1 In that dai Jhesus yede out of the hous, and sat bisidis the see.
1 Naquele mesmo dia Jesus saiu de casa e assentou-se à beira-mar.
2 And myche puple was gaderid to hym, so that he wente up in to a boot, and sat; and al the puple stood on the brenke.
2 Reuniu-se ao seu redor uma multidão tão grande que ele teve que entrar num barco e assentar-se nele, enquanto todo o povo ficou na praia.
3 And he spac to hem many thingis in parablis, and seide, Lo! he that sowith, yede out to sowe his seed.
3 Então lhes falou muitas coisas por parábolas, dizendo: "O semeador saiu a semear.
4 And while he sowith, summe seedis felden bisidis the weie, and briddis of the eir camen, and eeten hem.
4 Enquanto lançava a semente, parte dela caiu à beira do caminho, e as aves vieram e a comeram.
5 But othere seedis felden in to stony places, where thei hadden not myche erthe; and anoon thei sprongen vp, for thei hadden not depnesse of erthe.
5 Parte dela caiu em terreno pedregoso, onde não havia muita terra; e logo brotou, porque a terra não era profunda.
6 But whanne the sonne was risun, thei swaliden, and for thei hadden not roote, thei drieden vp.
6 Mas quando saiu o sol, as plantas se queimaram e secaram, porque não tinham raiz.
7 And other seedis felden among thornes; and thornes woxen vp, and strangeleden hem.
7 Outra parte caiu entre espinhos, que cresceram e sufocaram as plantas.
8 But othere seedis felden in to good lond, and yauen fruyt; summe an hundrid foold, an othir sixti foold, an othir thritti foold.
8 Outra ainda caiu em boa terra, deu boa colheita, a cem, sessenta e trinta por um.
9 He that hath eris of heryng, here he.
9 Aquele que tem ouvidos para ouvir, ouça! "
10 And the disciplis camen nyy, and seiden to him, Whi spekist thou in parablis to hem?
10 Os discípulos aproximaram-se dele e perguntaram: "Por que falas ao povo por parábolas? "
11 And he answeride, and seide to hem, `For to you it is youun to knowe the priuytees of the kyngdom of heuenes; but it is not youun to hem.
11 Ele respondeu: "A vocês foi dado o conhecimento dos mistérios do Reino dos céus, mas a eles não.
12 For it shal be youun to hym that hath, and he shal haue plente; but if a man hath not, also that thing that he hath shal be takun awei fro hym.
12 A quem tem será dado, e este terá em grande quantidade. De quem não tem, até o que tem lhe será tirado.
13 Therfor Y speke to hem in parablis, for thei seynge seen not, and thei herynge heren not, nether vndurstonden;
13 Por essa razão eu lhes falo por parábolas: ‘Porque vendo, eles não vêem e, ouvindo, não ouvem nem entendem’.
14 that the prophesie of Ysaie `seiynge be fulfillid `in hem, With heryng ye schulen here, and ye shulen not vndurstonde; and ye seynge schulen se, and ye shulen not se;
14 Neles se cumpre a profecia de Isaías: ‘Ainda que estejam sempre ouvindo, vocês nunca entenderão; ainda que estejam sempre vendo, jamais perceberão.
15 for the herte of this puple is greetli fattid, and thei herden heuyli with eeris, and thei han closed her iyen, lest sumtime thei seen with iyen, and with eeris heeren, and vndirstonden in herte, and thei be conuertid, and Y heele hem.
15 Pois o coração deste povo se tornou insensível; de má vontade ouviram com os seus ouvidos, e fecharam os seus olhos. Se assim não fosse, poderiam ver com os olhos, ouvir com os ouvidos, entender com o coração e converter-se, e eu os curaria’.
16 But youre iyen that seen ben blesside, and youre eeris that heren.
16 Mas, felizes são os olhos de vocês, porque vêem; e os ouvidos de vocês, porque ouvem.
17 Forsothe Y seie to you, that manye profetis and iust men coueitiden to se tho thingis that ye seen, and thei sayn not, and to heere tho thingis that ye heren, and thei herden not.
17 Pois eu lhes digo a verdade: Muitos profetas e justos desejaram ver o que vocês estão vendo, mas não viram, e ouvir o que vocês estão ouvindo, mas não ouviram.
18 Therfor here ye the parable of the sowere.
18 "Portanto, ouçam o que significa a parábola do semeador:
19 Ech that herith the word of the rewme, and vndirstondith not, the yuel spirit cometh, and rauyschith that that is sowun in his herte; this it is, that is sowun bisidis the weie.
19 Quando alguém ouve a mensagem do Reino e não a entende, o Maligno vem e lhe arranca o que foi semeado em seu coração. Este é o que foi semeado à beira do caminho.
20 But this that is sowun on the stony loond, this it is, that herith the word of God, and anoon with ioye takith it.
20 Quanto ao que foi semeado em terreno pedregoso, este é aquele que ouve a palavra e logo a recebe com alegria.
21 And he hath not roote in hym silf, but is temporal. For whanne tribulacioun and persecucioun is maad for the word, anoon he is sclaundrid.
