1 When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
1 E quando ele abriu o sétimo selo, houve silêncio no céu por quase meia hora.
2 Then I saw the seven angels who are in the presence of God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
2 E eu vi os sete anjos que estavam em pé diante de Deus; e a eles foram dadas sete trombetas.
3 And another angel came and stood close to the altar, carrying a censer of gold; and abundance of incense was given to him that he might place it with the prayers of all God's people upon the golden altar which was in front of the throne.
3 E outro anjo veio e se pôs em pé junto ao altar, tendo um incensário de ouro. E foi-lhe dado muito incenso para que ele o ofertasse com as orações de todos os santos sobre o altar de ouro que estava diante do trono.
4 And the smoke of the incense rose into the presence of God from the angel's hand, and mingled with the prayers of His people.
4 E a fumaça do incenso, que vinha com as orações dos santos, subia da mão do anjo até diante de Deus.
5 So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and flung it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder, and voices, and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
5 E o anjo tomou o incensário, e o encheu com o fogo do altar, e lançou-o dentro da terra; e houve vozes, e trovões, e relâmpagos, e um terremoto.
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made preparations for blowing them.
6 E os sete anjos que tinham as sete trombetas prepararam-se para soá-las.
7 The first blew his trumpet; and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, falling upon the earth; and a third part of the earth was burnt up, and a third part of the trees and all the green grass.
7 O primeiro anjo tocou, e em seguida houve granizo e fogo misturados com sangue, e eles foram lançados sobre a terra; e a terceira parte das árvores foi queimada, e toda a grama verde foi queimada.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet; and what seemed to be a great mountain, all ablaze with fire, was hurled into the sea; and a third part of the sea was turned into blood.
8 E o segundo anjo soou, e algo, como se fosse uma grande montanha ardendo em fogo, foi lançado dentro do mar; e a terça parte do mar se transformou em sangue.
9 And a third part of the creatures that were in the sea –those that had life– died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed.
9 E a terça parte das criaturas que estavam no mar, que tinham vida, morreu; e a terça parte dos navios foi destruída.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet; and there fell from Heaven a great star, which was on fire like a torch. It fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the springs of water.
10 E o terceiro anjo soou, e caiu uma grande estrela do céu, queimando como se fosse uma tocha, e caiu sobre a terça parte dos rios, e sobre as fontes de águas.
11 The name of the star is `Wormwood;' and a third part of the waters were turned into wormwood, and vast numbers of the people died from drinking the water, because it had become bitter.
11 E o nome da estrela se chama Absinto; e a terça parte das águas se transformou em absinto; e muitos homens morreram por causa das águas, porque elas se tornaram amargas.
12 Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet; and a curse fell upon a third part of the sun, a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars, so that a third part of them were darkened and for a third of the day, and also of the night, there was no light.
12 E o quarto anjo soou, e a terça parte do sol foi atingida, e a terça parte da lua, e a terça parte das estrelas; de modo que a terça parte delas se escureceu, e o dia não brilhou para uma terça parte deles, e da mesma forma, a noite.
13 Then I looked, and I heard a solitary eagle crying in a loud voice, as it flew across the sky, »Alas, alas, alas, for the inhabitants of the earth, because of the significance of the remaining trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!«
13 E eu olhei, e ouvi um anjo voando pelo meio do céu, dizendo em voz alta: Ai, ai, ai dos habitantes da terra por causa das outras vozes das trombetas dos três anjos que ainda estão para soar!
