1 The charite of britherhod dwelle in you, and nyle ye foryete hospitalite;
1 Permaneça o amor fraternal.
2 for bi this summen plesiden to aungels, that weren resseyued to herborewe.
2 Não vos esqueçais da hospitalidade, porque por ela alguns, sem o saberem, hospedaram anjos.
3 Thenke ye on boundun men, as ye weren togidere boundun, and of trauelinge men, as ye silf dwellinge in the body.
3 Lembrai-vos dos presos, como se estivésseis presos com eles, e dos maltratados, como sendo-o vós mesmos também no corpo.
4 `Wedding is in alle thingis onourable, and bed vnwemmed; for God schal deme fornicatouris and auouteris.
4 Honrado seja entre todos o matrimônio e o leito sem mácula; pois aos devassos e adúlteros, Deus os julgará.
5 Be youre maneres withoute coueitise, apaied with present thingis; for he seide, Y schal not leeue thee,
5 Seja a vossa vida isenta de ganância, contentando-vos com o que tendes; porque ele mesmo disse: Não te deixarei, nem te desampararei.
6 nether forsake, so that we seie tristily, The Lord is an helpere to me; Y schal not drede, what a man schal do to me.
6 De modo que com plena confiança digamos: O Senhor é quem me ajuda, não temerei; que me fará o homem?
7 Haue ye mynde of youre souereyns, that han spokun to you the word of God; of whiche `biholde ye the goyng out of lyuynge, and sue ye the feith of hem,
7 Lembrai-vos dos vossos guias, os quais vos falaram a palavra de Deus, e, atentando para o êxito da sua carreira, imitai-lhes a fé.
8 Jhesu Crist, yistirdai, and to dai, he is also into worldis.
8 Jesus Cristo é o mesmo, ontem, e hoje, e eternamente.
9 Nyle ye be led awei with dyuerse `techingis, and straunge. For it is best to stable the herte with grace, not with metis, whiche profitiden not to men wandringe in hem.
9 Não vos deixeis levar por doutrinas várias e estranhas; porque bom é que o coração se fortifique com a graça, e não com alimentos, que não trouxeram proveito algum aos que com eles se preocuparam.
10 We han an auter, of which thei that seruen to the tabernacle, han not power to ete.
10 Temos um altar, do qual não têm direito de comer os que servem ao tabernáculo.
11 For of whiche beestis the blood is borun in for synne in to hooli thingis bi the bischop, the bodies of hem ben brent with out the castels.
11 Porque os corpos dos animais, cujo sangue é trazido para dentro do santo lugar pelo sumo sacerdote como oferta pelo pecado, são queimados fora do arraial.
12 For which thing Jhesu, that he schulde halewe the puple bi his blood, suffride with out the gate.
12 Por isso também Jesus, para santificar o povo pelo seu próprio sangue, sofreu fora da porta.
13 Therfor go we out to hym with out the castels, berynge his repreef.
13 Saiamos pois a ele fora do arraial, levando o seu opróbrio.
14 For we han not here a citee dwellynge, but we seken a citee to comynge.
14 Porque não temos aqui cidade permanente, mas buscamos a vindoura.
15 Therfor bi hym offre we a sacrifice of heriyng euere more to God, that is to seye, the fruyt of lippis knoulechinge to his name.
15 Por ele, pois, ofereçamos sempre a Deus sacrifício de louvor, isto é, o fruto dos lábios que confessam o seu nome.
16 And nyle ye foryete wel doynge, and comynyng; for bi siche sacrifices God is disserued.
16 Mas não vos esqueçais de fazer o bem e de repartir com outros, porque com tais sacrifícios Deus se agrada.
17 Obeie ye to youre souereyns, and be ye suget to hem; for thei perfitli waken, as to yeldinge resoun for youre soulis, that thei do this thing with ioie, and not sorewinge; for this thing spedith not to you.
17 Obedecei a vossos guias, sendo-lhes submissos; porque velam por vossas almas como quem há de prestar contas delas; para que o façam com alegria e não gemendo, porque isso não vos seria útil.
18 Preie ye for vs, and we tristen that we han good conscience in alle thingis, willynge to lyue wel.
18 Orai por nós, porque estamos persuadidos de que temos boa consciência, sendo desejosos de, em tudo, portar-nos corretamente.
19 More ouer Y biseche you to do, that Y be restorid the sunnere to you.
19 E com instância vos exorto a que o façais, para que eu mais depressa vos seja restituído.
20 And God of pees, that ladde out fro deth the greet scheepherd of scheep, in the blood of euerlastinge testament, oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
20 Ora, o Deus de paz, que pelo sangue do pacto eterno tornou a trazer dentre os mortos a nosso Senhor Jesus, grande pastor das ovelhas,
21 schape you in al good thing, that ye do the wille of hym; and he do in you that thing that schal plese bifor hym, bi Jhesu Crist, to whom be glorie in to worldis of worldis. Amen.
21 vos aperfeiçoe em toda boa obra, para fazerdes a sua vontade, operando em nós o que perante ele é agradável, por meio de Jesus Cristo, ao qual seja glória para todo o sempre. Amém.
22 And, britheren, Y preie you, that ye suffre a word of solace; for bi ful fewe thingis Y haue writun to you.
22 Rogo-vos, porém, irmãos, que suporteis estas palavras de exortação, pois vos escrevi em poucas palavras.
23 Knowe ye oure brother Tymothe, that is sent forth, with whom if he schal come more hastili, Y schal se you.
23 Sabei que o irmão Timóteo já está solto, com o qual, se ele vier brevemente, vos verei.
24 Grete ye wel alle youre souereyns, and alle hooli men. The britheren of Italie greten you wel.
24 Saudai a todos os vossos guias e a todos os santos. Os de Itália vos saúdam.
25 The grace of God be with you alle. Amen.
25 A graça seja com todos vós.
