1 In that tyme, seith the Lord, Y schal be God to alle the kynredis of Israel; and thei schulen be in to a puple to me.
1 O Senhor Deus diz: — Está chegando o tempo em que eu serei o Deus de todas as
2 The Lord seith these thingis, The puple that was left of swerd, foond grace in desert; Israel schal go to his reste.
2 No deserto, tive pena daqueles que haviam escapado da morte. Quando o povo de Israel procurava descanso,
3 Fer the Lord apperide to me, and in euerlastynge charite Y louede thee; therfor Y doynge merci drow thee.
3 eu, vindo de longe, apareci a eles. Povo de Israel, eu sempre os amei e continuo a mostrar que o meu amor por vocês é eterno.
4 And eft Y schal bilde thee, and thou, virgyn Israel, schalt be bildid; yit thou schalt be ourned with thi tympans, and schalt go out in the cumpenye of pleieris.
4 Eu construirei de novo a nação. Mais uma vez, vocês pegarão os seus tamborins e dançarão de alegria.
5 Yit thou schalt plaunte vynes in the hillis of Samarie; men plauntynge schulen plaunte, and til the tyme come, thei schulen not gadere grapis.
5 Mais uma vez, vocês farão plantações de uva nos montes de Samaria, e quem plantar colherá as frutas.
6 For whi a dai schal be, wherynne keperis schulen crye in the hil of Samarie, and in the hil of Effraym, Rise ye, and stie we in to Sion, to oure Lord God.
6 Está chegando o tempo em que os vigias gritarão nas montanhas de Efraim: “Venham! Vamos subir até Sião , onde está o Senhor , nosso Deus!”
7 For the Lord seith these thingis, Jacob, make ye ful out ioye in gladnesse, and neye ye ayens the heed of hethene men; sowne ye, synge ye, and seie ye, Lord, saue thi puple, the residues of Israel.
7 O Senhor diz: “Cantem de alegria por causa de Israel, a maior de todas as nações. Cantem este hino de louvor: ‘O ele livrou o resto do povo de Israel.’
8 Lo! Y schal brynge hem fro the loond of the north, and Y schal gadere hem fro the fertheste partis of erthe; among whiche schulen be a blynd man, and crokid, and a womman with childe, and trauelynge of child togidere, a greet cumpeny of hem that schulen turne ayen hidur.
8 Eu os trarei do Norte e os ajuntarei dos lugares mais distantes da terra. Com eles virão os cegos e os aleijados, as mulheres grávidas e as que estão para dar à luz. Eles vão voltar como uma grande nação.
9 Thei schulen come in wepyng, and Y schal brynge hem ayen in merci; and Y schal brynge hem bi the strondis of watris in a riytful weie, thei schulen not spurne therynne; for Y am maad a fadir to Israel, and Effraym is my gendrid sone.
9 Quando eu os trouxer, eles virão chorando e orando. Eu os levarei para a beira de águas correntes, por uma estrada plana, onde não tropeçarão. Sou como um pai para Israel, e Efraim é o meu filho mais velho.”
10 Ye hethene men, here ye the word of the Lord, and telle ye in ylis that ben fer, and seie, He that scateride Israel, schal gadere it, and schal kepe it, as a scheepherde kepith his floc.
10 O Senhor diz ainda: “Nações, escutem o que eu, o e anunciem as minhas palavras nas ilhas e terras distantes. Eu espalhei o povo de Israel, mas vou ajuntá-lo de novo e guardá-lo como um pastor guarda o seu rebanho.
11 For the Lord ayenbouyte Jacob, and delyuerede hym fro the hond of the myytiere.
11 Eu libertei os descendentes de Jacó e os salvei das mãos de uma nação mais forte do que eles.
12 And thei schulen come, and herye in the hil of Sion; and thei schulen flowe togidere to the goodis of the Lord, on wheete, wyn, and oile, and on the fruyt of scheep, and of neet; and the soule of hem schal be as a watri gardyn, and thei schulen no more hungre.
12 E vão chegar e cantar de alegria no monte Sião; vão se alegrar com os meus presentes, com os cereais, o vinho, o azeite, o gado e os carneiros. Eles serão como um jardim bem-regado e terão tudo o que precisarem.
13 Thanne a virgyn schal be glad in a cumpenye, yonge men and elde togidere; and Y schal turne the morenyng of hem in to ioie, and Y schal coumforte hem, and Y schal make hem glad of her sorewe.
13 Então as moças, os moços e os velhos vão dançar e se alegrar. Eu os animarei e mudarei o seu choro em alegria e a sua tristeza em prazer.
