1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to Aaron and to hise sones,
1 Depois disse o Senhor a Moisés:
2 that thei be war of these thingis of the sones of Israel, whiche thingis ben halewid; and that they defoule not the name of thingis halewid to me, whiche thingis thei offren; Y am the Lord.
2 Dize a Arão e a seus filhos que se abstenham das coisas sagradas dos filhos de Israel, as quais eles a mim me santificam, e que não profanem o meu santo nome. Eu sou o Senhor.
3 Seie thou to hem, and to the aftir comeris of hem, Ech man of youre kynrede, `which man neiyeth to tho thingis that ben halewid, and whiche thingis the sones of Israel offreden to the Lord, in `which man is vnclennesse, schal perische bifor the Lord; Y am the Lord.
3 Dize-lhes: Todo homem dentre os vossos descendentes pelas vossas gerações que, tendo sobre si a sua imundícia, se chegar às coisas sagradas que os filhos de Israel santificam ao Senhor, aquela alma será extirpada da minha presença. Eu sou o Senhor.
4 A man of the seed of Aaron, `which man is leprouse, ethir suffrith `fletyng out of seed, schal not ete of these thingis, that ben halewid to me, til he be heelid. He that touchith an vncleene thing on a deed bodi, and fro whom the seed as of leccherie goith out, and which touchith a crepynge beeste,
4 Ninguém dentre os descendentes de Arão que for leproso, ou tiver fluxo, comerá das coisas sagradas, até que seja limpo. Também o que tocar em alguma coisa tornada imunda por causa e um morto, ou aquele de quem sair o sêmen
5 and what euer vncleene thing, whos touchyng is foul,
5 ou qualquer que tocar em algum animal que se arrasta, pelo qual se torne imundo, ou em algum homem, pelo qual se torne imundo, seja qual for a sua imundícia,
6 schal be vncleene `til to euentid, and he schal not ete these thingis, that ben halewid to me; but whanne he hath waische his fleisch in watir,
6 o homem que tocar em tais coisas será imundo até a tarde, e não comerá das coisas sagradas, mas banhará o seu corpo em água
7 and the sunne hath go doun, thanne he schal be clensid, and schal ete halewid thingis, for it is his mete.
7 e, posto o sol, então será limpo; depois comerá das coisas sagradas, porque isso é o seu pão.
8 He schal not ete a thing deed bi it silf, and takun of a beeste, nethir he schal be defoulid in tho; Y am the Lord.
8 Do animal que morrer por si, ou do que for dilacerado por feras, não comerá o homem, para que não se contamine com ele. Eu sou o Senhor.
9 Thei schulen kepe myn heestis, that thei be not suget to synne, and die in the seyntuarye, whanne thei han defoulid it; Y am the Lord that halewe you.
9 Guardarão, pois, o meu mandamento, para que, havendo-o profanado, não levem pecado sobre si e morram nele. Eu sou o Senhor que os santifico.
10 Ech alien schal not ete of thingis halewid; the hyne which is a straunger, and the hirid man of the preest, schulen not ete of tho. Sotheli these seruauntis,
10 Também nenhum estranho comerá das coisas sagradas; nem o hóspede do sacerdote, nem o jornaleiro, comerá delas.
11 whom the preest hath bouyt, and which is a borun seruaunt of his hows, schulen ete of tho.
11 Mas aquele que o sacerdote tiver comprado com o seu dinheiro, e o nascido na sua casa, esses comerão do seu pão.
12 If the `douyter of the preest is weddid to ony of the puple, sche schal not ete of these thingis that ben halewid, and of the firste fruytis;
12 Se a filha de um sacerdote se casar com um estranho, ela não comerá da oferta alçada das coisas sagradas.
13 sotheli if sche is a widewe, ether forsakun, and turneth ayen with out fre children to `the hows of hir fadir, sche schal be susteyned bi the metis of hir fadir, as a damysel was wont; ech alien hath not power to ete of tho.
13 Mas quando a filha do sacerdote for viúva ou repudiada, e não tiver filhos, e houver tornado para a casa de seu pai, como na sua mocidade, do pão de seu pai comerá; mas nenhum estranho comerá dele.
14 He that etith bi ignoraunce of halewid thingis, schal adde the fyuethe part with that that he eet, and `schal yyue to the preest in seyntuarie,
14 Se alguém por engano comer a coisa sagrada, repô-la-á, acrescida da quinta parte, e a dará ao sacerdote como a coisa sagrada.
