1 And God blisside Noe and hise sones, and seide to hem, Encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and fille ye the erthe;
1 E Deus abençoou Noé e seus filhos, e lhes disse: Sede frutíferos e multiplicai-vos, e reabasteça a terra.
2 and youre drede and tremblyng be on alle vnresonable beestis of erthe, and on alle briddis of heuene, with alle thingis that ben moued in erthe; alle fischis of the see ben youun to youre hond.
2 E o temor de vós e o pavor de vós estará sobre todo animal da terra, e sobre toda ave do céu, sobre tudo que se move sobre a terra, e sobre todos os peixes do mar; em vossas mãos eles foram entregues.
3 And al thing which is moued and lyueth schal be to you in to mete; Y have youe to you alle thingis as greene wortis,
3 Toda coisa viva que se move será por alimento para vós; assim como a erva verde, eu vos tenho dado todas as coisas.
4 outakun that ye schulen not ete fleisch with blood,
4 Mas a carne com a sua vida, que é o sangue dela, não comereis.
5 for Y schal seke the blood of youre lyues of the hoond of alle vnresonable beestis and of the hoond of man, of the hoond of man and of hys brother Y schal seke the lijf of man.
5 E, certamente, vosso sangue das vossas vidas eu requererei; da mão de todo animal requererei, e da mão do homem, e da mão de todo irmão do homem requererei a vida do homem.
6 Who euere schedith out mannus blood, his blood schal be sched; for man is maad to the ymage of God.
6 Quem assim derramar o sangue do homem, pelo homem seu sangue será derramado, pois à imagem de Deus ele fez o homem.
7 Forsothe encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and entre ye on erthe, and fille ye it, Also the Lord seide thes thingis to Noe,
7 E vós, sede fecundos e multiplicai-vos, povoai abundantemente a terra, e multiplicai-vos nela.
8 and to his sones with him, Lo!
8 E Deus falou a Noé, e a seus filhos com ele, dizendo:
9 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and with your seed after you,
9 E eu, eis que eu estabeleço meu pacto convosco, e com vossa semente depois de vós,
10 and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, as wel in briddis as in werk beestis and smale beestis of erthe, and to alle thingis that yeden out of the schip, and to alle vnresonable beestis of erthe.
10 e com toda criatura vivente que está convosco, das aves, do gado e de todo animal da terra convosco; de todos os que saem da arca, a todo animal da terra.
11 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and ech fleisch schal no more be slayn of the watris of the greet flood, nethir the greet flood distriynge al erthe schal be more.
11 E eu estabelecerei o meu pacto convosco; não será mais destruída toda carne pelas águas de um dilúvio, nem haverá mais dilúvio para destruir a terra.
12 And God seide, This is the signe of boond of pees, which Y yyue bitwixe me and you, and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, in to euerlastynge generaciouns.
12 E Deus disse: Este é o sinal do pacto que fiz entre mim e vós, e toda criatura vivente que está convosco, para as gerações perpétuas.
13 Y schal sette my bowe in the cloudis, and it schal be a signe of boond of pees bitwixe me and erthe;
13 Eu ponho o meu arco na nuvem, e isto será por sinal do pacto entre mim e a terra.
14 and whanne Y schal hile heuene with cloudis, my bowe schal appere in the cloudis,
14 E acontecerá, quando eu trouxer uma nuvem sobre a terra, que o arco será visto na nuvem.
15 and Y schal haue mynde of my boond of pees which Y made with you, and with ech soule lyuynge, that nurschith fleisch; and the watris of the greet flood schulen no more be to do awey al fleish.
15 E eu lembrarei do meu pacto, que está entre mim e vós e toda criatura vivente de toda a carne; e as águas não mais se tornarão um dilúvio para destruir toda a carne.
16 And my bowe schal be in the cloudis, and Y schal se it, and Y schal haue mynde of euerlastynge boond of pees, which is maad bitwixe God and man, and ech soul lyuynge of al fleisch which is on erthe.
16 E o arco estará na nuvem; e eu olharei para ele, para que eu me lembre do pacto eterno entre Deus e toda criatura vivente de toda carne que está sobre a terra.
17 And God seide to Noe, This schal be a signe of boond of pees, which Y made bitwixe me and ech fleisch on erthe.
17 E Deus disse a Noé: Este é o sinal do pacto, que eu estabeleci entre mim e toda carne que está sobre a terra.
18 Therfore thei that yeden out of the schip weren Noe, Sem, Cham, and Japheth; forsothe Cham, thilke is the fadir of Chanaan.
18 E os filhos de Noé, que saíram da arca, foram: Sem, Cam e Jafé; e Cam é o pai de Canaã.
19 These thre weren the sones of Noe, and al the kynde of men was sowun of hem on al erthe.
19 Estes são os três filhos de Noé; e por eles toda a terra foi povoada.
20 And Noe, an erthe tiliere, bigan to tile the erthe, and he plauntide a viner,
20 E Noé começou a ser lavrador, e ele plantou uma vinha.
21 and he drank wyn, and was drunkun; and he was nakid, and lay in his tabernacle.
21 E ele bebeu do vinho, e ficou embriagado, e ele ficou desnudo dentro da sua tenda.
22 And whanne Cham, the fadir of Chanaan, hadde seien this thing, that is, that the schameful membris of his fadir weren maad nakid, he telde to hise tweye britheren with out forth.
22 E Cam, o pai de Canaã, viu a nudez de seu pai, e contou a seus dois irmãos que estavam fora.
23 And sotheli Sem and Jafeth puttiden a mentil on her schuldris, and thei yeden bacward, and hileden the schameful membris of her fadir, and her faces weren turned awei, and thei sien not the priuy membris of her fadir.
23 E Sem e Jafé tomaram uma capa, e a puseram sobre os seus ombros, e viraram para trás, e cobriram a nudez de seu pai; e suas faces estavam viradas para trás, e eles não viram a nudez de seu pai.
24 And forsothe Noe wakide of the wyn, and whanne he hadde lerned what thingis his lesse sone hadde do to hym,
24 E Noé despertou de seu vinho, e soube o que seu filho mais novo havia feito a ele.
25 he seide, Cursid be the child Canaan, he schal be seruaunt of seruauntis to hise britheren.
25 E ele disse: Amaldiçoado seja Canaã; servo de servos ele será para seus irmãos.
26 And Noe seide, Blessid be the Lord God of Sem,
26 E ele disse: Abençoado seja o SENHOR Deus de Sem; e Canaã será o seu servo.
27 and Chanaan be the seruaunt to Sem; God alarge Jafeth, and dwelle in the tabernaclis of Sem, and Chanaan be seruaunt of hym.
27 E Deus alargará Jafé, e ele habitará nas tendas de Sem; e Canaã será o seu servo.
28 Forsothe Noe lyuede aftir the greet flood thre hundrid and fifti yeer;
28 E Noé viveu, depois do dilúvio, trezentos e cinquenta anos.
29 and alle the daies of hym weren fillid nyn hundrid and fifty yeer, and he was deed.
29 E todos os dias de Noé foram novecentos e cinquenta anos, e ele morreu.