14 And Y schal greetli fille the soule of prestis with fatnesse, and my puple schal be fillid with my goodis, seith the Lord.
14 Alimentarei os sacerdotes com muita comida boa e darei ao meu povo tudo o que precisar. Eu, o
15 The Lord seith these thingis, A vois of weilyng, and of wepyng, and of mourenyng, was herd an hiy; the vois of Rachel biwepynge hir sones, and not willynge to be coumfortid on hem, for thei ben not.
15 O Senhor diz: “Ouviu-se um som em Ramá, o som de um choro amargo. Era Raquel chorando pelos seus filhos; ela não quer ser consolada, pois todos estão mortos.
16 The Lord seith these thingis, Thi vois reste of wepyng, and thin iyen reste of teeres; for whi mede is to thi werk, seith the Lord; and thei schulen turne ayen fro the lond of the enemy.
16 Pare de chorar e enxugue as suas lágrimas. Tudo o que você fez pelos seus filhos será recompensado; eles voltarão da terra do inimigo. Sou eu, o
17 And hope is to thi laste thingis, seith the Lord, and thi sones schulen turne ayen to her endis.
17 Há esperança para você no futuro; os seus filhos voltarão para casa. Sou eu, o
18 I heringe herde Effraym passinge ouer; thou chastisidist me, and Y am lerned as a yong oon vntemyd; turne thou me, and Y schal be conuertid, for thou art my Lord God.
18 “Escuto estas queixas do povo de Israel: ‘Ó Deus, nós éramos como touros novos ainda não amansados, mas tu nos ensinaste a obedecer. Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus, e voltaremos a ti, pois tu és o
19 For aftir that thou conuertidist me, Y dide penaunce; and aftir that thou schewidist to me, Y smoot myn hipe; Y am schent, and Y schamede, for Y suffride the schenschipe of my yongthe.
19 Nós nos afastamos de ti, mas logo nos arrependemos. Depois que nos castigaste, curvamos a nossa cabeça em sinal de tristeza.’
20 For Effraym is a worschipful sone to me, for he is a delicat child; for sithen Y spak of hym, yit Y schal haue mynde on hym; therfor myn entrails ben disturblid on him, Y doynge merci schal haue merci on hym, seith the Lord.
20 “Povo de Israel, você é o meu filho querido, o filho que eu mais amo. Sempre que digo o seu nome, penso em você com amor. O meu coração se comove, e eu certamente terei misericórdia de você. Sou eu, o
21 Ordeyne to thee an hiy totyng place, sette to thee bitternesses; dresse thin herte in to a streiyt weie, in which thou yedist; turne ayen, thou virgyn of Israel, turne ayen to these thi citees.
21 Ponha avisos e marque a estrada; repare bem no caminho por onde você passar. Volte, povo de Israel, volte para as cidades que eram suas.
22 Hou longe, douyter of vnstidfast dwellyng, art thou maad dissolut in delices? for the Lord hath maad a newe thing on erthe, a womman schal cumpasse a man.
22 Povo rebelde, até quando você vai ficar na dúvida? Eu, o uma mulher protegendo um homem.”
23 The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Yit thei schulen seie this word in the lond of Juda, and in the citees therof, whane Y schal turne the caytifte of hem, The Lord blesse thee, thou fairnesse of riytfulnesse, thou hooli hil.
23 O Senhor Todo-Poderoso, o Deus de Israel, diz: — Quando eu trouxer os israelitas de volta à sua pátria, eles de novo dirão na terra de Judá e nas suas cidades: “Que o onde ele, o Deus de justiça, mora.”
24 And Juda, and alle citees therof schulen dwelle in it togidere, erthetilieris, and thei that dryuen flockis.
24 O povo viverá em Judá e em todas as suas cidades; e haverá lavradores e também pastores com os seus rebanhos.
25 For Y fillide greetli a feynt soule, and Y haue fillid ech hungri soule.
25 Eu animarei os cansados e darei comida a todos os que estão fracos de fome.
26 Therfor Y am as reisid fro sleep, and Y siy; and my sleep was swete to me.
26 Então eu acordei descansado e bem-disposto.
27 Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and Y schal sowe the hous of Israel and the hous of Juda with the seed of men, and with the seed of werk beestis.
27 — Eu, o Senhor , digo que está chegando o tempo em que encherei de gente e de animais as terras de Israel e de Judá.
28 And as Y wakide on hem, to drawe vp bi the roote, and to distrie, and to scatere, and to leese, and to turmente; so Y schal wake on hem, to bilde, and to plaunte, seith the Lord.
