1 In that tyme the Lord seide to me, Hewe thou twei tablis of stoon to thee, as the formere weren; and stie thou to me `in to the hil. And thou schalt make an arke,
1 Naquele tempo o SENHOR me disse: Talha duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, e vem até mim no monte, e faz uma arca de madeira.
2 `ether a cofere, of tree, and Y schal write in the tablis, the wordis that weren in these tablis whiche thou brakist bifore; and thou schalt putte tho tablis in to the arke.
2 E escreverei nas tábuas as palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas que quebraste, e as porás na arca.
3 Therfor Y made an ark of the trees of Sechim, and whanne Y hadde hewe twei tablis of stoon, at the licnesse of the formere tablis, Y stiede in to the hil, and hadde the tablis in the hondis.
3 E fiz uma arca de madeira de acácia, e talhei duas tábuas de pedra como as primeiras, e subi ao monte, levando as duas tábuas na minha mão.
4 And he wroot in the tablis, bi that that he `hadde writun bifore, ten wordis, whiche the Lord spak to you in the hil, fro the myddis of the fyer, whanne the puple was gaderid, and he yaf the tablis to me.
4 E ele escreveu nas tábuas, conforme a primeira escritura, os dez mandamentos, que o SENHOR vos falou no monte, do meio do fogo, no dia da assembleia; e o SENHOR as deu a mim.
5 And Y turnide ayen fro the hil, and cam doun, and puttide the tablis in to the arke which Y hadde maad, `whiche tablis ben there hidur to, as the Lord comaundide to me.
5 E me virei e desci do monte, e coloquei as tábuas na arca que havia feito; e ali elas estão, como o SENHOR me ordenou.
6 Forsothe the sones of Israel moueden tentis fro Beroth of the sones of Jachan in to Mosera, where Aaron was deed, and biried, for whom his sone Eleazar was set in preesthod.
6 E os filhos de Israel empreenderam sua jornada desde Beerote dos filhos de Jaacã até Mosera; ali morreu Arão, e ali foi sepultado; e Eleazar, seu filho, ministrou na função de sacerdote em seu lugar.
7 Fro thennus thei camen in to Galgad; fro which place thei yeden forth, and settiden tentis in Jehabatha, in the lond of watris and of strondis.
7 Dali seguiram viagem até Gudgoda; e desde Gudgoda até Jotbatá, uma terra de ribeiros de águas.
8 In that tyme Y departide the lynage of Leuy, that it schulde bere the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, and schulde stonde bifor hym in seruyce, and schulde blesse in his name til in to present dai.
8 Naquela ocasião, o SENHOR separou a tribo de Levi, para que levasse a arca do pacto do SENHOR, para estarem de pé diante do SENHOR, para o ministrar, e para abençoar no seu nome, até este dia.
9 For which thing Leuy hadde not part, nether possession with hise brithren, for the Lord hym silf is his possessioun, as thi Lord God bihiyte to hym.
9 Por isso, Levi não tem parte nem herança com seus irmãos; o SENHOR é a sua herança, conforme o SENHOR teu Deus prometeu a ele.
10 Forsothe Y stood in the hil as bifore, fourti daies and fourti niytis, and the Lord herde me also in this tyme, and nolde leese thee.
10 E fiquei no monte conforme a primeira vez, quarenta dias e quarenta noites, e o SENHOR também me ouviu naquele tempo, e o SENHOR não quis destruir-te.
11 And he seide to me, Go thou, and go bifor this puple, that it entre, and welde the lond which Y swoor to her fadris, that Y schulde yeue to hem.
11 E o SENHOR me disse: Levanta-te, segue a tua jornada à frente do povo, para que possam ir e possuir a terra, que eu jurei dar aos seus pais.
12 And now, Israel, what axith thi Lord God of thee, no but that thou drede thi Lord, and go in hise weies, and that thou loue hym, and serue thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule;
12 E agora, Israel, o que o SENHOR teu Deus exige de ti, apenas que temas ao SENHOR teu Deus, que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e que o ames, e que sirvas ao SENHOR teu Deus com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma,
13 and that thou kepe the comaundementis of thi Lord God, and the cerymonyes of hym, whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai, that it be wel to thee.
13 que guardes os mandamentos do SENHOR e os seus estatutos, que te ordeno neste dia, para o teu bem?
14 Lo! heuene is of thi Lord God, and heuene of heuene; the erthe and alle thingis that ben ther ynne ben hise;
14 Eis que os céus e os céus dos céus são do SENHOR teu Deus, a terra também, com tudo o que nela existe.
15 and netheles the Lord was glued to thi fadris, and louede hem, and he chees her seed after hem, and you of alle folkis, as it is preued to dai.
15 Somente o SENHOR teve deleite em teus pais, para amá-los, e ele escolheu a sua semente depois deles, vós acima de todos os povos, como é neste dia.
16 Therfor circumcide ye the prepucie, `ethir vnclennesse, of youre herte, and no more make ye harde youre nol.
16 Portanto, circuncidai o prepúcio do vosso coração, e não sejais mais obstinados.
17 For youre Lord God hym silf is God of goddis, and Lord of lordis, `God greet, and miyti, and feerdful, which takith not persoone, nether yiftis.
17 Porque o SENHOR vosso Deus é Deus dos deuses, e Senhor dos senhores, um grande Deus, poderoso e terrível, que não faz acepção de pessoas, nem aceita recompensas;
18 He makith doom to the fadirles, and modirles, and to the widewe; he loueth a pilgrym, and yyueth to hym lyiflode and clothing.
18 ele faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva, e ama o estrangeiro, dando-lhe alimento e vestes.
19 And therfor `loue ye pilgryms, for also ye weren comelyngis in the lond of Egipt.
19 Portanto, amai o estrangeiro; pois fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.
20 Thou schalt drede thi Lord God, and thou schalt serue hym aloone, and thou schalt cleue to hym, and thou schalt swere in his name.
20 Temerás ao SENHOR teu Deus; a ele servirás, e a ele te apegarás, e jurarás pelo seu nome.
21 He is thi preisyng, and thi God, that made to thee these grete dedis, and ferdful, whiche thin iyen siyen.
21 Ele é o teu louvor, e ele é o teu Deus, que fez por ti essas coisas grandes e terríveis, que os teus olhos viram.
22 In seuenti men thi fadris yeden doun in to Egipt, and lo! now thi Lord God hath multiplied thee as the sterris of heuene.
22 Os teus pais desceram ao Egito com setenta pessoas, e agora o SENHOR fez com que sejas uma multidão, como as estrelas dos céus.