21 Todavia, visto que não tem raiz em si mesmo, permanece por pouco tempo. Quando surge alguma tribulação ou perseguição por causa da palavra, logo a abandona.
22 But he that is sowun in thornes, is this that heerith the word, and the bisynesse of this world, and the fallace of ritchessis strangulith the word, and it is maad with outen fruyt.
22 Quanto ao que foi semeado entre os espinhos, este é aquele que ouve a palavra, mas a preocupação desta vida e o engano das riquezas a sufocam, tornando-a infrutífera.
23 But he that is sowun in to good loond, is this that herith the word, and vnderstondeth, and bryngith forth fruyt. And summe makith an hundrid fold, treuli anothir sixti fold, and another thritti fold.
23 E, finalmente, o que foi semeado em boa terra: este é aquele que ouve a palavra e a entende, e dá uma colheita de cem, sessenta e trinta por um".
24 Anothir parable Jhesus puttide forth to hem, and seide, The kyngdom of heuenes is maad lijk to a man, that sewe good seed in his feld.
24 Jesus lhes contou outra parábola, dizendo: "O Reino dos céus é como um homem que semeou boa semente em seu campo.
25 And whanne men slepten, his enemy cam, and sewe aboue taris in the myddil of whete, and wente awei.
25 Mas enquanto todos dormiam, veio o seu inimigo e semeou o joio no meio do trigo e se foi.
26 But whanne the erbe was growed, and made fruyt, thanne the taris apperiden.
26 Quando o trigo brotou e formou espigas, o joio também apareceu.
27 And the seruauntis of the hosebonde man camen, and seiden to hym, Lord, whether hast thou not sowun good seed in thi feeld? where of thanne hath it taris?
27 "Os servos do dono do campo dirigiram-se a ele e disseram: ‘O senhor não semeou boa semente em seu campo? Então, de onde veio o joio? ’
28 And he seide to hem, An enemy hath do this thing. And the seruauntis seiden to him, `Wolt thou that we goon, and gaderen hem?
28 " ‘Um inimigo fez isso’, respondeu ele. "Os servos lhe perguntaram: ‘O senhor quer que vamos tirá-lo? ’
29 And he seide, Nay, lest perauenture ye in gaderynge taris drawen vp with hem the whete bi the roote.
29 "Ele respondeu: ‘Não, porque, ao tirar o joio, vocês poderão arrancar com ele o trigo.
30 Suffre ye hem bothe to wexe in to repyng tyme; and in the tyme of ripe corne Y shal seie to the reperis, First gadere ye to gidere the taris, and bynde hem to gidere in knytchis to be brent, but gadere ye whete in to my berne.
30 Deixem que cresçam juntos até à colheita. Então direi aos encarregados da colheita: Juntem primeiro o joio e amarrem-no em feixes para ser queimado; depois juntem o trigo e guardem-no no meu celeiro’ ".
31 Another parable Jhesus puttide forth to hem, and seide, The kyngdom of heuenes is lijk to a corn of seneuey, which a man took, and sewe in his feeld.
31 E contou-lhes outra parábola: "O Reino dos céus é como um grão de mostarda que um homem plantou em seu campo.
32 Which is the leeste of alle seedis, but whanne it hath woxen, it is the moste of alle wortis, and is maad a tre; so that briddis of the eir comen, and dwellen in the bowis therof.
32 Embora seja a menor dentre todas as sementes, quando cresce torna-se a maior das hortaliças e se transforma numa árvore, de modo que as aves do céu vêm fazer os seus ninhos em seus ramos".
33 Another parable Jhesus spac to hem, The kyngdom of heuenes is lijk to sour douy, which a womman took, and hidde in thre mesuris of mele, til it were alle sowrid.
33 E contou-lhes ainda outra parábola: "O Reino dos céus é como o fermento que uma mulher tomou e misturou com uma grande quantidade de farinha, e toda a massa ficou fermentada".
34 Jhesus spac alle thes thingis in parablis to the puple, and he spac not to hem with out parablis, that it schulde be fulfillid,
34 Jesus falou todas estas coisas à multidão por parábolas. Nada lhes dizia sem usar alguma parábola,
35 that is seid bi the prophete, seiynge, Y shal opene my mouth in parablis; Y shal telle out hid thingis fro the makyng of the world.
35 cumprindo-se, assim, o que fora dito pelo profeta: "Abrirei minha boca em parábolas, Proclamarei coisas ocultas Desde a criação do mundo".
36 Thanne he lefte the puple, and cam in to an hous; and hise disciplis camen to him, and seiden, Expowne to vs the parable of taris of the feeld.
36 Então ele deixou a multidão e foi para casa. Seus discípulos aproximaram-se dele e disseram: "Explica-nos a parábola do joio no campo".
37 Which answeride, and seide, He that sowith good seed is mannus sone;
37 Ele respondeu: "Aquele que semeou a boa semente é o Filho do homem.
38 the feeld is the world; but the good seed, these ben sones of the kyngdom, but taris, these ben yuele children;
38 O campo é o mundo, e a boa semente são os filhos do Reino. O joio são os filhos do Maligno,
39 the enemye that sowith hem is the feend; and the ripe corn is the endyng of the world, the reperis ben aungels.