28 Assim como cuidei deles para arrancar, derrubar, arruinar, destruir e arrasar, assim também cuidarei deles para plantar e construir. Sou eu, o Senhor , quem está falando.
29 In tho daies thei schulen no more seie, The fadres eeten a sour grape, and the teeth of sones weren astonyed; but ech man schal die in his wickidnesse,
29 Quando esse tempo chegar, o povo não dirá mais: “Os pais comeram uvas verdes, mas foram os dentes dos filhos que ficaram ásperos.”
30 ech man that etith a sour grape, hise teeth schulen be astonyed.
30 Pelo contrário, quem comer uvas verdes é que vai ficar com os dentes ásperos; e cada um morrerá por causa do seu próprio pecado.
31 Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and Y schal smyte a newe boond of pees to the hous of Israel, and to the hous of Juda;
31 O Senhor Deus diz: — Está chegando o tempo em que farei uma nova
32 not bi the couenaunte which Y made with youre fadris, in the dai in which Y took the hond of hem, to lede hem out of the lond of Egipt, the couenaunte which thei made voide; and Y was Lord of hem, seith the Lord.
32 Essa aliança não será como aquela que eu fiz com os antepassados deles no dia em que os peguei pela mão e os tirei da terra do Egito. Embora eu fosse o Deus deles, eles quebraram a minha aliança. Sou eu, o Senhor , quem está falando.
33 But this schal be the couenaunte, which Y schal smyte with the hous of Israel aftir tho daies, seith the Lord; Y schal yyue my lawe in the entrails of hem, and Y schal write it in the herte of hem, and Y schal be in to God to hem, and thei schulen be in to a puple to me.
33 Quando esse tempo chegar, farei com o povo de Israel esta aliança: eu porei a minha lei na mente deles e no coração deles a escreverei; eu serei o Deus deles, e eles serão o meu povo. Sou eu, o Senhor , quem está falando.
34 And a man schal no more teche his neiybore, and a man his brother, and seie, Knowe thou the Lord; for alle schulen knowe me, fro the leeste of hem `til to the mooste, seith the Lord; for Y schal be merciful to the wickidnessis of hem, and Y schal no more be myndeful on the synne of hem.
34 Ninguém vai precisar ensinar o seu patrício nem o seu parente, dizendo: “Procure conhecer a Deus, o Senhor .” Porque todos me conhecerão, tanto as pessoas mais importantes como as mais humildes. Pois eu perdoarei os seus pecados e nunca mais lembrarei das suas maldades. Eu, o Senhor , estou falando.
35 The Lord seith these thingis, that yyueth the sunne in the liyt of dai, the ordre of the moone and of sterris in the liyt of the niyt, whiche disturblith the see, and the wawis therof sownen, the Lord of oostis is name to hym.
35 O Senhor fez o sol para ser a luz do dia, a lua e as estrelas para brilharem de noite. Deus faz o mar ficar bravo e faz rugir as suas ondas; o seu nome é
36 If these lawis failen bifore me, seith the Lord, thanne and the seed of Israel schal faile, that it be not a folk bifore me in alle daies.
36 Ele promete que, enquanto durarem as leis da natureza, Israel será sempre uma nação.
37 The Lord seith these thingis, If heuenes aboue moun be mesurid, and the foundementis of erthe bynethe be souyt out, and Y schal caste awei al the seed of Israel, for alle thingis whiche thei diden, seith the Lord.
37 Se algum dia for possível medir os céus e examinar os alicerces da terra, então eu rejeitarei o povo de Israel por causa de tudo o que ele tem feito. O
38 Lo! daies comen, seith the Lord, and a citee schal be bildid to the Lord, fro the tour of Ananeel `til to the yate of the corner.
38 — Está chegando o tempo — diz o Senhor — em que esta cidade será construída de novo, desde a torre de Hananel até o Portão da Esquina.
39 And it schal go out ouer the reule of mesure, in the siyt therof, on the hil Gareb, and it schal cumpasse Goatha,
39 Dali a linha da divisa continuará até o monte Garebe e daí vai virar na direção de Goa.
40 and al the valei of careyns, and it schal cumpasse aischis, and al the cuntrei of deth, `til to the stronde of Cedron, and til to the corner of the eest yate of horsis; the hooli thing of the Lord schal not be drawun out, and it schal no more be destried with outen ende.
40 Será sagrado para mim, o Senhor , o vale todo onde são jogados os mortos e o lixo. Serão sagrados também todos os campos que ficam além do riacho do Cedrom até o Portão dos Cavalos, a leste. Nunca mais Jerusalém será derrubada, nem destruída.
