1 And the Lord spak to Moises and to Aaron,
1 O Senhor disse a Moisés e a Aarão:
2 and seide, Take thou the summe of the sones of Caath, fro the myddis of Leuytis,
2 "Entre os levitas, farás a contagem dos filhos de Caat, segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais,
3 bi her housis and meynees, fro the threttithe yeer and aboue `til to the fiftithe yeer, of alle that entren, that thei stonde and mynystre in the tabernacle of boond of pees.
3 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta, de todos os que estão em condições de servir em qualquer função na tenda de reunião.
4 This is the religioun of the sones of Caath; Aaron and his sones schulen entren in to the tabernacle of boond of pees, and in to the hooli of hooli thingis,
4 Este é o serviço dos caatitas na tenda de reunião: cuidar dos objetos santíssimos.
5 whanne the tentis schulen be moued; and thei schulen do doun the veil that hangith bifore the yatis, and thei schulen wlappe in it the arke of witnessyng;
5 Quando se levantar o acampamento, Aarão e seus filhos tirarão o véu e cobrirão com ele a arca do testemunho;
6 and thei schulen hile eft with a veil of `skynnys of iacynt, and thei schulen stretche forth aboue a mentil al of iacynt, and thei schulen putte in barris `on the schuldris of the bereris.
6 cobri-la-ão ainda com uma coberta de pele de golfinho, estenderão por cima um pano todo de púrpura violeta e porão os varais da arca.
7 Also thei schulen wlappe the boord of proposicioun in a mentil of iacynt, and thei schulen putte therwith cenceris, and morteris of gold, litil cuppis, and grete cuppis to fletyng sacrifices `to be sched; looues schulen euere be in the boord.
7 Meterão um pano de púrpura violeta sobre a mesa dos pães da proposição, e porão nela os pratos, os vasos, as taças e os copos para as libações; o pão perpétuo estará sobre ela.
8 And thei schulen strecche forth aboue a reed mentil, which thei schulen hile eft with an hilyng of `skynnes of iacynt, and thei schulen putte yn barris.
8 Estenderão por cima um pano carmesim, envolto ainda com uma coberta de pele de golfinho; e colocarão os varais da mesa.
9 Thei schulen take also a mentil of iacynt with which thei schulen hile the candilstike, with hise lanternes, and tongis, and snytels, and alle the `vessels of oile that ben nedeful to the lanternes to be ordeyned;
9 Tomarão um pano de púrpura violeta para cobrir o candelabro, suas lâmpadas, suas espevitadeiras, seus cinzeiros e os recipientes de óleo necessários ao seu serviço.
10 and on alle thingis thei schulen putte an hilyng of `skynnys of iacynt, and thei schulen putte in barris.
10 Pô-lo-ão com todos os seus utensílios em um estojo de pele de golfinho e o colocarão sobre os varais.
11 Also and thei schulen wlappe the goldun auter in a clooth of iacynt; and thei schulen stretche forth aboue an hilyng of `skynnys of iacynt, and thei schulen putte in barris.
11 Estenderão sobre o altar de ouro um pano de púrpura violeta, e porão nele os varais depois de o terem coberto com uma cobertura de pele de golfinho.
12 Thei schulen wlappe in a mentil of iacynt alle the vessels in whiche it is mynystrid in the seyntuarie, and thei schulen strecche forth aboue an hilyng of `skynnys of iacynt, and thei schulen putte yn barris.
12 Tomarão todos os utensílios empregados para o serviço do santuário e os envolverão num pano de púrpura violeta, cobrindo-os, em seguida, com uma cobertura de pele de golfinho, para serem colocados sobre os varais.
13 But also thei schulen clense the auter fro aische, and thei schulen wlappe it in a clooth of purpur.
13 Tirarão as cinzas do altar e estenderão sobre ele um pano de púrpura escarlate.
14 And thei schulen putte with it alle vessels whiche thei vsen in the seruyce therof, that is, ressettis of firis, tongis, and fleischokis, hokis, and censeris, ether pannys of coolis; thei schulen hile alle the vessels of the auter togidere in a veil of `skynnes of iacynt, and thei schulen putte in barris.
14 Porão em cima todos os utensílios destinados ao seu serviço, os incensários, os garfos, as pás, as bacias, todos os utensílios do altar. Estenderão sobre tudo isso uma coberta de pele de golfinho, e lhe meterão os varais.
15 And whanne Aaron and hise sones han wlappid the seyntuarie, and alle vessels therof, in the mouyng of tentis, thanne the sones of Caath schulen entre, that thei bere the thingis wlappid, and touche not the vessels of the seyntuarie, lest thei dien.
