1 Thou schalt not resseyue a vois of leesyng, nether thou schalt ioyne thin hond, that thou seie fals witnessyng for a wickid man.
1 Não levantarás falso rumor; não porás a tua mão com o ímpio para ser testemunha falsa.
2 Thou schalt not sue the cumpanye to do yuel, nether thou schalt ascente to the sentence of ful many men in doom, that thou go awey fro treuthe.
2 Não seguirás uma multidão para fazeres o mal; nem falarás em uma causa modificando a ação após muitos, distorcendo o julgamento.
3 Also thou schalt not haue mercy of a pore man in a `cause, ethir doom.
3 Nem ao homem pobre favorecerás na sua causa.
4 If thou meetist `the oxe of thin enemye, ethir the asse errynge, lede thou ayen to hym.
4 Se encontrares o boi ou o jumento de teu inimigo desgarrado, certamente o levarás de volta a ele novamente.
5 If thou seest that the asse of hym that hatith thee liggyth vndir a burthun, thou schalt not passe, but thou schalt reise with hym.
5 Se vires o jumento de alguém que te odeia deitado debaixo de sua carga, deixarás de ajudá-lo? Certamente o ajudarás.
6 Thou schalt not bowe in the doom of a pore man.
6 Não perverterás o direito de teu pobre na sua causa.
7 Thou schalt fle a lesyng. Thou schalt not sle an innocent man, and iust; for Y am aduersarie to a wickid man.
7 Guarda-te de questões falsas; e o inocente e o justo não matarás, porque não justificarei o ímpio.
8 Take thou not yiftis, that blynden also prudent men, and destryen the wordys of iust men.
8 E tu não aceitarás presente; porque o presente cega o sábio, e perverte as palavras do justo.
9 Thou schalt not be diseseful to a pilgrym, for ye knowen the soulis of comelyngis, for also ye weren pilgryms in the lond of Egipt.
9 Não oprimirás o estrangeiro, porque conheceis o coração de um estrangeiro, visto que fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.
10 Sixe yeer thou schalt sowe thi lond, and thou schalt gadre fruytis therof;
10 E seis anos semearás a tua terra, e colherás o seu fruto,
11 forsothe in the seuenthe yeer thou schalt leeue it, and schalt make to reste, that the pore men of thi puple ete, and what euer is residue, the beestis of the feeld ete; so thou schalt do in thi vyner, and in place of olyue trees.
11 mas no sétimo ano a deixarás descansar e ficar sossegada, para que os pobres do teu povo possam comer. E o que eles deixarem, os animais do campo comerão. Da mesma maneira agirás com tua vinha, e com teu olival.
12 Sixe dayes thou schalt worche, in the seuenthe dai thou schalt ceesse, that thin oxe and asse reste, and the sone of thin handmaide, and the comelyng be refreischid.
12 Seis dias farás tua obra, e no sétimo dia descansarás, para que o teu boi e o teu jumento possam descansar, e o filho de tua serva, e o estrangeiro, possam ser revigorados.
13 Kepe ye alle thingis, whiche Y seide to you; and ye schulen not swere bi the name of alien goddis, nether it schal be herd of youre mouth.
13 E em todas as coisas que vos tenho dito, guardai-vos; e do nome de outros deuses nem fazei menção, nem sejam ouvidos da vossa boca.
14 In thre tymes bi alle yeeris ye schulen halewe feestis to me.
14 Três vezes por ano celebrarás uma festa para mim.
15 Thou schalt kepe the solempnyte of therf looues; seuene daies thou schalt ete therf breed, as Y comaundide to thee, in the tyme of monethe of newe thingis, whanne thou yedist out of Egipt; thou schalt not appere voide in my siyt.
15 Guardarás a festa dos pães ázimos (Comereis pão ázimo sete dias, como te ordenei, no tempo determinado do mês de abibe; porque nele saíste do Egito; e ninguém aparecerá vazio perante mim).
16 And thou schalt kepe the solempnete of the monethe of the firste thingis of thi werk, what euer thingis thou hast sowe in the feeld. Also thou schalt kepe the solempnyte in the goyng out of the yeer, whanne thou hast gaderid all thi fruytis of the feeld.
16 E a festa da sega, as primícias do teu trabalho, que semeaste no campo; e a festa da colheita, que é no fim do ano, quando tiveres colhido o teu trabalho do campo.
17 Thries in the yeer al thi male kynde schal appere bifore thi Lord God.
17 Três vezes por ano todos os teus homens aparecerão diante do SENHOR DEUS.
18 Thou schalt not offre the blood of thi slayn sacrifice on sour douy; nether the fatnesse of my solempnete schal dwelle til to the morewtid.
