1 If cause is bitwixe ony men, and thei axen iugis, thei schulen yyue the victorie of riytfulnesse to him, whom thei perseyuen to be iust, thei schulen condempne hym of wickidnesse, whom thei perseyuen to be wickid.
1 Se houver uma controvérsia entre os homens, e vierem a juízo, para que os juízes possam julgá-los, então justificarão ao justo, e condenarão ao ímpio.
2 Sotheli if thei seen hym that synnede, worthi of betyngis, thei schulen caste him doun, and make to be betun bifor hem; also the maner of betyngis schal be for the mesure of synne,
2 E acontecerá que, se o homem ímpio for merecedor de espancamento, o juiz fará com que ele se deite e seja açoitado perante a sua face, conforme a sua culpa, por certo número de açoites.
3 so oneli that tho passe not the noumbre of fourti, lest thi brother be to-rent viliche bifore thin iyen, and go awei.
3 Poderá dar-lhe quarenta açoites, e não mais; para que, se ele exceder, e açoitá-lo acima desses muitos açoites, teu irmão não te pareça vil.
4 Thou schalt not bynde the `mouth of the oxe tredynge thi fruytis in the corn floor.
4 Tu não porás focinheira no boi, quando ele pisar o grão.
5 Whanne britheren dwellen to gidere, and oon of hem is deed with out fre children, the wijf of the deed brother schal not be weddid to anothir man, but his brothir schal take hir, and schal reise seed of his brother.
5 Se alguns irmãos habitarem juntos, e um deles morrer e não deixar filhos, a esposa do morto não poderá se casar com um estranho; o irmão de seu marido entrará a ela, e a tomará como esposa, e cumprirá a obrigação de irmão do marido para com ela.
6 And he schal clepe the firste gendrid sone `of hir bi the name `of hym, `that is, of the deed brothir, that his name be not don awei fro Israel.
6 E acontecerá que, o primogênito que ela gerar sucederá em nome de seu irmão, que está morto, para que seu nome não se apague em Israel.
7 Forsothe if he nyle take the wijf of his brother, which is due to hym bi lawe, the womman schal go to the yate of the citee; and sche schal axe the grettere men in birthe, and sche schal seie, `The brother of myn hosebonde nyle reise seed of his brother in Israel, nethir wole take me in to mariage.
7 E se o homem não quiser tomar a esposa de seu irmão, então ela irá à porta, até os anciãos, e dirá: O irmão de meu marido se recusa a levantar para seu irmão um nome em Israel; ele não quer realizar a obrigação de irmão de meu marido.
8 And anoon thei schulen make hym to be clepid, and thei schulen axe. If he answerith, Y nyle take hir to wijf;
8 Então os anciãos da sua cidade o chamarão e falarão com ele; e se insistir nisso, e disser: Não quero tomá-la,
9 the womman schal go to hym bifor the eldre men of Israel, and sche schal take awei the schoo, and sche schal spete in to his face, and schal seie, So it schal be doon to the man, that bildith not `the hows of his brother;
9 então a esposa de seu irmão virá até ele, na presença dos anciãos, e tirará o sapato dele de seu pé, e cuspirá em sua face, e responderá, dizendo: Assim seja feito àquele homem que não quiser edificar a casa de seu irmão.
10 and `the name of hym schal be clepid in Israel, The hows of the man vnschood.
10 E seu nome será chamado em Israel: a casa daquele que foi descalçado.
11 If twei men han strijf bitwixe hem silf, and oon bigynneth to stryue ayens another, and the wijf of `the tother man wole delyuere hir hosebonde fro the hond of the strongere man, and puttith hond, and `takith the schamefast membris `of hym,
11 Quando alguns homens pelejarem um contra o outro, e a esposa de um se aproximar para livrar seu marido da mão daquele que o fere, e estender a sua mão, e o pegar pelas suas partes íntimas,
12 thou schalt kitte awei `the hond of hir, nether thou schalt be bowid on hir bi ony mercy.
12 então cortarás a sua mão; o teu olho não se apiedará dela.
13 Thou schalt not haue in the bagge dyuerse weiytis,
13 Não terás em tua bolsa pesos diferentes, um grande e um pequeno;
14 a grettere and a lesse, nether a buyschel more and lesse schal be in thin hows.
14 não terás em tua casa duas medidas, uma grande e uma pequena;
15 Thou schalt haue a iust weiyte and trewe, and an euene buyschel `and trewe schal be to thee, that thou lyue in myche tyme on the lond which thi Lord God schal yyue to thee.
15 mas terás um peso justo e perfeito, medida justa e perfeita terás, para que teus dias possam ser prolongados na terra que o SENHOR teu Deus te dá.
16 For the Lord schal haue hym abhomynable that doith these thingis, and he wlatith, `ethir cursith, al vnriytfulnesse.
16 Porque todos os que fazem tais coisas, e todos os que agem injustamente são uma abominação para o SENHOR teu Deus.
17 Haue thou mynde what thingis Amalech dide to thee in the weie, whanne thou yedist out of Egipt;
17 Lembra-te do que Amaleque te fez pelo caminho, quando saístes do Egito;
18 hou he cam to thee, and killide the laste men of thin oost, that saten wery, whanne thou were disesid with hungur and trauel, and he dredde not God.
18 como ele te encontrou pelo caminho, e feriu os que iam na retaguarda, e todos os que eram fracos atrás de ti, quando estavas cansado e enfraquecido; e ele não temeu a Deus.
19 Therfor whanne thi Lord God hath youe reste to thee, and hath maad suget alle naciouns `bi cumpas, in the lond which he bihiyte to thee, thou schalt do awei `the name of hym vndur heuene; be thou war lest thou foryete.
19 E acontecerá que, quando o SENHOR teu Deus te tiver dado descanso de todos os teus inimigos à tua volta, na terra que o SENHOR teu Deus te dá como herança, para que a possuas, que apagarás a lembrança de Amaleque de debaixo dos céus; não te esqueças disso.
