thingis, and Y gouerne thee in the weie, wher ynne thou goist.
17 Assim diz o Senhor, o seu redentor, o Santo de Israel: "Eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que lhe ensina o que é melhor para você, que o dirige no caminho em que você deve ir.
18 Y wolde that thou haddist perseyued my comaundementis, thi pees hadde be maad as flood, and thi riytfulnesse as the swolowis of the see;
18 Se tão-somente você tivesse prestado atenção às minhas ordens, sua paz seria como um rio, sua retidão, como as ondas do mar.
19 and thi seed hadde be as grauel, and the generacioun of thi wombe, as the litle stoonys therof; the name of it hadde not perischid, and hadde not be al to-brokun fro my face.
19 Seus descendentes seriam como a areia, seus filhos, como seus inúmeros grãos; o nome deles jamais seria eliminado nem destruído de diante de mim".
20 Go ye out of Babiloyne, fle ye fro Caldeis; telle ye in the vois of ful out ioiying; make ye this herd, and bere ye it `til to the laste partis of erthe; seie ye, The Lord ayenbouyte his seruaunt Jacob.
20 Deixem a Babilônia, fujam do meio dos babilônios! Anunciem isso com gritos de alegria e o proclamem. Enviem-no aos confins da terra; digam: "O Senhor resgatou seu servo Jacó".
21 Thei thirstiden not in desert, whanne he ladde hem out; he brouyte forth to hem watir of a stoon, and he departide the stoon, and watris flowiden.
21 Não tiveram sede quando ele os conduziu através dos desertos; ele fez água fluir da rocha para eles; fendeu a rocha, e a água jorrou.
22 Pees is not to wickid men, seith the Lord.
22 "Não há paz alguma para os ímpios", diz o Senhor.
