1 And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
1 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés:
2 that thei take to me the firste fruytis; of ech man that offrith wilfuli, ye schulen take tho.
2 — Diga aos israelitas que me deem uma oferta. Receba as ofertas que eles quiserem dar de bom coração.
3 Forsothe these thingis it ben, whiche ye schulen take, gold, and siluer, and bras, iacynt,
3 Essas ofertas podem ser ouro, prata ou bronze;
4 and purpur, and reed silk twies died, and bijs, heeris of geet, and `skynnes of wetheris maad reed,
4 fios de lã azul, púrpura e vermelha; linho fino; tecido feito de pelos de cabra;
5 and skynnes of iacynt,
5 peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho e peles finas; madeira de acácia;
6 and trees of Sechym, and oile to liytis to be ordeyned, swete smellynge spiceries in to oynement, and encensis of good odour,
6 azeite para lamparinas; especiarias para a preparação do azeite de ungir e para o incenso de cheiro agradável;
7 onochym stoonys, and gemmes to ourne ephod, and the racional.

8 And thei schulen make a seyntuarie to me, and Y schal dwelle in the myddis of hem, bi al the licnesse of the tabernacle,
8 Os israelitas deverão fazer uma Tenda Sagrada para mim a fim de que eu possa morar no meio deles.
9 which Y schal schewe to thee, and of alle the vessels of ournyng therof.
9 — E você, Moisés, faça a Tenda e todos os seus móveis de acordo com o modelo que eu vou lhe mostrar.
10 And thus ye schulen make it; ioyne ye to gidere an arke of the trees of Sechym, whos lengthe haue twey cubitis and an half, the broodnesse haue a cubit and half, the hiynesse haue `in lijk maner a cubit and half.
10 — Diga aos israelitas que façam uma arca de madeira de acácia, de um metro e dez de comprimento por sessenta e seis centímetros de largura e sessenta e seis de altura.
11 And thou schalt ouergilde it with clenneste gold with ynne and with out forth; and thou schalt make a goldun crowne aboue `bi cumpas,
11 Revistam de ouro puro essa caixa, por dentro e por fora. E em toda a volta coloquem um remate de ouro.
12 and foure goldun cerclis, whiche thou schalt sette bi foure corneris of the arke; twei ceerclis be in o syde, and twei cerclis in the tother side.
12 Façam também quatro argolas de ouro e ponham nos quatro pés, ficando duas argolas de cada lado.
13 Also thou schalt make barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt hile tho with gold,
13 Façam cabos de madeira de acácia e revistam de ouro.
14 and thou schalt brynge yn bi the cerclis that ben in the sidis of the arke,
14 Enfiem os cabos nas argolas nos lados da arca, para que ela possa ser carregada.
15 that it be borun in tho, whiche schulen euere be in the ceerclis, nether schulen ony tyme be drawun out of thoo.
15 Os cabos ficarão nas argolas da arca e não serão tirados dela.
16 And thou schalt putte in to the arke the witnessing, which Y schal yyue to thee.
16 Eu lhe darei as duas placas de pedra, onde estão escritos os mandamentos; e você porá essas placas na arca.
17 And thou schalt make a propiciatorie of clenneste gold; `that is a table hilinge the arke; the lengthe therof schal holde twei cubitis and an half, the broodnesse schal holde a cubit and half.
17 — Faça também uma tampa de ouro puro, de um metro e dez de comprimento por sessenta e seis centímetros de largura.
18 Also thou schalt make on euer eithir side of `Goddis answeryng place twei cherubyns of gold, and betun out with hamer;
18 Faça dois querubins de ouro batido,
19 o cherub be in o syde of `Goddis answeryng place, and the tother in the tother side;
19 um para cada ponta da tampa. Isso deve ser feito de modo que os querubins formem uma só peça com a tampa.
20 hele thei euer either side of the propiciatorie, and holde thei forth wyngis, and hile thei `Goddis answeryng place; and biholde thei hem silf to gidere, while the faces ben turned in to the propiciatorie, with which the arke of the Lord schal be hilid,
20 Os querubins ficarão de frente um para o outro, olhando para a tampa. As suas asas ficarão abertas, cobrindo a tampa.
21 in which arke thou schalt putte the `witnessyng, which Y schal yyue to thee.
21 Coloque dentro da arca as duas placas de pedra que eu vou lhe dar e ponha a tampa na arca.
22 Fro thennus Y schal comaunde, and schal speke to thee aboue the propiciatorie, that is, fro the myddis of twei cherubyns, that schulen be on the arke of witnessyng, alle thingis whiche Y schal comaunde `bi thee to the sones of Israel.
