1 And the Lord seide to Moises, Now thou schalt se, what thingis Y schal do to Farao; for bi strong hond he schal delyuere hem, and in myyti hond he schal caste hem out of his lond.
1 O Senhor respondeu: "Verás o que vou fazer ao faraó: forçado por uma mão poderosa, ele os deixará partir; forçado por uma mão poderosa, ele os expulsará de sua terra".
2 And the Lord spak to Moises,
2 Deus disse a Moisés: "Eu sou o Senhor.
3 and seide, Y am the Lord, that apperide to Abraham, and to Isaac, and to Jacob in Almyyti God; and Y schewide not to hem my greet name Adonai;
3 Apareci a Abraão, a Isaac e a Jacó como o Deus todo-poderoso, mas não me dei a conhecer a eles pelo meu nome de Javé.
4 and Y made couenaunt with hem, that Y schulde yyue to hem the lond of Canaan, the lond of her pilgrymage, in which thei weren comelyngis.
4 Eu me comprometi com eles a lhes dar a terra de Canaã, a terra onde levaram uma vida errante e habitaram como estrangeiros.
5 Y herde the weilyng of the sones of Israel, in which the Egipcians oppresseden hem, and Y hadde mynde of my couenaunt.
5 Ouvi o clamor dos israelitas oprimidos pêlos egípcios, e lembrei-me de minha aliança.
6 Therfor seie thou to the sones of Israel, Y am the Lord, that schal lede out you of the prisoun of Egipcians; and Y schal delyuere fro seruage; and Y schal ayen bie in `an hiy arm, and in grete domes;
6 Por isso, dize aos israelitas: eu sou o Senhor; vou libertar-vos do jugo dos egípcios e livrar-vos de sua servidão. Estenderei o braço para essa libertação e manifestarei uma terrível justiça.
7 and Y schal take you to me in to a puple, and Y schal be youre God; and ye schulen wite, for Y am youre Lord God, `which haue led you out of the prisoun of Egipcians,
7 Tomar-vos-ei para meu povo e serei o vosso Deus, e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, vosso Deus, que vos terei libertado do jugo dos egípcios.
8 and haue led you in to the lond, on which Y reiside myn hond, that Y schulde yyue it to Abraham, and to Ysaac, and to Jacob; and Y schal yyue to you that lond to be weldid; I the Lord.
8 Introduzir-vos-ei na terra que jurei dar a Abraão, a Isaac e a Jacó: e vos darei a possessão dessa terra, eu, o Senhor".
9 Therfor Moises telde alle thingis to the sones of Irael, whiche assentide not to hym for the angwisch of spirit, and for the hardest werk.
9 Moisés repetiu essas palavras aos israelitas, mas estes não o ouviram, tão grande era o abatimento de sua alma e penosa a sua servidão.
10 And the Lord spak to Moises,
10 O Senhor disse então a Moisés:
11 and seide, Entre thou, and speke to Farao, kyng of Egipt, that he delyuere the children of Israel fro his lond.
11 "Vai pedir ao faraó, ao rei do Egito, que deixe sair de sua terra os israelitas".
12 Moises answeride bifore the Lord, Lo! the children of Israel here not me, and hou schal Farao here, moost sithen Y am vncircumcidid in lippis?
12 Moisés respondeu ao Senhor: "Os israelitas não me ouviram; como me ouvirá o faraó, a mim que não tenho o dom da palavra?"
13 And the Lord spak to Moises and to Aaron, and yaf comaundementis to the sones of Israel, and to Farao, kyng of Egipt, that thei schulden lede out the sones of Israel fro the lond of Egipt.
13 O Senhor falou a Moisés e a Aarão, e deu-lhes a ordem de irem ter com o faraó, o rei do Egito, a fim de tirarem da terra do Egito os filhos de Israel.
14 These ben the princis of housis bi her meynees. The sones of Ruben, the firste gendrid of Israel, Enoch, and Fallu, Esrom, and Charmy; these ben the kynredis of Ruben.
14 Eis os chefes das famílias dos israelitas: filhos de Rubem, primogênito de Israel: Henoc, Falu, Hesron e Carmi. Estas são as famílias de Rubem.
