1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
1 Davi, juntamente com os chefes do serviço, separou para o ministério os filhos de Asafe, de Hemã e de Jedutum, para profetizarem com harpas, alaúdes e címbalos. O rol dos encarregados neste ministério foi:
2 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, who prophesied according to the order of the king.
2 dos filhos de Asafe: Zacur, José, Netanias e Asarela, filhos de Asafe, sob a direção deste, que exercia o seu ministério debaixo das ordens do rei.
3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.
3 Quanto à família de Jedutum, os filhos: Gedalias, Zeri, Jesaías, Hasabias e Matitias, seis, sob a direção de Jedutum, seu pai, que profetizava com harpas, em ações de graças e louvores ao Senhor .
4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
4 Quanto à família de Hemã, os filhos: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimote, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-Ézer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir e Maaziote.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
5 Todos estes foram filhos de Hemã, o vidente do rei e cujo poder Deus exaltou segundo as suas promessas, dando-lhe catorze filhos e três filhas.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
6 Todos estes estavam sob a direção respectivamente de seus pais, para o canto da Casa do Senhor , com címbalos, alaúdes e harpas, para o ministério da Casa de Deus, estando Asafe, Jedutum e Hemã debaixo das ordens do rei.
7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were skillful, was two hundred and eighty eight.
7 O número deles, juntamente com seus irmãos instruídos no canto do Senhor , todos eles mestres, era de duzentos e oitenta e oito.
8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
8 Deitaram sortes para designar os deveres, tanto do pequeno como do grande, tanto do mestre como do discípulo.
9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
9 A primeira sorte tocou à família de Asafe e saiu a José; a segunda, a Gedalias, que, com seus irmãos e seus filhos, eram doze ao todo.
10 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
10 A terceira, a Zacur, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
11 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11 A quarta, a Izri, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
12 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
12 A quinta, a Netanias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
13 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13 A sexta, a Buquias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
14 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
14 A sétima, a Jesarela, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
15 The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
15 A oitava, a Jesaías, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
16 The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
16 A nona, a Matanias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
17 The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
17 A décima, a Simei, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
18 The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
18 A undécima, a Azarel, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
19 The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
19 A duodécima, a Hasabias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
20 The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
20 A décima terceira, a Subael, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
21 The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
21 A décima quarta, a Matitias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
22 The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
22 A décima quinta, a Jerimote, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
23 The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
23 A décima sexta, a Hananias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
24 The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
24 A décima sétima, a Josbecasa, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
25 The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
25 A décima oitava, a Hanani, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
26 The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
26 A décima nona, a Maloti, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
27 The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
27 A vigésima, a Eliata, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
28 The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
28 A vigésima primeira, a Hotir, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
29 The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
29 A vigésima segunda, a Gidalti, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
30 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
30 A vigésima terceira, a Maaziote, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze.
31 The four and twentieth to Romamti-ezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