15 Quando Aarão e seus filhos tiverem acabado de cobrir o santuário e todos os seus utensílios, ao levantarem o acampamento, os caatitas virão levá-los, mas não tocarão nas coisas santas, para que não morram. Estas são as coisas que deverão levar os filhos de Caat da tenda de reunião.
16 Thes ben the birthuns of the sones of Caath, in the tabernacle of boond of pees, on whiche Eleazar, the sone of Aaron, preest, schal be; to whois cure `the oile perteyneth to ordeyne lanternes, and the encense which is maad bi craft, and the sacrifice which is offrid euere, and the oile of anoyntyng, and what euere thing perteyneth to the ournyng of the tabernacle, and of alle vessels that ben in the seyntuarie.
16 Eleazar, filho do sacerdote Aarão, cuidará do óleo do candelabro, o incenso aromático, a oblação perpétua e o óleo para a unção, bem como da vigilância de todo o tabernáculo, com tudo o que contém, e do santuário com todos os seus utensílios."
17 And the Lord spak to Moises and to Aaron, and seide,
17 O Senhor disse a Moisés e a Aarão:
18 Nyle ye leese the puple of Caath fro the myddis of Leuytis;
18 "Velai para que a família dos caatitas não seja cortada do meio dos levitas.
19 but do ye this thing to hem, that thei lyue, and die not, if thei touchen the hooli of hooli thingis. Aaron and hise sones schulen entre, and thei schulen dispose the werkis of alle men, and thei schulen departe `what who owith to bere.
19 Fazei isso por eles a fim de que vivam e não morram quando se aproximarem do lugar santíssimo. Aarão e seus filhos entrarão, e distribuirão a cada um a carga que ele deverá levar.
20 Othere men se not bi ony curiouste tho thingis that ben in the seyntuarie, bifore that tho ben wlappid; ellis thei schulen die.
20 Não entrarão para olhar as coisas santas, nem mesmo um só instante, para que não morram"
21 And the Lord spak to Moises,
21 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
22 and seide, Take thou the summe also of the sones of Gerson, bi her housis, and meynees, and kynredis; noumbre thou
22 "Conta os filhos de Gérson, segundo suas casas patriarcais e suas famílias.
23 fro thretti yeer and aboue `til to fifti yeer alle that entren and mynystren in the tabernacle of boond of pees.
23 Recensearás todos aqueles que estão em condições de cumprir uma tarefa na tenda de reunião, da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta.
24 This is the office of the sones of Gersonytis, that thei bere the curteyns of the tabernacle, and the roof of the boond of pees, an other hilyng,
24 Eis os encargos que darás à família dos gersonitas, coisas para fazer e cargas para levar.
25 and a veil of iacynt aboue alle thingis, and the tente which hangith in the entryng of the tabernacle of the boond of pees;
25 Levarão as cortinas do tabernáculo e a Tenda de Reunião, a coberta de pele de golfinho que se põe por cima, o véu que está à entrada da tenda de reunião,
26 and the curteyns of the greet street, and the veil in the entryng, `which veil is bifor the tabernacle.
26 as cortinas do átrio, e os reposteiros da entrada da porta do átrio, em volta do tabernáculo e do altar, suas cordas e todos os utensílios de seu uso; e farão todo o serviço que se relaciona com essas coisas.
27 Whanne Aaron comaundith and hise sones, the sones of Gerson schulen bere alle thingis that perteynen to the auter, the coordis, and vessels of seruyce; and alle schulen wite, to what charge thei owen to be boundun.
27 Todo o serviço dos filhos dos gersonitas, tudo o que eles terão de levar e de fazer, estará sob as ordens de Aarão e seus filhos. Confiareis ao seu cuidado tudo o que eles deverão levar.
28 This is the office of the meynee of Gersonytis, in the tabernacle of boond of pees; and thei schulen be vndur the hond of Ythamar, the sone of Aaron, preest.
28 Este é e serviço das famílias dos filhos dos gersonitas na tenda de reunião; será executado sob a direção de Itamar, filho do sacerdote Aarão.
29 Also thou schalt noumbre the sones of Merary, bi the meynees and housis of her fadris,
29 Recensearás os filhos de Merari, segundo suas famílias e segundo suas casas patriarcais;
30 fro thretti yeer and aboue `til to fifti yeer, alle that entren to the office of her seruice, and to the ournyng of the boond of pees of witnessyng.
30 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta, recensearás todos os que estiverem em condições de fazer o serviço na tenda de reunião.