15 The sones of Symeon, Jamuel, and Jamyn, and Aod, and Jachym, and Soer, and Saul, the sone of a womman of Canaan; these ben the kynretis of Symeon.
15 Filhos de Simeão: Jamuel, Jamim, Aod, Jaquim, Soar e Saul, filho da cananéia. Estas são as famílias de Simeão.
16 And these ben the names of the sones of Leuy by her kynredis, Gerson, and Caath, and Merary. Forsothe the yeeris of lijf of Leuy weren an hundrid and seuene and thretti.
16 Eis os nomes dos filhos de Levi, por ordem de gerações: Gerson, Caat e Merari. A duração da vida de Levi foi de cento e trinta e sete anos.
17 The sones of Gerson, Lobny and Semei, bi her kynredis.
17 Filhos de Gerson: Lobni e Semei, e suas famílias.
18 The sones of Caath, Amram, and Isuar, and Hebron, and Oziel; and the yeeris of lijf of Caath weren an hundrid and thre and thretti.
18 Filhos de Caat: Amrão, Isaar, Hebron e Oziel. A duração da vida de Caat foi de cento e trinta e três anos.
19 The sones of Merari weren Mooli and Musi. These weren the kynredis of Leuy bi her meynees.
19 Filhos de Merari: Mooli e Musi. Tais são as famílias de Levi por ordem de gerações.
20 Forsothe Amram took a wijf, Jocabed, douytir of his fadris brother, and sche childide to hym Aaron, and Moises, and Marie; and the yeeris of lijf of Amram weren an hundred and seuene and thretti.
20 Amrão desposou Jocabed, sua tia, que lhe deu Aarão e Moisés. A duração da vida de Amrão foi de cento e trinta e sete anos.
21 Also the sones of Isuar weren Chore, and Nafeg, and Zechry.
21 Filhos de Isaar: Coré, Nefeg e Zecri.
22 Also the sones of Oziel weren Misael, and Elisaphan, and Sechery.
22 Filhos de Oziel: Misael, Elisafã e Setri.
23 Sotheli Aaron took a wijf, Elizabeth, the douytir of Amynadab, the sistir of Naason, and sche childide to hym Nadab, and Abyu, and Eleazar, and Ythamar.
23 Aarão desposou Elisabet, filha de Aminadab, irmã de Naasson; ela lhe deu Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
24 Also the sones of Chore weren Aser, and Elcana, and Abiasab; thes weren the kinredis of Chore.
24 Filhos de Coré: Aser, Elcana e Abiasaf; estas são as famílias dos coreítas.
25 And sotheli Eleazar, sone of Aaron, took a wijf of the douytris of Phatiel, and sche childide Fynees to hym. These ben the princis of the meynees of Leuy bi her kynredis.
25 Eleazar, filho de Aarão, desposou uma das filhas de Futiel, que lhe deu Finéas. Tais são os chefes das famílias dos levitas, com suas famílias.
26 This is Aaron and Moises, to whiche the Lord comaundide, that thei schulden lede out of the lond of Egipt the sones of Israel by her cumpanyes;
26 Estes são Aarão e Moisés, a quem o Senhor disse: "Fazei sair do Egito os israelitas, segundo os seus exércitos".
27 these it ben, that speken to Pharao king of Egipt, that thei lede the sones of Israel out of Egipt;
27 Foram eles que falaram ao faraó, rei do Egito, para tirar do Egito os israelitas. São estes Moisés e Aarão.
28 this is Moises and Aaron, in the dai in which the Lord spak to Moises in the lond of Egipt.
28 Quando o Senhor falou a Moisés no Egito,
29 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Y am the Lord; spek thou to Farao, kyng of Egipt, alle thingis whiche Y speke to thee.
29 ele o fez nestes termos: "Eu sou o Senhor. Repete ao faraó, o rei do Egito, tudo o que te digo".
30 And Moises seide bifore the Lord, Lo! Y am vncircumcidid in lippis; hou schal Farao here me?
30 E Moisés respondeu-lhe: "Eu não tenho o dom da palavra; como me ouvirá o faraó?"
