1 And Y say another signe in heuene, greet and wondurful; seuene aungels hauynge `seuene the laste veniauncis, for the wraththe of God is endid in hem.
1 Depois disso vi no céu outro sinal misterioso, grande e espantoso. Eram sete anjos com sete pragas, que são as últimas, pois são o fim da ira de Deus.
2 And Y say as a glasun see meynd with fier, and hem that ouercamen the beeste, and his ymage, and the noumbre of his name, stondynge aboue the glasun see, hauynge the harpis of God;
2 Então vi o que parecia ser um mar de vidro misturado com fogo. Vi também as pessoas que conseguiram derrotar o monstro e a sua imagem, isto é, o monstro cujo nome é representado por um número . Elas estavam de pé, perto do mar de vidro, e tocavam as harpas que Deus lhes tinha dado.
3 and syngynge the song of Moises, the seruaunt of God, and the song of the lomb, and seiden, Grete and wondurful ben thi werkis, Lord God almyyti; thi weies ben iust and trewe, Lord, kyng of worldis.
3 Cantavam a Canção de Moisés, servo de Deus, e a Canção do Cordeiro. Cantavam assim: “Ó Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso, como são grandes e maravilhosas as tuas obras! Rei das nações, como são justos e verdadeiros os teus planos!
4 Lord, who schal not drede thee, and magnyfie thi name? for thou aloone art merciful; for alle folkis schulen come, and worschipe in thi siyt, for thi domes ben open.
4 Quem não terá medo de ti, Senhor? Quem não vai querer anunciar a tua Pois só tu és santo. Todas as nações virão e te adorarão porque as tuas obras justas são vistas por todos.”
5 And aftir these thingis Y say, and lo! the temple of the tabernacle of witnessyng was opened in heuene;
5 Em seguida, vi que se abriu no céu o templo, isto é, a Tenda da Presença de Deus .
6 and seuene aungels hauynge seuene plagis, wenten out of the temple, and weren clothid with a stoon clene and white, and weren bifor gird with goldun girdlis about the brestis.
6 Os sete anjos que tinham as sete pragas saíram do Lugar Santo . Estavam vestidos com roupas de linho branco e brilhante e tinham faixas de ouro em volta do peito.
7 And oon of the foure beestis yaf to the seuene aungels seuene goldun viols, ful of the wraththe of God, that lyueth in to worldis of worldis.
7 Então um dos quatro seres vivos deu aos sete anjos sete taças de ouro cheias da ira de Deus, aquele que vive para todo o sempre.
8 And the temple was fillid with smooke of the majestee of God, and of the vertu of hym; and no man myyte entre in to the temple, til the seuene plagis of seuene angels weren endid.
8 O templo ficou cheio da fumaça da glória e do poder de Deus, e ninguém podia entrar nele até que chegassem ao fim as sete pragas trazidas pelos sete anjos.