22 Ali eu me encontrarei com você e, de cima da tampa, do meio dos dois querubins, eu lhe darei as minhas leis para o povo de Israel.
23 Also thou schalt make a boord of the trees of Sechym, hauinge twei cubitis of lengthe, and a cubit in broodnesse, and a cubit and half in hiyenesse.
23 — Você deverá fazer também uma mesa de madeira de acácia, com as seguintes medidas: oitenta e oito centímetros de comprimento por quarenta e quatro de largura e sessenta e seis de altura.
24 And thou schalt ouergilde the bord with purest gold, and thou schalt make to it a goldun brynke `bi cumpas;
24 Revista de ouro puro a mesa e coloque um remate de ouro em volta dela.
25 and `thou schalt make to that brynke a coroun rasid bitwixe foure fyngris hiy, and `thou schalt make on that another lytil goldun coroun.
25 Em volta da mesa faça um friso de quatro dedos de largura e um remate de ouro em volta do friso.
26 And thou schalt make redi foure goldun cerclis, and thou schalt put thoo in foure corners of the same boord, bi alle feet.
26 Faça também quatro argolas de ouro e ponha nos quatro cantos, perto dos quatro pés.
27 Vndur the coroun schulen be goldun cerclis, that the barris be put thorou tho, and that the boord may be borun.
27 Perto do friso deverão ser colocadas as argolas por onde passam os cabos para se carregar a mesa.
28 Thou schalt make tho barris of the trees of Sechym, and thou schalt cumpas with gold to bere the boord.
28 Esses cabos deverão ser feitos de madeira de acácia e revestidos de ouro. A mesa será carregada por esses cabos.
29 And thou schalt make redi vessels of vynegre, and viols, cenceris, and cuppis of pureste gold, in whiche fletynge sacrifices schulen be offrid.
29 Faça os pratos, os copos, as taças e as jarras que serão usados para as ofertas de vinho. Tudo isso deverá ser feito de ouro puro.
30 And thou schalt sette on the boord looues of proposicioun, in my siyt euere.
30 A mesa será colocada na frente da arca da aliança , e em cima da mesa estarão sempre os pães sagrados que são oferecidos a mim.
31 And thou schalt make a candilstike `betun forth with hamer, of clenneste gold, and thou schalt make the schaft therof, and yerdis, cuppis, and litle rundelis, and lilies comynge forth therof.
31 — Faça um candelabro de ouro puro. A sua base e a sua haste deverão ser de ouro batido. As flores que enfeitarão o candelabro, com os seus botões e as suas pétalas, formarão uma só peça com ele.
32 Sixe yerdis schulen go out of the sidis, thre of o side, and thre of the tother.
32 Dos seus lados sairão seis braços, três de um lado e três do outro.
33 Thre cuppis as in the maner of a note bi ech yerde, and litle rundelis to gidere, and a lilie, and in lijk maner thre cuppis at the licnesse of a note in the tother, and litle rundelis togidere, and a lilie; this schal be the werk of sixe yerdis, that schulen be brouyt forth of the schaft.
33 Cada um dos seis braços deverá ter três flores com o formato de flor de amendoeira, com os seus botões e as suas pétalas.
34 Forsothe in thilke candilstik e schulen be foure cuppis in the maner of a note, and litle rundels and lilies by ech cuppe;
34 — A haste do candelabro deverá ter quatro flores com o formato de flor de amendoeira, com os seus botões e as suas pétalas.
35 and litle rundelis schulen be vndir twey yerdis bi thre places, whiche yerdis to gidere ben maad sixe, comynge forth of o schaft; and therfor the litle rundelis and yerdis
35 Debaixo de cada um dos três pares de braços deverá haver um botão de amendoeira.
36 therof schulen be alle betun out with hamer, of clenneste gold.
36 Os botões, os braços e o candelabro deverão formar uma só peça de ouro puro batido.
37 And thou schalt make seuene lanternes, and thou schalt sette tho on the candilstike, that tho schyne euene ayens.
37 Faça sete lamparinas para o candelabro e coloque-as na parte de cima, de maneira que iluminem a frente dele.
38 Also tongis to `do out the snottis, and where tho thingis, that ben snottid out, ben quenchid, be maad of clenneste gold.
38 As tesouras de cortar os pavios das lamparinas e os cinzeiros deverão ser de ouro puro.
39 Al the weiyt of the candilstike with alle hise vesselis schal haue a talent of clennest gold.
39 Use trinta e quatro quilos de ouro puro para fazer o candelabro e todas as peças que o acompanham.
40 Biholde thou, and make bi the saumpler, which ys schewide to thee in the hil.
40 — E tenha o cuidado de fazer tudo de acordo com o modelo que eu lhe mostrei no monte.
