1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
1 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the sones of Amon, and thou schalt profesie of hem.
2 Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra os filhos de Amom, e profetiza contra eles.
3 And thou schalt seie to the sones of Amon, Here ye the word of the Lord God; the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye seiden, Wel! wel! on my seyntuarie, for it is defoulid, and on the lond of Israel, for it is maad desolat, and on the hous of Juda, for thei ben led in to to caitifte; lo!
3 E dize aos filhos de Amom: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto tu disseste: Ah! contra o meu santuário, quando foi profanado; e contra a terra de Israel, quando foi assolada; e contra a casa de Judá, quando foi ao cativeiro;
4 therfor Y schal yyue thee the sones of the eest in to eritage, and thei schulen sette her foldis in thee, and thei shulen sette her tentis in thee; thei schulen ete thi fruytis, and thei schulen drynke thi mylk.
4 Portanto, eis que te entregarei em possessão aos do oriente, e em ti estabelecerão os seus acampamentos, e porão em ti as suas moradas; eles comerão os teus frutos, e eles beberão o teu leite.
5 And Y schal yyue Rabath in to a dwellyng place of camels, and the sones of Amon in to a bed of beestis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
5 E farei de Rabá uma estrebaria de camelos, e dos filhos de Amom um curral de ovelhas; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
6 For the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that thou flappidist with hond, and smytidist with the foot, and ioyedist of al desijr on the lond of Israel;
6 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto bateste com as mãos, e pateaste com os pés, e com todo o desprezo do teu coração te alegraste contra a terra de Israel,
7 therfor lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to rauyschyng of hethene men, and Y schal sle thee fro puplis, and Y schal leese thee, and al to-breke thee fro londis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
7 Portanto, eis que eu tenho estendido a minha mão sobre ti, e te darei por despojo aos gentios, e te arrancarei dentre os povos, e te destruirei dentre as terras, e acabarei de todo contigo; e saberás que eu sou o Senhor.
8 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Moab and Seir seiden, Lo! the hous of Juda is as alle folkis; therfor lo!
8 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto dizem Moabe e Seir: Eis que a casa de Judá é como todos os gentios;
9 Y schal opene the schuldre of Moab of citees, sotheli of citees therof and of the endis therof, the noble citees of the lond, Bethiesmoth, and Beelmoth,
9 Portanto, eis que eu abrirei o lado de Moabe desde as cidades, desde as suas cidades da fronteira, a glória da terra, Bete-Jesimote, Baal-Meom, e Quiriataim.
10 and Cariathaym, to the sones of the eest, with the sones of Amon. And Y schal yyue it in to eritage, that mynde of the sones of Amon be no more among hethene men,
10 E aos do oriente, contra os filhos de Amom, o entregarei em possessão, para que não haja memória dos filhos de Amom entre as nações.
11 and in Moab Y schal make domes; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
11 Também executarei juízos sobre Moabe, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
12 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Ydumee dide veniaunce, that it avengide it silf of the sones of Juda, and synnede doynge trespas, and axide greetli veniaunce of hem;
12 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judá, e se fez culpadíssimo, quando se vingou deles;
13 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Idumee, and Y schal take awei fro it man and beeste, and Y schal make it desert of the south; and thei that ben in Dedan schulen falle bi swerd.
13 Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e arrancarei dela homens e animais; e a tornarei em deserto, e desde Temã até Dedã cairão à espada.
14 And Y schal yyue my veniaunce on Idumee, bi the hond of my puple Israel; and thei schulen do in Edom bi my wraththe, and bi my strong veniaunce; and thei schulen knowe my veniaunce, seith the Lord God.
14 E exercerei a minha vingança sobre Edom, pela mão do meu povo de Israel; e farão em Edom segundo a minha ira e segundo o meu furor; e conhecerão a minha vingança, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Palestyns diden veniaunce, and auengiden hem silf, with al wille sleynge, and fillynge elde enemytees;
15 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto os filisteus se houveram vingativamente, e executaram vingança com desprezo de coração, para destruírem com perpétua inimizade,
16 therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Palestyns, and Y schal sle sleeris, and Y schal leese the remenauntis of the se coost;
16 Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu estendo a minha mão sobre os filisteus, e arrancarei os quereteus, e destruirei o restante da costa do mar.
17 and Y schal make grete veniaunces in hem, and Y schal repreue in strong veniaunce; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal yyue my veniaunce on hem.
17 E executarei sobre eles grandes vinganças, com furiosos castigos, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu tiver exercido a minha vingança sobre eles.
