1 In that dai this song schal be sungun in the lond of Juda. The citee of oure strengthe; the sauyour schal be set ther ynne, the wal and the `fore wal.
1 Naquele dia esta canção será cantada na terra de Judá. Nós temos uma cidade forte, salvação Deus nomeará por muros e baluartes.
2 Opene ye the yatis, and the iust folk schal entre, kepynge treuthe.
2 Abri vós os portões, para que a nação justa que conserva a verdade possa entrar nela.
3 The elde errour is gon awei; thou schalt kepe pees, pees, for thou, Lord, we hopiden in thee.
3 Tu guardarás em perfeita paz aquele, cuja mente permanece em ti, porque ele confia em ti.
4 Ye han hopid in the Lord, in euerlastynge worldis, in the Lord God, strong with outen ende.
4 Confiai vós no SENHOR eternamente, porquanto o SENHOR JEOVÁ é a força eterna.
5 For he schal bowe doun hem that dwellen an hiy, and he schal make low an hiy citee; he schal make it low `til to the erthe; he schal drawe it doun `til to the dust.
5 Porque ele derruba aqueles que habitam no alto. A cidade arrogante ele a põe abaixo. Ele a põe abaixo, ao chão. Ele a traz ao pó.
6 The foot of a pore man schal defoule it, and the steppis of nedi men schulen defoule it.
6 O pé a pisará, os pés do pobre, e os passos do necessitado.
7 The weie of a iust man is riytful, the path of a iust man is riytful to go.
7 O caminho do justo é retidão. Tu, retamente pesas a vereda do justo.
8 And in the weie of thi domes, Lord, we suffriden thee; thi name, and thi memorial is in desir of soule.
8 Sim, no caminho de teus juízos, ó SENHOR, nós temos esperado por ti. O desejo de nossa alma é para teu nome e para a lembrança de ti.
9 My soule schal desire thee in the niyt, but also with my spirit in myn entrails; fro the morewtid Y schal wake to thee. Whanne thou schalt make thi domes in erthe, alle dwelleris of the world schulen lerne riytfulnesse.
9 Com minha alma tenho eu te desejado durante a noite. Sim, com meu espírito dentro de mim te buscarei durante a alvorada, pois quando teus juízos estão na terra, os habitantes do mundo aprenderão justiça.
10 Do we merci to the wickid man, and he schal not lerne to do riytfulnesse; in the lond of seyntis he dide wickid thingis, and he schal not se the glorie of the Lord.
10 Permita que favor seja demonstrado ao perverso, contudo ele não aprenderá justiça. Na terra da justiça ele portar-se-á injustamente e não contemplará a majestade do SENHOR.
11 Lord, thin hond be enhaunsid, that thei se not; puplis hauynge enuye se, and be schent, and fier deuoure thin enemyes.
11 SENHOR, quando tua mão estiver levantada eles provavelmente não verão. Porém, eles certamente verão e serão envergonhados pela inveja deles com relação ao povo. Sim, o fogo de teus inimigos os devorará.
12 Lord, thou schalt yyue pees to vs, for thou hast wrouyt alle oure werkis in vs.
12 SENHOR, tu ordenarás paz para nós, porque também tu tens operado todas as nossas obras a nosso favor.
13 Oure Lord God, lordis hadden vs in possessioun, withouten thee; oneli in thee haue we mynde of thi name.
13 Ó SENHOR nosso Deus, outros senhores além de ti têm tido domínio sobre nós; porém, por tua causa somente faremos menção do teu nome.
14 Thei that dien, lyue not, and giauntis risen not ayen. Therfor thou hast visityd, and hast al-to broke hem, and thou hast lost al the mynde of hem; and Lord, thou hast foryoue to a folc,
14 Eles estão mortos; eles não viverão. Eles estão falecidos, não ressuscitarão. Porquanto tu os visitaste e os destruíste e fizeste toda sua memória perecer.
15 thou hast foryoue to a folc. Whether thou art glorified? thou hast maad fer fro thee all the endis of erthe.
15 Tu tens aumentado a nação; Ó SENHOR, tu tens aumentado a nação. Tu és glorificado. Tu a tens removido para longe até todos os confins da terra.
16 Lord, in angwisch thei souyten thee; in the tribulacioun of grutchyng thi doctryn to hem.
16 SENHOR, em angústia têm eles te buscado; eles derramaram copiosamente uma oração quando tua disciplina estava sobre eles.
17 As sche that conseyuede, whanne sche neiyeth sorewful to the child beryng, crieth in her sorewis, so we ben maad, Lord, of thi face.
17 Como uma mulher grávida que se aproxima do momento de seu parto está em dor, e grita durante suas contrações, assim temos nós estado aos teus olhos, Ó SENHOR.
18 We han conseyued, and we han as trauelid of child, and we han childid the spirit of helthe; we diden not riytfulnesse in erthe. Therfor the dwelleris of erthe fellen not doun; thi deed men schulen lyue,
18 Nós temos estado grávidos, nós temos estado em dor, nós temos, por assim dizer, dado à luz vento. Nós não temos produzido qualquer livramento na terra, nem os habitantes do mundo têm diminuído.
19 and my slayn men schulen rise ayen. Ye that dwellen in dust, awake, and herie; for whi the deew of liyt is thi deew, and thou schalt drawe doun the lond of giauntis in to fallyng.
19 Teus homens mortos viverão, juntamente com meu corpo morto eles se levantarão. Despertai e cantai, vós que habitais no pó, porque teu orvalho é como o orvalho das ervas e a terra irá expelir os mortos.
20 Go thou, my puple, entre in to thi beddis, close thi doris on thee, be thou hid a litil at a moment, til indignacioun passe.
20 Venha, meu povo, entra tu em direção a tuas câmaras e fecha tuas portas sobre ti. Esconde-te, por assim dizer, por um breve momento, até que a indignação passe.
21 For lo! the Lord schal go out of his place, to visite the wickidnesse of the dwellere of erthe ayens hym; and the erthe schal schewe his blood, and schal no more hile hise slayn men.
21 Porquanto, eis que o SENHOR sai do seu lugar para punir os habitantes da terra pela iniquidade deles. A terra também revelará o sangue dela, e não mais ocultará os seus mortos.