15 and thei schulen not defoule the halewid thingis of the sones of Israel, whiche thei offren to the Lord,
15 Assim não profanarão as coisas sagradas dos filhos de Israel, que eles oferecem ao Senhor,
16 lest perauenture thei suffren the wickidnesse of her trespas, whanne thei han ete halewid thingis; Y am the Lord that `halewe hem. The Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to Aaron and to hise sones, and to alle the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, A man of the hous of Israel and of comelyngis that dwellen at hem, which offrith his offryng to the Lord, and ethir paieth avowis, ethir offrith bi his fre wille, what euer thing he offrith in to brent sacrifice of the Lord, that it be offrid bi you,
16 nem os farão levar sobre si a iniqüidade que envolve culpa, comendo as suas coisas sagradas; pois eu sou o Senhor que as santifico.

18 Fala a Arão, e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Todo homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros em Israel, que oferecer a sua oferta, seja dos seus votos, seja das suas ofertas voluntárias que oferecerem ao Senhor em holocausto,
19 it schal be a male without wem, of oxen, and of scheep, and of geet; if it hath a wem,
19 para que sejais aceitos, oferecereis macho sem defeito, ou dos novilhos, ou dos cordeiros, ou das cabras.
20 ye schulen not offre, nether it schal be acceptable.
20 Nenhuma coisa, porém, que tiver defeito oferecereis, porque não será aceita a vosso favor.
21 A man that offrith a sacrifice of pesyble thingis to the Lord, and ethir paieth auowis, ethir offrith bi fre wille, as wel of oxun as of scheep, he schal offre a beeste without wem, that it be acceptable; ech wem schal not be ther ynne.
21 E, quando alguém oferecer sacrifício de oferta pacífica ao Senhor para cumprir um voto, ou para oferta voluntária, seja do gado vacum, seja do gado miúdo, o animal será perfeito, para que seja aceito; nenhum defeito haverá nele.
22 If it is blynd, if it is brokun, if it hath a scar, if it hath whelkis, ether scabbe, ethir drie scabbe, ye schulen not offre tho beestis to the Lord, nether ye schulen brenne of tho beestis on the auter of the Lord.
22 O cego, ou quebrado, ou aleijado, ou que tiver úlceras, ou sarna, ou impigens, estes não oferecereis ao Senhor, nem deles poreis oferta queimada ao Senhor sobre o altar.
23 A man may offre wilfuli an oxe and scheep, whanne the eere and tail ben kit of; but avow may not be paied of these beestis.
23 Todavia, um novilho, ou um cordeiro, que tenha algum membro comprido ou curto demais, poderás oferecer por oferta voluntária, mas para cumprir voto não será aceito.
24 Ye schulen not offre to the Lord ony beeste, whose priuy membris ben brokun, ethir brisid, ether kit, and takun awey, and outerli ye schulen not do these thingis in youre lond.
24 Não oferecereis ao Senhor um animal que tiver testículo machucado, ou moído, ou arrancado, ou lacerado; não fareis isso na vossa terra.
25 Of `the hond of an alien ye schulen not offre looues to youre God, and what euer other thing he wole yyue, for alle thingis ben corrupt and defoulid; ye schulen not resseyue tho.
25 Nem da mão do estrangeiro oferecereis de alguma dessas coisas o pão do vosso Deus; porque a sua corrupção nelas está; há defeito nelas; não serão aceitas a vosso favor.
26 And the Lord spak to Moises,
26 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:
27 and seide, Whanne an oxe, scheep and goet ben brouyt forth `of the modris wombe, in seuene daies tho schulen be vnder `the tete of her modir; sotheli in the eiyte dai, and fro thennus forth, tho moun be offrid to the Lord,
27 Quando nascer um novilho, ou uma ovelha, ou uma cabra, por sete dias ficará debaixo de sua mãe; depois, desde o dia oitavo em diante, será aceito por oferta queimada ao Senhor.
28 whether thilke is a cow, whether `thilke is a scheep; tho schulen not be offrid in o dai with her fruytis.
28 Também, seja vaca ou seja ovelha, não a imolareis a ela e à sua cria, ambas no mesmo dia.
29 If ye offren to the Lord a sacrifice for the doyng of thankyngis, that it mai be plesaunt,
29 E, quando oferecerdes ao Senhor sacrifício de ação de graças, oferecê-lo-eis de modo a serdes aceitos.
30 ye schulen ete it in the same dai in which it is offrid; ony thing schal not leeue in the morewtid of the tother dai; Y am the Lord.
30 No mesmo dia se comerá; nada deixareis ficar dele até pela manhã. Eu sou o Senhor.
31 Kepe ye myn heestis, and do ye tho; Y am the Lord.
31 Guardareis os meus mandamentos, e os cumprireis. Eu sou o Senhor.
32 Defoule ye not myn hooli name, that Y be halewid in the myddis of the sones of Israel; Y am the Lord, that halewe you, and ledde you out of the lond of Egipt,
32 Não profanareis o meu santo nome, e serei santificado no meio dos filhos de Israel. Eu sou o Senhor que vos santifico,
33 that Y schulde be to you in to God; Y am the Lord.
33 que vos tirei da terra do Egito para ser o vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor.
