1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the hights.
1 Aleluia! Louvem o louvem o
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
2 Louvem o Senhor , todos os seus anjos; louvem-no, todos os seus exércitos celestiais.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
3 Louvem o Senhor , sol e lua; louvem-no, todas as estrelas luzentes.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.
4 Louvem o Senhor , céus dos céus e as águas que estão acima do firmamento.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
5 Louvem o nome do Senhor , pois ele deu uma ordem, e foram criados.
6 He hath also established them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
6 Ele os estabeleceu para todo o sempre; fixou-lhes uma ordem que não será mudada.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
7 Desde a terra, louvem o Senhor ! Louvem-no, monstros marinhos e todos os abismos;
8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
8 fogo e granizo, neve e vapor e ventos fortes que lhe executam a palavra;
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
9 montes e todas as colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros;
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping animals, and flying fowl:
10 feras e todo o gado, animais que rastejam e aves;
11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
11 reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra;
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
12 rapazes e moças, velhos e crianças.
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
13 Louvem o nome do Senhor , porque só o seu nome é excelso; a sua majestade está acima da terra e do céu.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD.
14 Ele exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, dos filhos de Israel, povo que lhe é chegado. Aleluia!
