1 Favoreceste a tua terra, Senhor ; restauraste a prosperidade de Jacó.
2 \85:1\To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favorable to thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Perdoaste a iniquidade de teu povo, encobriste todos os seus pecados.
3 \85:2\Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 A tua indignação, reprimiste-a toda; do furor da tua ira te desviaste.
4 \85:3\Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thy anger.
4 Restabelece-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e retira de sobre nós a tua ira.
5 \85:4\Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy anger towards us to cease.
5 Estarás para sempre irado contra nós? Prolongarás a tua ira por todas as gerações?
6 \85:5\Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thy anger to all generations?
6 Será que não tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que em ti se alegre o teu povo?
7 \85:6\Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Mostra-nos, Senhor , a tua misericórdia e concede-nos a tua salvação.
8 \85:7\Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
8 Escutarei o que Deus, o pois falará de paz ao seu povo e aos seus santos; e que jamais caiam em insensatez.
9 \85:8\I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Próxima está a salvação dos que o temem, para que a glória habite em nossa terra.
10 \85:9\Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 A graça e a verdade se encontraram, a justiça e a paz se beijaram.
11 \85:10\Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Da terra brota a verdade, dos céus a justiça baixa o seu olhar.
12 \85:11\Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Também o Senhor dará o que é bom, e a nossa terra produzirá o seu fruto.
13 \85:12\Yes, the LORD will give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 A justiça irá adiante do Senhor , cujas pegadas ela transforma em caminhos.
14 \85:13\Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
