1 If cause is bitwixe ony men, and thei axen iugis, thei schulen yyue the victorie of riytfulnesse to him, whom thei perseyuen to be iust, thei schulen condempne hym of wickidnesse, whom thei perseyuen to be wickid.
1 Quando houver contenda entre alguns, e vierem a juízo para que os juízes os julguem, ao justo justificarão e ao injusto condenarão.
2 Sotheli if thei seen hym that synnede, worthi of betyngis, thei schulen caste him doun, and make to be betun bifor hem; also the maner of betyngis schal be for the mesure of synne,
2 E será que, se o injusto merecer açoites, o juiz o fará deitar e o fará açoitar diante de si, quanto bastar pela sua injustiça, por certa conta.
3 so oneli that tho passe not the noumbre of fourti, lest thi brother be to-rent viliche bifore thin iyen, and go awei.
3 Quarenta açoites lhe fará dar, não mais; para que, porventura, se lhe fizer dar mais açoites do que estes, teu irmão não fique envilecido aos teus olhos.
4 Thou schalt not bynde the `mouth of the oxe tredynge thi fruytis in the corn floor.
4 Não atarás a boca ao boi, quando trilhar.
5 Whanne britheren dwellen to gidere, and oon of hem is deed with out fre children, the wijf of the deed brother schal not be weddid to anothir man, but his brothir schal take hir, and schal reise seed of his brother.
5 Quando alguns irmãos morarem juntos, e algum deles morrer e não tiver filho, então, a mulher do defunto não se casará com homem estranho de fora; seu cunhado entrará a ela, e a tomará por mulher, e fará a obrigação de cunhado para com ela.
6 And he schal clepe the firste gendrid sone `of hir bi the name `of hym, `that is, of the deed brothir, that his name be not don awei fro Israel.
6 E será que o primogênito que ela der à luz estará em nome de seu irmão defunto, para que o seu nome se não apague em Israel.
7 Forsothe if he nyle take the wijf of his brother, which is due to hym bi lawe, the womman schal go to the yate of the citee; and sche schal axe the grettere men in birthe, and sche schal seie, `The brother of myn hosebonde nyle reise seed of his brother in Israel, nethir wole take me in to mariage.
7 Porém, se o tal homem não quiser tomar sua cunhada, subirá, então, sua cunhada à porta dos anciãos e dirá: Meu cunhado recusa suscitar a seu irmão nome em Israel; não quer fazer para comigo o dever de cunhado.
8 And anoon thei schulen make hym to be clepid, and thei schulen axe. If he answerith, Y nyle take hir to wijf;
8 Então, os anciãos da sua cidade o chamarão e com ele falarão; e, se ele ficar nisto e disser: Não quero tomá-la;
9 the womman schal go to hym bifor the eldre men of Israel, and sche schal take awei the schoo, and sche schal spete in to his face, and schal seie, So it schal be doon to the man, that bildith not `the hows of his brother;
9 então, sua cunhada se chegará a ele aos olhos dos anciãos, e lhe descalçará o sapato do pé, e lhe cuspirá no rosto, e protestará, e dirá: Assim se fará ao homem que não edificar a casa de seu irmão;
10 and `the name of hym schal be clepid in Israel, The hows of the man vnschood.
10 e o seu nome se chamará em Israel: A casa do descalçado.
11 If twei men han strijf bitwixe hem silf, and oon bigynneth to stryue ayens another, and the wijf of `the tother man wole delyuere hir hosebonde fro the hond of the strongere man, and puttith hond, and `takith the schamefast membris `of hym,
11 Quando pelejarem dois homens, um contra o outro, e a mulher de um chegar para livrar seu marido da mão do que o fere, e ela estender a sua mão, e lhe pegar pelas suas vergonhas,
12 thou schalt kitte awei `the hond of hir, nether thou schalt be bowid on hir bi ony mercy.
12 então, cortar-lhe-ás a mão; não a poupará teu olho.
13 Thou schalt not haue in the bagge dyuerse weiytis,
13 Na tua bolsa não terás diversos pesos, um grande e um pequeno.
14 a grettere and a lesse, nether a buyschel more and lesse schal be in thin hows.
14 Na tua casa não terás duas sortes de efa, um grande e um pequeno.
15 Thou schalt haue a iust weiyte and trewe, and an euene buyschel `and trewe schal be to thee, that thou lyue in myche tyme on the lond which thi Lord God schal yyue to thee.
15 Peso inteiro e justo terás, efa inteiro e justo terás, para que se prolonguem os teus dias na terra que te dará o Senhor , teu Deus.
16 For the Lord schal haue hym abhomynable that doith these thingis, and he wlatith, `ethir cursith, al vnriytfulnesse.
16 Porque abominação é ao Senhor , teu Deus, todo aquele que faz isso, todo aquele que faz injustiça.
17 Haue thou mynde what thingis Amalech dide to thee in the weie, whanne thou yedist out of Egipt;
17 Lembra-te do que te fez Amaleque no caminho, quando saíeis do Egito;
18 hou he cam to thee, and killide the laste men of thin oost, that saten wery, whanne thou were disesid with hungur and trauel, and he dredde not God.
18 como te saiu ao encontro no caminho e te derribou na retaguarda todos os fracos que iam após ti, estando tu cansado e afadigado; e não temeu a Deus.
19 Therfor whanne thi Lord God hath youe reste to thee, and hath maad suget alle naciouns `bi cumpas, in the lond which he bihiyte to thee, thou schalt do awei `the name of hym vndur heuene; be thou war lest thou foryete.
19 Será, pois, que, quando o Senhor , teu Deus, te tiver dado repouso de todos os teus inimigos em redor, na terra que o Senhor , teu Deus, te dará por herança, para possuí-la, então, apagarás a memória de Amaleque de debaixo do céu; não te esqueças.