31 These ben `the chargis of hem; thei schulen bere the tablis of the tabernacle, and the barris therof, the pilers and her foundementis; also the pilers of the greet street bi cumpas,
31 Eis o que eles terão de guardar e de levar para cumprir a tarefa que lhes é confiada na tenda de reunião: as tábuas do tabernáculo, suas travessas, suas colunas, seus pedestais;
32 with her foundementis, and her stakis, and coordis; thei schulen take alle instrumentis and purtenaunce at noumbre, and so thei schulen bere.

33 This is the office of `the meynee of Meraritis, and the seruyce in the tabernacle of boond of pees; and thei schulen be vndur the hond of Ythamar, the sone of Aaron, preest.
33 Tal é o serviço das famílias dos filhos de Merari e o que eles terão a fazer na tenda de reunião sob a fiscalização de Itamar, filho do sacerdote Aarão."
34 Therfor Moises and Aaron and the princes of the synagoge noumbriden the sones of Caath, bi the kynredis and housis of her fadris,
34 Moisés, Aarão e os principais da assembléia recensearam os filhos dos caatitas segundo suas famílias e segundo suas casas patriarcais,
35 fro thretti yeer and aboue `til to the fiftithe yeer, alle that entren to the seruyce of the tabernacle of boond of pees;
35 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta, todos aqueles que estavam em condições de cumprir uma tarefa na tenda de reunião.
36 and thei weren foundun two thousynde seuene hundrid and fifti.
36 O número dos recenseados segundo suas famílias foi de 2.750.
37 This is the noumbre of the puple of Caath, which entrith in to the tabernacle of boond of pees; Moises and Aaron noumbriden these, bi the word of the Lord, bi the hond of Moises.
37 Tais foram os recenseados das famílias dos caatitas, todos os que tinham uma função a exercer na tenda de reunião. Moisés e Aarão fizeram esse recenseamento segundo a ordem que o Senhor tinha dado pela boca de Moisés.
38 And the sones of Gerson weren noumbrid, bi the kyneredis and housis of her fadris,
38 Os filhos de Gérson foram recenseados segundo suas famílias e segundo suas casas patriarcais,
39 fro thretti yeer and aboue `til to `the fiftithe yeer, alle that entren that thei mynystre in the tabernacle of boond of pees;
39 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta - todos os que estavam em condições de cumprir uma tarefa na tenda de reunião -,
40 and thei weren foundun two thousynde sixe hundrid and thretti.
40 os que foram recenseados segundo suas famílias e segundo suas casas patriarcais eram em número de 2.630.
41 This is the puple of Gersonytis, which Moises and Aaron noumbriden, bi the `word of the Lord.
41 Tais foram os recenseados dentre as famílias de Gérson, os que tinham uma função a exercer na tenda de reunião. Moisés e Aarão fizeram este recenseamento por ordem do Senhor.
42 And the sones of Merary weren noumbrid, bi the kynredis and housis of her fadris,
42 Entre as famílias dos filhos de Merari, os que foram recenseados segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais,
43 fro threttithe yeer and aboue `til to `the fiftithe yere, alle that entren to fille the customs, ether seruices, of the tabernacle of boond of pees;
43 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta - todos os que estavam em condições de exercer um ofício na tenda de reunião -,
44 `and thei weren foundun thre thousynde and two hundrid.
44 os que foram recenseados segundo suas famílias eram em número de 3.200.
45 This is the noumbre of the sones of Merari, whiche Moyses and Aaron noumbriden, bi `the comaundement of the Lord, bi the hoond of Moises.
45 Tais foram os recenseados das famílias dos filhos de Merari. Moisés e Aarão fizeram esse recenseamento segundo a ordem do Senhor a Moisés.
46 Alle that weren noumbrid of Leuytis, and whiche Moyses and Aaron and the princes of Israel maden to be noumbrid, bi the kynredis and housis of her fadris,
46 Todos os levitas recenseados por Moisés, Aarão e os principais de Israel, segundo suas famílias e segundo suas casas patriarcais,
47 fro thretti yeer and aboue `til to `the fiftithe yeer, and entriden to the seruyce of the tabernacle, and to bere chargis,
47 da idade de trinta anos para cima até os cinqüenta, todos os que estavam em condições de exercer uma função, seja de servo, seja de transportador, na tenda de reunião,
48 weren togidere eiyte thousynde fyue hundrid and foure scoor.
48 todos os que foram recenseados somaram 8.580.
49 By the `word of the Lord Moises noumbride hem, ech man bi his office and hise chargis, as the Lord comaundide to hym.
49 Fez-se esse recenseamento segundo a ordem do Senhor dada pela boca de Moisés, prescrevendo a cada um a tarefa que ele tinha a cumprir e a carga que devia levar. Fez-se o recenseamento como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
