1 Then I saw another marvel in Heaven, great and wonderful–there were seven angels bringing seven plagues. These are the last plagues, because in them God's anger has found full expression.
1 E eu vi outro sinal no céu, grande e admirável: Sete anjos, tendo as sete últimas pragas; porque nelas é consumada a ira de Deus.
2 And I saw what seemed to be a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had gained the victory over the Wild Beast and over his statue and the number of his name, standing by the sea of glass and having harps which belonged to God.
2 E eu vi como se fosse um mar de vidro misturado com fogo; e aos que haviam obtido a vitória sobre a besta, e sobre a sua imagem, e sobre sua marca, e sobre o número de seu nome, ficarem sobre o mar de vidro, tendo as harpas de Deus.
3 And they were singing the song of Moses, God's servant, and the song of the Lamb. Their words were, »Great and wonderful are Thy works, O Lord God, the Ruler of all. Righteous and true are Thy ways, O King of the nations.
3 E eles cantam a canção de Moisés, o servo de Deus, e a canção do Cordeiro, dizendo: Grandes e maravilhosas são tuas obras, Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso; justos e verdadeiros são os teus caminhos, tu, Rei de santos.
4 Who shall not be afraid, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For Thou alone art holy. All nations shall come and shall worship Thee, because the righteousness of all that Thou hast done has been made manifest.«
4 Quem não te temerá, ó Senhor, e não glorificará o teu nome? Porque tu somente és santo; porque todas as nações virão e adorarão diante de ti, porque os teus juízos foram feitos manifestos.
5 After this, when the doors of the sanctuary of the tent of witness in Heaven were opened, I looked;
5 E depois disto eu olhei, e eis que o templo do tabernáculo do testemunho no céu estava aberto.
6 and there came out of the sanctuary the seven angels who were bringing the seven plagues. The angels were clad in pure, bright linen, and had girdles of gold across their breasts.
6 E os sete anjos saíram do templo, tendo as sete pragas, vestidos de linho puro e branco, e cingidos com cintos de ouro nos seus peitos.
7 And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven bowls of gold, full of the anger of God who lives until the Ages of the Ages.
7 E um dos quatro animais deu aos sete anjos sete taças de ouro, cheias da ira de Deus, que vive para sempre e sempre.
8 And the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the sanctuary till the seven plagues brought by the seven angels were at an end.
8 E o templo foi preenchido com a fumaça da glória de Deus, e de seu poder; e nenhum homem era capaz de entrar no templo, até que as sete pragas dos sete anjos fossem cumpridas.
