1 In the daies of hym Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, stiede, and Joachym was maad seruaunt to hym by thre yeeris; and eft Joachym rebellide ayens hym.
1 Nos seus dias, Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia subiu, e Jeoaquim se tornou seu servo por três anos; então, ele se voltou e se rebelou contra ele.
2 And the Lord sente to hym theuys of Caldeis, and theuys of Sirie, and theuys of Moab, and theuys of the sones of Amon; and he sente hem `in to Juda, that he schulde destrie it, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak bi hise seruauntis prophetis.
2 E o SENHOR enviou contra ele bandos dos caldeus, e bandos dos sírios, e bandos dos moabitas, e bandos dos filhos de Amom, e os enviou contra Judá para destruí-la, segundo a palavra do SENHOR, a qual ele falou por intermédio dos seus servos, os profetas.
3 Forsothe this was doon bi the word of the Lord ayens Juda, that he schulde do awei it bifor him silf, for the synnes of Manasses, and alle thingis whiche he dide,
3 Certamente, pelo mandamento do SENHOR sobreveio isto a Judá, para removê-los da sua vista, pelos pecados de Manassés, segundo tudo o que ele fez;
4 and for the giltles blood which he sched out; and he fillide Jerusalem with the blood of innocentis; and for this thing the Lord nolde do mercy.
4 e também pelo sangue inocente que ele derramou; porque ele encheu Jerusalém com sangue inocente; o qual o SENHOR não haveria de perdoar.
5 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Joachim, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda?
5 Ora, o restante dos atos de Jeoaquim, e tudo o que ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Judá?
6 And Joachym slept with hise fadris, and Joakyn, his sone, regnyde for him.
6 Assim, Jeoaquim dormiu com os seus pais; e Joaquim, o seu filho, reinou no seu lugar.
7 And the kyng of Egipt addide no more to go out of hys lond; for the kyng of Babiloyne hadde take alle thingis that weren the kyngis of Egipt, fro the strond of Egipt `til to the flood Eufrates.
7 E o rei do Egito não voltou mais a sair da sua terra; porque o rei de Babilônia havia tomado, desde o rio do Egito até o rio Eufrates, tudo o que pertencia ao rei do Egito.
8 Joakyn was of eiytene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde thre monethis in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Nahesta, douytir of Helnathan of Jerusalem.
8 Joaquim tinha dezoito anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou em Jerusalém três meses. E o nome da sua mãe era Neústa, a filha de Elnatã, de Jerusalém.
9 And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis whiche hise fadir hadde do.
9 E ele fez aquilo que era mau à vista do SENHOR, segundo tudo o que o seu pai havia feito.
10 In that tyme the seruauntis of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, stieden `in to Jerusalem, and the citee was cumpassid with bisegyngis.
10 Naquele tempo, os servos de Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, subiram contra Jerusalém, e a cidade foi sitiada.
11 And Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, cam to the citee with hise seruauntis, that he schulde fiyte ayens it.
11 E Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, veio contra a cidade, e os seus servos a sitiaram.
12 And Joakyn, kyng of Juda, yede out to the king of Babiloyne, he, and his modir, and hise seruauntis, and hise princis, and hise chaumburleyns; and the king of Babiloyne resseyuede him, in the eiythe yeer of `his rewme.
12 E Joaquim, o rei de Judá, saiu contra o rei de Babilônia, ele, e a sua mãe, e os seus servos, e os seus príncipes, e os seus oficiais; e o rei de Babilônia o tomou no oitavo ano do seu reinado.
13 And he brouyte forth fro thens alle the tresours of the `hous of the Lord, and the tresours of the kingis hous; and he beet togider alle the goldun vessels, whiche Salomon, king of Israel, hadde maad in the temple of the Lord, bi the `word of the Lord.
13 E ele carregou dali todos os tesouros da casa do SENHOR, e os tesouros da casa do rei, e cortou em pedaços todos os vasos de ouro que Salomão, rei de Israel, havia feito no templo do SENHOR, como o SENHOR tinha dito.
14 And he translatide al Jerusalem, and alle the princis, and alle the strong men of the oost, ten thousynde, in to caitiftee, and ech crafti man, and goldsmyyt; and no thing was left, outakun the pore puplis of the lond.
14 E ele removeu dali toda a Jerusalém, e todos os príncipes, e todos os homens fortes e valentes, a saber, dez mil cativos, e todos os artesãos e ferreiros; nenhum permaneceu, salvo a classe mais pobre do povo da terra.
15 Also he translatide Joakyn in to Babiloyne, and the moder of the king, `the wyues of the king, and the chaumburleyns of the king; and he ledde the iugis of the lond in to caitifte fro Jerusalem in to Babiloyne;
15 E ele removeu Joaquim para Babilônia, e a mãe do rei, e as esposas do rei, e os seus oficiais, e os poderosos da terra, e os levou cativos de Jerusalém para Babilônia.
16 and alle stronge men, seuene thousynde; and crafti men and goldsmyythis, a thousynde; alle stronge men and werriouris; and the king of Babiloyne ledde hem prisoners in to Babiloyne.
16 E todos os homens de poder, a saber, sete mil, e mil artesãos e ferreiros, todos que eram fortes e aptos para a guerra, mesmo assim o rei de Babilônia trouxe cativos para Babilônia.
17 And he ordeynede Mathanye, the brother of his fadir, for hym; and puttide to hym the name Sedechie.
17 E o rei de Babilônia fez de Matanias, o irmão do seu pai, rei no seu lugar, e modificou o seu nome para Zedequias.
18 Sedechie hadde the oon and twentithe yeer of age, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde eleuene yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Amychal, douyter of Jeremye of Lobna.
18 Zedequias tinha vinte e um anos de idade quando começou a reinar; e reinou onze anos em Jerusalém. E o nome da sua mãe era Hamutal, a filha de Jeremias, de Libna.
19 And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Joachym hadde do.
19 E ele fez aquilo que era mau à vista do SENHOR, segundo tudo o que Jeoaquim havia feito.
20 For the Lord was wrooth ayens Jerusalem, and ayens Juda, til he caste hem awey fro his face; and Sedechie yede awei fro the king of Babiloyne.
20 Porquanto, por meio da ira do SENHOR isto sucedeu em Jerusalém e Judá, até que ele os lançou fora da sua presença, e Zedequias se rebelou contra o rei de Babilônia.
