1 Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, praise Yahweh’s name.
1 Louvado seja o S enhor ! Sim, louvem, ó servos do S louvem o nome do S
2 Blessed be Yahweh’s name, from this time forward and forever more.
2 Bendito seja o nome do S enhor , agora e para sempre.
3 From the rising of the sun to its going down, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.
3 Em todo lugar, do Oriente ao Ocidente, louvem o nome do S
4 Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.
4 Pois o S enhor é engrandecido acima das nações; sua glória está acima dos céus.
5 Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,
5 Quem se compara ao S enhor , nosso Deus, entronizado nas alturas?
6 who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?
6 Ele se inclina para ver o que acontece nos céus e na terra.
7 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,
7 Levanta do pó o necessitado e ergue do lixo o pobre.
8 that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
8 Coloca-os entre príncipes, entre os príncipes de seu povo.
9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