18 Não oferecerás o sangue do meu sacrifício com pão levedado; nem ficará a gordura do meu sacrifício até de manhã.
19 Thou schalt bere the firste thingis of the fruytis of thi lond in to the hows of thi Lord God. Thou schalt not sethe a kide in the mylke of his modir.
19 O primeiro das primícias da terra trarás para a casa do SENHOR teu Deus. Não cozinharás um cabrito no leite de sua mãe.
20 Lo! Y schal sende myn aungel, that schal go bifore thee, and schal kepe in the weie, and schal lede to the place which Y haue maad redi to thee.
20 Eis que envio um Anjo adiante de ti, para que te guarde no caminho e te conduza ao lugar que te tenho preparado.
21 Take thou hede to hym, and here thou his vois, nether gesse thou hym to be dispisid; for he schal not foryyue, whanne thou synnest, and my name is in him.
21 Guarda-te diante dele, e obedece à sua voz; não o provoques, pois ele não perdoará as vossas transgressões, porque o meu nome está nele.
22 For if thou herest his vois, and doist alle thingis whiche Y speke, Y schal be enemy to thin enemyes, and Y schal turment hem, that turmenten thee;
22 Mas se realmente obedeceres à sua voz, e fizeres tudo que eu disser, então serei um inimigo dos teus inimigos, e um adversário dos teus adversários.
23 and myn aungel schal go bifore thee, and he schal lede yn thee to Amorrei, and Ethei, and Ferezei, and Cananey, and Euey, and Jebusei, whiche Y schal breke.
23 Pois, o meu Anjo irá adiante de ti, e te conduzirá aos amorreus, aos heteus, aos ferezeus, aos cananeus, aos heveus, aos jebuseus. E eu os eliminarei.
24 Thou schalt not onoure `the goddis of hem, nether thou schalt worschipe hem; thou schalt not do the werkis of hem, but thou schalt destrie the goddis, and thou schalt breke the ymagis of hem.
24 Não te curvarás diante dos seus deuses, nem os servirás, nem farás conforme as suas obras; mas os destruirás totalmente e quebrarás completamente as suas imagens.
25 And ye schulen serue to youre Lord God, that Y blesse thi looues, and watris, and do awei sikenesse fro the myddis of thee;
25 E servireis ao SENHOR vosso Deus, e ele abençoará o vosso pão e a vossa água; e eu tirarei do meio de vós a enfermidade.
26 neithir a womman vnfruytful, neither bareyn, schal be in thi lond; Y schal fille the noumbre of thi daies.
26 Não haverá ninguém que lance seus jovens, nem estéril; cumprirei na tua terra o número dos teus dias.
27 Y schal sende my drede in to thi biforgoyng, and Y schal sle al the puple, to which thou schalt entre, and Y schal turne the backis of alle thin enemyes bifore thee;
27 Enviarei o meu temor diante de ti, e destruirei todo o povo a quem fores, e farei com que todos os teus inimigos te virem as costas.
28 and Y schal sende out bifore scrabrouns, that schulen dryue awei Euey, and Cananey, and Ethei, bifore that thou entre.
28 E enviarei vespões diante de ti, que expulsarão os heveus, os cananeus, e os heteus, de diante de ti.
29 Y schal not caste hem out fro thi face in o yeer, lest the lond be turned in to wildirnesse, and beestis encreesse ayens thee;
29 Não os expulsarei de diante de ti em um ano, para que a terra não se torne desolada e os animais do campo se multipliquem contra ti.
30 litil and litil I schal caste hem out fro thi siyt, til thou be encreessid, and welde the loond.
30 Aos poucos os expulsarei de diante de ti, até que tu aumentes, e herdes a terra.
31 Forsothe Y schal sette thi termys fro the reed see til to the see of Palestyns, and fro desert til to the flood. Y schal yyue to youre hondis the dwelleris of the lond, and Y schal caste hem out fro youre siyt;
31 E colocarei os teus limites desde o mar Vermelho até o mar dos filisteus, e do deserto até o rio; porque entregarei os habitantes da terra em tua mão, e tu os expulsarás de diante de ti.
32 thou schalt not make boond of pees with hem, nethir with `the goddis of hem.
32 Não farás pacto com eles, nem com os seus deuses.
33 Dwelle thei not in thi lond, lest perauenture thei make thee to do synne ayens me, yf thou seruest her goddis, which thing certis schal be to thee in to sclaundir.
33 Eles não habitarão na tua terra, para que não te façam pecar contra mim, pois se servires aos seus deuses, isso certamente te será por armadilha.
