1 Յիսուս դարձեալ առակներով խօսեցաւ անոնց եւ ըսաւ.
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 «Երկինքի թագաւորութիւնը կը նմանի թագաւորի մը՝ որ հարսանիք ըրաւ իր որդիին, ու ղրկեց իր ծառաները՝ կանչելու հարսանիքին հրաւիրեալները.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 սակայն անոնք չուզեցին գալ:
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Դարձեալ ուրիշ ծառաներ ղրկեց եւ ըսաւ. “Ըսէ՛ք հրաւիրեալներուն. «Ահա՛ պատրաստեցի իմ ճաշս. զուարակներս ու գէր անասուններս մորթուած են, եւ ամէն բան պատրաստ է. եկէ՛ք հարսանիքի»”:
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Բայց անոնք անհոգութիւն ընելով՝ գացին մէկը իր արտը, ու միւսը՝ իր առեւտուրին:
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Ուրիշներ՝ բռնեցին անոր ծառաները, նախատեցին եւ սպաննեցին:
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Թագաւորն ալ՝ երբ լսեց՝ բարկացաւ. ղրկեց իր զօրքերը, կորսնցուց այդ մարդասպանները ու այրեց անոնց քաղաքը:
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Այն ատեն ըսաւ իր ծառաներուն. “Հարսանիքը պատրաստ է, բայց հրաւիրեալները արժանի չէին:
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ուրեմն գացէ՛ք դէպի ճամբաներուն գլուխները, եւ ո՛վ որ գտնէք՝ հրաւիրեցէ՛ք հարսանիքի”:
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Այդ ծառաները դուրս ելան՝ դէպի ճամբաներուն գլուխները, եւ ո՛վ որ գտան՝ թէ՛ չար, թէ՛ բարի, բոլորն ալ հաւաքեցին. ու հարսնետունը լեցուեցաւ հրաւիրեալներով:
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Երբ թագաւորը մտաւ՝ տեսնելու հարսնեւորները, տեսաւ մարդ մը՝ որ հագած չէր հարսանիքի հագուստ:
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Ըսաւ անոր. “Ընկե՛ր, ի՞նչպէս մտար հոս՝ առանց հարսանիքի հագուստի”: Ան ալ պապանձեցաւ:
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Այն ատեն թագաւորը ըսաւ սպասարկուներուն. “Կապեցէ՛ք ասոր ոտքերն ու ձեռքերը, եւ առէ՛ք ու նետեցէ՛ք զայն դուրսի խաւարը. հոն պիտի ըլլայ լաց եւ ակռաներու կրճտում ”:
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Որովհետեւ կանչուածները շատ են, բայց ընտրուածները՝ քիչ»:
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Այն ատեն Փարիսեցիները գացին խորհրդակցելու, թէ ի՛նչպէս խօսքով ձգեն զայն ծուղակի մէջ:

16 Ու ղրկեցին անոր իրենց աշակերտները՝ Հերովդէսեաններուն հետ, եւ ըսին. «Վարդապե՛տ, գիտենք թէ ճշմարտախօս ես ու ճշմարտութեամբ կը սորվեցնես Աստուծոյ ճամբան, եւ հոգ չես ըներ ոեւէ մէկուն համար, քանի որ երեսպաշտութիւն չես ըներ մարդոց:
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Ուստի ըսէ՛ մեզի, ի՞նչ է քու կարծիքդ. “Արտօնուա՞ծ է տուրք տալ կայսրին՝ թէ ոչ”»:
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Յիսուս՝ գիտնալով անոնց չարամտութիւնը՝ ըսաւ. «Ինչո՞ւ կը փորձէք զիս, կեղծաւորնե՛ր:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Ցո՛յց տուէք ինծի տուրքին դրամը»: Անոնք դահեկան մը բերին իրեն:
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ըսաւ անոնց. «Որո՞ւնն են այս պատկերն ու գրութիւնը»:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ըսին անոր. «Կայսրի՛ն»: Այն ատեն ըսաւ անոնց. «Ուրեմն ինչ որ կայսրինն է՝ տուէ՛ք կայսրին, եւ ինչ որ Աստուծոյ է՝ Աստուծո՛յ»:
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Երբ լսեցին՝ զարմացան, ու թողուցին զայն եւ գացին:
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Նոյն օրը անոր քով եկան Սադուկեցիները, որոնք կ՚ըսեն թէ յարութիւն չկայ, ու հարցուցին անոր.
