1 In al maner fornycacioun is herd among you, and siche fornycacioun, which is not among hethene men, so that summan haue the wijf of his fadir.
1 É relatado frequentemente que há fornicação entre vós, e fornicação tal, que nem ainda entre os gentios é mencionado, que alguém possua a mulher de seu pai.
2 And ye ben bolnyd with pride, and not more hadden weilyng, that he that dide this werk, be takun awei fro the myddil of you.
2 E vós estais convencidos, e nem vos haveis entristecido para que fosse tirado do meio de vós o que fez esta ação.
3 And Y absent in bodi, but present in spirit, now haue demyd as present hym that hath thus wrouyt, whanne
3 Pois eu, na verdade, ainda que ausente no corpo, mas presente no espírito, já julguei, como se eu estivesse presente, a respeito daquele que fez tal ato,
4 ye ben gaderid togidere in the name of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, and my spirit, with the vertu of the Lord Jhesu,
4 em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, reunidos vós e o meu espírito, com o poder de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo,
5 to take siche a man to Sathanas, in to the perischyng of fleisch, that the spirit be saaf in the dai of oure Lord Jhesu Crist.
5 o tal seja entregue a Satanás para destruição da carne, para que o espírito seja salvo no dia do Senhor Jesus.
6 Youre gloriyng is not good. Witen ye not, that a litil sourdow apeyrith al the gobet?
6 A vossa vanglória não é boa. Não sabeis que um pouco de fermento leveda a massa toda?
7 Clense ye out the old sourdow, that ye be new sprengyng togidere, as ye ben therf. For Crist offrid is oure pask.
7 Purificai-vos, pois, do fermento velho, para que sejais uma nova massa, assim como estais sem fermento. Porque Cristo, nossa Páscoa, foi sacrificado por nós;
8 Therfor ete we, not in eld sourdowy, nether in sourdowy of malice and weywardnesse, but in therf thingis of clernesse and of treuthe.
8 portanto, celebremos a festa, não com o fermento velho, nem com o fermento da maldade e da malícia, mas com os pães não fermentados da sinceridade e da verdade.
9 I wroot to you in a pistle, that ye be not medlid with letchours,
9 Eu vos tenho escrito por carta para não vos ajuntardes com os fornicadores;
10 not with letchours of this world, ne coueitous men, ne raueynours, ne with men seruynge to mawmetis, ellis ye schulden haue go out of this world.
10 porém não quis dizer com os fornicadores deste mundo, ou com os avarentos, ou com os extorquidores, ou com os idólatras; porque então vos seria necessário sair do mundo.
11 But now Y wroot to you, that ye be not meynd. But if he that is named a brother among you, and is a letchour, or coueitouse, or seruynge to ydols, or cursere, or ful of drunkenesse, or raueynour, to take no mete with siche.
11 Mas, agora, escrevi que não vos mantenhais na companhia de qualquer homem que chamado de irmão seja um fornicador, ou avarento, ou idólatra, ou caluniador, ou beberrão, ou extorquidor; com o tal nem ainda comais.
12 For what is it to me to deme of hem that ben with oute forth? Whether ye demen not of thingis that ben with ynne forth?
12 Porque, que tenho eu em julgar também os que estão de fora? Não fazeis julgamento vós os que estão dentro?
13 For God schal deme hem that ben withouten forth. Do ye awei yuel fro you silf.
13 Mas Deus julga os que estão de fora. Portanto, apartai dentre vós, essa pessoa perversa.
