1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Ta'yn ta u'ar ramõ, ame'ẽja pexo katu. A'eta kamby te'e juhéi. Aja mã peja Tupã je'ẽha ke peputar katu tĩ. (Kamby juhéi, ame'ẽja saka tĩ.) Aja rahã, pahar tiha oho. Aja rahã, Tupã rehe har pekwa katu te ta. Aja rahã, Tupã putar aja pexo katu ta.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Jete. Tupã je'ẽha rehe panduha ihĩ: “Pehẽ rehe jandema'e sawa'e te ipy'a katu. Ame'ẽ ke pekwa katu” aja panduha ihĩ. (A'erehe upa ma'e peka'u te'eha ke pema'ema'e ym.)
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Kuja Tupã je'ẽha rehe amõ mupinim. Tupã pandu:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Jetehar te. Pejurujar katu ehe ame'ẽ ta ke pehẽ. A'erehe ame'ẽ ita riki katu te aja pekwa katu. Jurujar ym ehe ame'ẽ ta amõ koty ukwaha. Kuja ta:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Pe, kuja Tupã je'ẽha rehe panduha ihĩ tĩ:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Kome'ẽ ywy keruhũ pe har ta ngi har pehẽ pe Tupã pandu:
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Yman ixotyhar ta ke aja ym pehẽ. Apo Tupã kotyhar ta ke pehẽ 'y. Awa ta rehe Tupã pyrara usak, ame'ẽ ke yman pekwa ym. Apo pehẽ rehe a'e pyrara usak ame'ẽ ta ke pehẽ 'y.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ihẽ rehe katu ame'ẽ ta ke pehẽ! Pehẽ riki kome'ẽ ywy keruhũ pe har ta aja ym pehẽ. (Ywa pe har ta ke pehẽ, aja pexo.) A'erehe kome'ẽ ywy keruhũ pe pesak te'e pexo ame'ẽ ta ke pehẽ. A'erehe pehẽ pe ihẽ apandu katu. Yman pexo ai te'e aja ym pexo apo 'y. Pexoha pyahu aja pexo apo 'y. Ame'ẽ mokõi pekwaha namõ pexo rahã, katu ym.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Tupã rehe hendu ym ame'ẽ ta namõ pexo rahã, mã peja pexo katu. Pe, pehẽ rehe har a'eta pandu my:
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Kome'ẽ ywy pe kapitã keruhũ ta ixo. Upa ame'ẽ ta rehe pehendu katu. Jandema'e sawa'e te aja pehẽ tĩ. Sehar kapitã keruhũ rehe pehendu katu tĩ. A'e riki kome'ẽ ywy pe awa ta 'ar koty te we je'ẽha te reko.

14 Kapitã ta rehe pehendu katu tĩ. A'eta ke sehar kapitã keruhũ mu'am. Katu ym ma'ema'e, ame'ẽ ta ke a'eta mahy ta, aja rahã ma'e ym ta. A'erehe kapitã ta ke sehar kapitã keruhũ mu'am. Pe, katu ame'ẽ ke ma'ema'e, ame'ẽ ta pe kapitã ta pandu tĩ:
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Kuja Tupã putar katu. Katu ame'ẽ ke pema'ema'e. Aja rahã, ka'u te'e ame'ẽ ta je'ẽha ke pemukanim ta a'eta ngi. Ukwa ym ame'ẽ ta pandu. “Jesu kotyhar ta katu ym” aja naĩ. Anĩ. Katu pexoha rahã, ame'ẽ je'ẽha ke pemukanim ta a'eta ngi.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Pehẽ peputar, aja pexo katu. Anĩ. Kuja ym pepandu:
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.

17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.

18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Katu te ame'ẽ ke pema'ema'e tipe. Pe, pehẽ jar pehẽ ke te'e pirok. Aja rahã, pehẽ py'ahu te'e pehendu. Aja Tupã putar, aja pekwaha namõ pepyraraha ke pehẽ py'ahu te'e pehendu. A'erehe: “Pehẽ katu” aja Tupã pandu ta.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Katu ym ame'ẽ ke pema'ema'e, a'erehe pehẽ ke pehẽ jar pirok. Ame'ẽ ke rehe pehẽ py'ahu te'e pehendu. Aja rahã: “Pehẽ riki katu” aja Tupã pandu ym ta. Pe, katu te ame'ẽ ke pema'ema'e tipe rahã, pehẽ ke pehẽ jar pirok. Ame'ẽ ke rehe pehẽ py'ahu te'e pehendu. Aja rahã: “Pehẽ katu” aja Tupã pandu ta.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Pehẽ ke Tupã muhã katu ame'ẽ ta ke pehẽ aja amõ ta ukwa rahã, pehẽ ke A'eta mupyrara ta. Kirisutu aja pehẽ ke tĩ. Pehẽ ruhãha muhepyha ke rehe a'e manõ rahã, a'e ke amõ ta mupyrara hũ. Aja rahã, a'e aja pehẽ ke tĩ. Mupyrara ta pehẽ ke tĩ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ma'e ka'u te'eha ke Kirisutu ma'e ym te. Te'e a'e pandu ym te tĩ. Ingi te'e panduha hendu ym te awa.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Amõ ta je'ẽ hãtã tã hũ ipe rahã, aja hãtã Kirisutu mujywyr ym a'eta pe. A'e ke amõ ta mupyrara rahã: “Pehẽ ke Tupã mupyrara ta” aja ym mupyrara ame'ẽ ta pe a'e pandu tĩ. A'e ke amõ ta mupyrara rahã, Tupã riki usak katu ta ehe, aja a'e ukwa katu. Ma'e katu ym ame'ẽ ke ma'ema'e, ame'ẽ ta ke Tupã riki mupyrara ta, aja Kirisutu ukwa katu. A'e riki katu te ame'ẽ ke a'e.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Jande riki ma'e jaka'u te'eha ke jama'ema'e. A'erehe myra ngã mupia ame'ẽ ke rehe Kirisutu pyrara hũ u'am. Aja rahã, ma'e jaka'u te'eha jama'ema'eha ke jahijar katu ta. Pe, katu ame'ẽ ke jama'ema'e apo 'y. A'e nupãha rape rehe jande ke a'e mukatu.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Arapuharan ta kanim oho ixo, aja saka pehẽ tĩ. Aja rahã, Tupã kotyhar ta aja ym pexo kwe. Apo arapuharan usakiha koty pejywyr peho, ame'ẽja saka. Pehẽ rehe a'e usak usak katu ixo tĩ. 25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
