1 The title of the fourthe salm. `To the victorie in orguns; the salm of Dauid.
1 Ao Músico-chefe de Neginote, Salmo de Davi. Ouve-me quando eu chamar, ó Deus da minha justiça; tu me ampliaste quando eu estava aflito; tem misericórdia de mim e ouve a minha oração.
2 Whanne Y inwardli clepid, God of my riytwisnesse herde me; in tribulacioun thou hast alargid to me.
2 Ó vós, filhos dos homens, por quanto tempo tornareis minha glória em vergonha? Por quanto tempo amareis a vaidade e buscareis a mentira? Selá.
3 Haue thou mercy on me; and here thou my preier. Sones of men, hou long ben ye of heuy herte? whi louen ye vanite, and seken a leesyng?
3 Mas sabei que o SENHOR separou aquele que é piedoso para si; o SENHOR ouvirá quando eu o chamar.
4 And wite ye, that the Lord hath maad merueilous his hooli man; the Lord schal here me, whanne Y schal crye to hym.
4 Permanecei no temor e não pequeis; conversai com o vosso próprio coração sobre a vossa cama, e ficai quietos. Selá.
5 Be ye wrothe, and nyle ye do synne; `and for tho thingis whiche ye seien in youre hertis and in youre beddis, be ye compunct.
5 Oferecei sacrifícios de justiça, e ponde vossa confiança no SENHOR.
6 Sacrifie ye `the sacrifice of riytfulnesse, and hope ye in the Lord; many seien, Who schewide goodis to vs?
6 Há muitos que dizem: Quem nos mostrará algum bem? SENHOR, levanta a luz do teu semblante sobre nós.
7 Lord, the liyt of thi cheer is markid on vs; thou hast youe gladnesse in myn herte.
7 Puseste alegria no meu coração, mais do que no tempo em que se lhes multiplicaram o trigo e o vinho.
8 Thei ben multiplied of the fruit of whete, and of wyn; and of her oile.
8 Eu tanto me deitarei em paz quanto dormirei; porque tu, SENHOR, somente me fazes habitar em segurança.
9 In pees in the same thing; Y schal slepe, and take reste.