39 e o inimigo que o semeia é o diabo. A colheita é o fim desta era, e os encarregados da colheita são anjos.
40 Therfor as taris ben gaderid togidere, and ben brent in fier, so it shal be in the endyng of the world.
40 "Assim como o joio é colhido e queimado no fogo, assim também acontecerá no fim desta era.
41 Mannus sone shal sende hise aungels, and thei schulen gadere fro his rewme alle sclaundris, and hem that doon wickidnesse;
41 O Filho do homem enviará os seus anjos, e eles tirarão do seu Reino tudo o que faz tropeçar e todos os que praticam o mal.
42 and thei schulen sende hem in to the chymney of fier, there shal be weping and betyng to gidere of teeth.
42 Eles os lançarão na fornalha ardente, onde haverá choro e ranger de dentes.
43 Thanne iuste men schulen schyne as the sunne, in the rewme of her fadir. He that hath eeris of heryng, here he.
43 Então os justos brilharão como o sol no Reino do seu Pai. Aquele que tem ouvidos, ouça".
44 The kyngdom of heuenes is lijk to tresour hid in a feld, which a man that fyndith, hidith; and for ioye of it he goith, and sillith alle thingis that he hath, and bieth thilk feeld.
44 "O Reino dos céus é como um tesouro escondido num campo. Certo homem, tendo-o encontrado, escondeu-o de novo e, então, cheio de alegria, foi, vendeu tudo o que tinha e comprou aquele campo.
45 Eftsoone the kyngdom of heuenes is lijk to a marchaunt, that sechith good margaritis;
45 "O Reino dos céus também é como um negociante que procura pérolas preciosas.
46 but whanne he hath foundun o precious margarite, he wente, and selde alle thingis that he hadde, and bouyte it.
46 Encontrando uma pérola de grande valor, foi, vendeu tudo o que tinha e a comprou".
47 Eft the kyngdom of heuenes is lijk to a nette cast into the see, and that gaderith to gidere of al kynde of fisschis;
47 "O Reino dos céus é ainda como uma rede que é lançada ao mar e apanha toda sorte de peixes.
48 which whanne it was ful, thei drowen vp, and seten bi the brenke, and chesen the goode in to her vessels, but the yuel thei kesten out.
48 Quando está cheia, os pescadores a puxam para a praia. Então se assentam e juntam os peixes bons em cestos, mas jogam fora os ruins.
49 So it schal be in the endyng of the world. Aungels schulen go out, and schulen departe yuel men fro the myddil of iuste men.
49 Assim acontecerá no fim desta era. Os anjos virão, separarão os perversos dos justos
50 And thei shulen sende hem in to the chymnei of fier; ther shal be weping and gryntyng of teeth.
50 e lançarão aqueles na fornalha ardente, onde haverá choro e ranger de dentes".
51 Han ye vndirstonde alle these thingis? Thei seien to hym, Yhe.
51 Então perguntou Jesus: "Vocês entenderam todas essas coisas? " "Sim", responderam eles.
52 He seith to hem, Therfor euery wise man of lawe in the kyngdom of heuenes, is lijk to an hosebonde man, that bryngith forth of his tresoure newe thingis and elde.
52 Ele lhes disse: "Por isso, todo mestre da lei instruído quanto ao Reino dos céus é como o dono de uma casa que tira do seu tesouro coisas novas e coisas velhas".
53 And it was doon, whanne Jhesus hadde endid these parablis, he passide fro thennus.
53 Tendo terminado de contar estas parábolas, Jesus saiu dali.
54 And he cam in to his cuntrei, and tauyte hem in her synagogis, so that thei wondriden, and seiden, Fro whennus this wisdam and vertues camen to this?
54 Chegando à sua cidade, começou a ensinar o povo na sinagoga. Todos ficaram admirados e perguntavam: "De onde lhe vêm esta sabedoria e estes poderes miraculosos?
55 Whether `is not this the sone of a carpentere? Whether his modir be not seid Marie? and hise britheren, James, and Joseph, and Symount, and Judas? and hise sistris,
55 Não é este o filho do carpinteiro? O nome de sua mãe não é Maria, e não são seus irmãos Tiago, José, Simão e Judas?
56 whether thei alle ben not among us? Fro whennus thanne `alle thes thingis camen to this?
56 Não estão conosco todas as suas irmãs? De onde, pois, ele obteve todas essas coisas? "
57 And so thei weren sclaundrid in hym. But Jhesus seide to hem, A profete is not with oute worschip, but in his owen cuntre, and in his owen hous.
57 E ficavam escandalizados por causa dele. Mas Jesus lhes disse: "Só em sua própria terra e em sua própria casa é que um profeta não tem honra".
58 And he dide not there manye vertues, for the vnbileue of hem.
58 E não realizou muitos milagres ali, por causa da incredulidade deles.