23 — ausente —
24 «Վարդապե՛տ, Մովսէս ըսաւ. “Եթէ մէկը մեռնի առանց զաւակի, անոր եղբայրը թող ամուսնանայ անոր կնոջ հետ, եւ զարմ հանէ իր եղբօր”:
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Ուրեմն եօթը եղբայրներ կային մեր քով: Առաջինը ամուսնացաւ ու վախճանեցաւ, եւ զարմ չունենալուն համար՝ իր կինը թողուց իր եղբօր:
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Նմանապէս ալ երկրորդն ու երրորդը՝ մինչեւ եօթներորդը:
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ամենէն ետք կինն ալ մեռաւ:
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ուրեմն, յարութեան ատեն՝ այդ եօթնէն որո՞ւն կինը պիտի ըլլայ. որովհետեւ բոլորն ալ ունեցան զայն իբր կին»:
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց. «Դուք մոլորած էք. ո՛չ Գիրքերը գիտէք, ո՛չ ալ Աստուծոյ զօրութիւնը:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Քանի որ յարութեան ատեն՝ ո՛չ կ՚ամուսնանան եւ ո՛չ ամուսնութեան կը տրուին, հապա երկինքի մէջ՝ Աստուծոյ հրեշտակներուն պէս են:
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Բայց մեռելներուն յարութեան մասին չէ՞ք կարդացեր Աստուծմէ ձեզի ըսուած խօսքը.
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “Ե՛ս եմ Աբրահամի Աստուածը, Իսահակի Աստուածը եւ Յակոբի Աստուածը”: Աստուած մեռելներուն Աստուածը չէ, հապա՝ ողջերուն»:
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Բազմութիւնը ասիկա լսելով՝ կ՚ապշէր անոր ուսուցումին վրայ:
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Բայց Փարիսեցիները՝ երբ լսեցին թէ ան պապանձեցուց Սադուկեցիները, տեղ մը հաւաքուեցան,
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 եւ անոնցմէ օրինական մը հարցուց՝ զայն փորձելով.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 «Վարդապե՛տ, ո՞ր պատուիրանը մեծ է Օրէնքին մէջ»:
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «“Սիրէ՛ Տէրը՝ քու Աստուածդ՝ ամբողջ սիրտովդ, ամբողջ անձովդ եւ ամբողջ միտքովդ”:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ա՛յս է առաջին ու մեծ պատուիրանը:
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Եւ երկրորդը՝ ասոր նման. “Սիրէ՛ ընկերդ քու անձիդ՝՝ պէս”:
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Այս երկու պատուիրաններէն կախուած են ամբողջ Օրէնքն ու Մարգարէները»:
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Երբ Փարիսեցիները հաւաքուեցան, Յիսուս հարցուց անոնց.
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 «Քրիստոսի մասին ի՞նչ է ձեր կարծիքը. որո՞ւ որդին է»:
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Ըսին իրեն. «Դաւիթի՛»: Յիսուս ըսաւ անոնց. «Հապա ի՞նչպէս Դաւիթ Հոգիով զայն Տէր կը կոչէ ու կ՚ըսէ.
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “Տէրը ըսաւ իմ Տէրոջս. «Բազմէ՛ իմ աջ կողմս, մինչեւ որ քու թշնամիներդ պատուանդան դնեմ ոտքերուդ»”:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Ուրեմն եթէ Դաւիթ զայն Տէր կը կոչէ, ի՞նչպէս ան իր որդին կ՚ըլլայ»:
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Ո՛չ մէկը կրնար խօսքո՛վ մը պատասխանել անոր: Այդ օրէն ետք՝ ո՛չ մէկը կը յանդգնէր բան մը հարցնել անոր:
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
